I caught a fabulous deal on this place and when I arrived with my son, was told that we booked for just one bed and a room with 2 beds was $44 dollars more. We turned it down and said we didn't mind sharing as it was one night. She "upgraded" us for free. We had a room on the... More

we had a lovely room, clean and comfy but this is the city centre and open 24/7 so outside noise is loud, traffic mostly beeping horns all hours. great location for strolling in nearby central park or shopping in times square

We asked to stay in a room with 2 double beds, and boy were we surprised when we got to the room and it was a whole suite. There was a king bed in the bedroom, a king bed in the main room, a small living room space and small kitchen area. The bathroom had a handicap shower with 3... More

I'll just list the pros and cons of this hotel Pro: -Very reasonable price for the area -Great location between central park and times square -Subway is literally steps away -The bed is comfortable -Really powerful water pressure in the showers(might be a con to some, I liked it) -Huge mirror in room Con: -Not very clean -The pipes in... I recently spent two weeks at this hotel, off season, snow-rain-very cold weather. The hotel is old and the elevators are slow, but the worst part is how HOT the rooms are. There is no way to control the heat, which is generated radiant-style, probably from a boiler somewhere. We opened the window as far as it would go, but... More

We booked this hotel for a 1 week stay in NYC. The location was wonderful, close, walking distance to Time Square, Rockefeller Center and Broadway. Subway station access close by as well. We were initially given a room in an older part of the hotel. We had asked for a room with 2 double beds but the hotel was booked... More

We recently stayed at the Hotel Wellington in Midtown. Upon arriving the lobby was quite full of people coming and going. Our check in was quick and we even got an upgrade which gave us a top floor view of Times Square and a balcony. I felt the room was pretty spacious for a NY hotel and everything was extremely... We stayed here for three nights in total during the beginning of March. The room was small but the building seemed old and it was normal for that type of building and after our room in Paris this was much bigger. The beds were clean and well made, and the closet was a good space for a short visit. The... More

having stayed in a beautiful hotel in Niagara Having visited a hotel in Niagara Falls the night previously in comparison I found this hotel to be very disappointing. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and were greeted by friendly staff who were very helpful. Initially the decor of the hotel looked promising especially the lobby and lift... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
