The first room we were given was very small with a very small double bed. We asked to be moved and were given a room on the corner of the eleventh floor. Again the room was very small but the bed was slightly wider. Unfortunately the air conditioning was very noisy but rather than move again we bought some ear... More

Everything about this hotel was amazing, from the furnishing in the room, to the staff and location. It sit's in the middle between times square and central park so there is nothing out of reach. The hotel staff kept a parcel for me at reception for my arrival and could not have been more helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking... More

Myself and my husband stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed it! Room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly! Air con is a little noisy but no worse than the noise of traffic from the busy streets and didn't stop us from getting a good sleep! Bathroom was very small but did the job!... More

We stayed in room 50 ... It was our first time in New York .. The hotel was a perfect location. Subway was right outside ... We got an early check in and late checkout . The room was always cleaned when we were out .... Very comfortable stay at this hotel .. I booked a standard room and was... More

Stayed here on our first trip to NYC. The hotel is easy to get to from JFK airport - take the AirTrain then get on the E train at Sutphin Boulevard, you'll end up a couple of blocks away from the hotel. It's located inbetween Times Square and Central Park South and is within easy walking distance of both. You... More

To be honest, the hotel is an average hotel. It is dated and our rooms were on the small side. Having said that, the staff were friendly and the location was great. We were able to walk to almost everything we wanted to see and travelling as a family, we felt safe. It was very good value for money. A... More

I recently took a trip to New York with a friend, and he decided to pick the hotel, in hopes of "getting a good deal." He decided to stay in The Wellington Hotel. At first impressions, the hotel looks a bit run down and out of date, and this is immediately apparent in the public spaces. They feel old and... More

We were so happy staying here. The location was ideal and it was genuinely so comfy in many aspects. With it being a heat wave, the air con was great. The Park Cafe downstairs delivered a wonder breakfast to start our day off too. I'd definitely recommend it to others.

The location of this hotel is ideal, literally at the heart of Times Square. All the shops are within walking distance. Also the main subway station is literally outside the hotel. For a standard double room it lacks basic amenities such as: kettle, minifridge. The taps often failed to work, every other day a janitor had to be called to... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
