This hotel was fabulous!!! Great location, great service, great room. The decor isn't modern-but very charming. We got married during our stay and returned to a complimentary bottle of champagne which was very touching. Location was perfect-right next to the subway, 10 mins o Times Square. Don't pay for wifi, use Starbucks across the street, Bed was sumptuous! Would definitely... More

Stayed here last weekend in a double room on the 14th floor. I was very pleased with the decor, cleanliness, staff, etc. Our room was spotless and the shower pressure divine; I wanted to take it home with me. Centrally located with the N-R-Q subway right outside and Central Park a couple of blocks north. I had coffee at the... More

First room, we were woken up at 7am as building work outside our room, hotel moved us to a lovely room and hotel location is excellent. Only concern was that we purchased four boxes of chocolates with Times Square on them and had them in a carrier bag, when we came back after room had been cleaned, only three boxes... More

I emailed the hotel before travelling and the staff were very helpful, I got two different replies. The check-in process was easy, we were staying for 7 nights and they charged us wifi for 5 and they did inform us the breakfast options were limited (we purchased the breakfast vouchers at $16 each). The room was small, no sofa, furniture... More

A very friendly check in / receptionist allowed us to check in very very early (0945) as we had flown in from Las Vegas that morning. It was snowing and our luggage was dammaged en route. The room was huge with a comfortable King size bed and a very nice bathroom. I opted for a 3 day WiFi plan which... More

The location of this hotel was perfect for Manhattan sightseeing. No free WiFi in room (unless ordered online), shower curtain didn't meet edge of bath, no tea making facilities in room. Generally quiet, clean, staff helpful when needed. The cafe attached to the hotel seemed very overpriced but there are many alternatives nearby.

Chose this hotel because of the great location - 2 blocks south of Central Park. Older hotel with small rooms (double), small bathroom, and no free wi-fi. However, walking to a Broadway show, Central Park & the zoo, touring The Plaza was quick and easy. Having breakfast at Sarabeth's was great and visiting the coffee shops below the lobby of... More

Stayed at the Wellington for a 2 night biz trip. Found the Wellington on tripadvisor, selected it for location, service and value. I booked online directly on at the Wellington website and saved even more. I had a great stay - my room was clean and well appointed. Armando at the door and Lindsay at the front desk were particularly... More

The Wellington hotel was in a great location just south of Central Park. However, the room was very tired and run down, we only ever had SCALDING hot water or ICE cold water in the bathroom, and the room AC didn't work properly. The rooms also weren't very clean. WIFI was however included which was a nice bonus and the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
