This hotel made our trip in New York. The location gives you enough space to feel like your out of the bright lights of Times Square but close enough that its only about a 5 minute walk. Only a couple of blocks down from Central Park. The rooms are spacious and housekeeping does a really good job. I would recommend... More

its a great hotel in a great location. in one direction times square is less than 10 minutes walk and then in the other direction less than 10 minutes walk is central park which at this entrance is where the ice skating rink and strawberry fields are (we found out the hard way and walked the whole length looking for... We booked this trip as a last minute deal. We were given larger room than we had booked without asking. That was a relief as this room with two double beds was small. The bathroom was very tiny. However it was very clean. The major downside for us was the heat in the room it was unbearable, I did ask... More

Great Location. You are steps from Central Park and very short walk to Time Square and Broadway. Rooms are very old and not in the best shape but who cares when you are in NY NY. Hotel staff is nice. Very close to the subway! Ask the doorman where to eat he had some great suggestions that were very low... More

Arrived on thanksgiving day and stayed for 4 nights. Emailed ahead of our visit to ask if all 5 couples could be near each other as we were celebrating wedding anniversaries and birthdays. They didn't disappoint. The hotel is in a perfect location 5 min walk from time square and a two minute walk from Central Park. It's a little... More

...that is clean and offers standard amenities, this is the place for you. The prices and location can't be beat: N/R train just outside the door, C/E/F train two blocks down. Carnegie Hall and Carnegie Deli. Good pubs nearby and ultra-cool London hotel just around the block. The hotel lobby is bustling with tourists and the staff is very friendly.... More

I stayed in the hotel over two trips in January 2015 and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I had a cancelled flight arriving into New York, and they were happy to refund me that night, which was very kind of them. Throughout my stays they were very good, and the location to explore New York was great. The... More

We arrived in the middle of January and the NYC was VERY cold, -4 when we arrived. Checked into our room was smooth and they were polite but not very forthcoming with information about the restaurant or coffee shop, neither of which we used but it would have been nice to have the information provided. Hotel location was AMAZING! Couldn't... More

We spent five days at this hotel and it was wonderful. The rooms are huge considering the location, the staff are really friendly, the hotel is in great condition and is absolutely in walking distance to everything you need. It's in the best location you could get for such fabulous value. We found it like a little oasis as its... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
