I checked in today for a three day work trip, and am already disappointed. On the positive side, the location is great and. I arrived early and they had a room for me. On the negative: I went to take a bath tonight and there is no plug for the tub. I've now waited over a half an hour for... More

Top floor room, large, own balcony, light, well designed, comfortable bed, good bathroom. What more could you want? Well a fridge would be good. Apparently there might be one on request. For a 6 night stay it should be automatic. The coffee maker is good but why must every paper cup be wrapped in plastic? But, great location, a short... More

In its previous incarnation as On the Ave, I had stayed at this hotel three or four times on business and personal visits to NYC. The hotel has new management and a new name, and has been redesigned, sadly for the worse. The GOOD: great Upper west side location, the bar downstairs is kind of hip, nice 16th floor public... More

The NYLO Hotel is on the corner of Broadway and W 77th. Excellent Location. My wife and I spent four nights there and enjoyed every moment. The staff really made us feel welcome and were very helpful with their suggestions about the area. I would like to especially thank Saeny, Alberto and Brendon for their help. We are definitely going... More

Nice hotel in the upper west district. Thought there are many hotels available, this come came close to a good value for our money. Perfect for the weekend getaway. Many restaurants were walking distance and the famous Zabar's grocery. A short distance by bus to the museums. Would definitely come back to stay here. Clean rooms, good bathroom space and... More

I am a frequent traveler to NYC, specifically the UWS, so I am getting to know the lay of the land as far as hotels. This has been my best experience so far. Since I'd taken a red eye and had meetings starting at 12, I needed a place to crash ASAP. Which they provided. It was a room overlooking... More

I usually don’t stay in hotels in NYC (as I usually stay with friends) but on this weekend business trip I stayed in the NYLO hotel. I found it not by recommendation but just by researching online. The hotel is located in a nice area in the upper West Side. I paid roughly $330 a night for a king superior... More

From the comfortable bed to the enjoyable new bar, this is one of the coziest and best run places I've stayed in NY. Staff like Jose are dedicated and attentive to detail. Highly recommended. This is the third time I've stayed here and I look forward to the next visit.

There was demolition work on our side of the hotel that started at 7:00am and I asked the staff for a change of room and they gave us a room on the 14th floor with a balcony looking over the Hudson river. Beautiful sunsets and balmy evenings. The hotel is a bit hip compared to the usual hotel chains with... More

This was our first stay here and we are definitely coming back! The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The hotel itself is conveniently located, clean, and had great amenities. The price was right too!
