I have stayed at the Lucerne quite a few times over the past several years. The hotel is nice, clean and a good value for New York, but what keeps me coming back is the location. Again, I found this hotel while searching for an affordable place to stay in New York. The Lucerne is a nice hotel, good amenities and very good service and staff. A little out-of-the-way location for much of New Yorks key areas but the value makes up for it.

We upgraded to a corner room, which was a little larger, had more windows, and we thought was well worth the $20 extra per night.
