Upper west side boutique hotel. Close to Central Park. Very close to Subway access. Reasonable rates, excellent service. I have stayed here twice and will look to come again on my next trip. It's a find!

Last stayed here a year or two ago and the Lucerne is as comfortable as ever. I've stayed elsewhere in Manhattan and paid substantially more for a smaller room with no more amenities. Having Nice Matin next door is a bonus..

Stayed at this hotel for an overnight after the theater. I'm very familiar with the neighborhood having lived there for 14 years before heading for the suburbs. The hotel is beautifully decorated with fresh flowers in the lobby. Rooms are a bit on the small side but well planned out and comfortable. Near great restaurants and the Natural History Museum,... The hotel is clean, friendly and relatively spacious. We loved being so close to Central Park, Riverside Park, and the subway line. We were treated very well by the staff. We will definitely return the next time we visit NYC.

I didn't know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised. The front desk person was extremely helpful (so sorry I don't remember his name). The room was small but clean and comfortable. My only issue was that it was on the 2nd floor and it felt like we were right on the street. If I hadn't known we were... More

Having researched many hotels in NYC, we decided on the Lucerne Hotel. It was the BEST experience ever. Our first encounter left a lasting impression on our entire group of four women, she was the Front Desk person (Debra). She continued to make our stay a memorable one. Her kindness, sincerity, and recommendations were the absolute BEST!! Loved the hotel,... More

We have stayed at The Lucerne many times and always pick it as our go-to place to erstwhile in New York. A great staff and very nice accommodations make for a wonderful experience. We have visited and stayed at The Lucerne six times previously and have always had a great experience.

The Lucerne is a great surprise in a big city. Central Park and the Museum of Natural History are just two blocks east of the hotel. Staff is helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable. It is a good value on the upper west side. It is far enough away from the busy part of the city but close enough that... More

A very attending staff in the Lucerne hotel on the upper west side, great retauarants around on Amsterdam and if you stay longer you have Zabars on Broadway to buy food for light dinners like cocktail shrimps ( the big ones!) cheese, baguette , fruits and vegetables. Overall the staff is very attending. We will be back. The hotel restaurant... More
