This is a great location, for young people who like to explore the city, It is situated right next to Central Park and only a 15-20 minute walk to time square. Even though the rooms are basic and small , they are very clean and housekeeping was regular . Staff are friendly and me and my friend felt very safe.... More

Simple rooms but good for sleeping. Good cleaning service. Clean toilets and showers. Helpful staff. Good location near metro station and Central Park. We appreciated luggage storage ($2) in the last day.

The location is great. The rooms are what you pay for. The bathrooms need ventilation and a good clean. I would recommend going down to the 3rd floor to use the gym showers and change room rather than using the hotel change room. The young man that first helped me was very helpful and professional, but the second woman with... More

Really bad room, really bad staff, really bad facilities, no extras (like all other hotels), wifi was difficult to attain, constantly too hot, it's like the literally didn't care about anyone in there and were just churning people in and out as fast and cheaply as possible.

You will probably consider this hotel if you're short on cash. Great location. But the hotel is worn down. I'm not a picky type, but had to ask for another room when I found half-eaten food and used q-tips on the floor. Cleaning is not that good in showers. Walls are definitely not sound proof! More like cardboard-walls.

The location of the hostel is quite convenient. Takes maybe 10-15 minutes to walk to Times square from the hostel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was quite nice, with a small tv screen in the corner and a small closet were we could hang our clothes. In the lobby of the hostel is a small shop... More

This was the cheapest place I could find for our NYC trip, and for what we paid, it was great. The rooms are small, the bunk beds are not really that comfortable and the elevators are slow. But, the location is fantastic and the price is very low. When your in NYC, you shouldn't be planning on spending too much... More

It's hard to find cheap accommodation in New York, but we did our best and booked a double room in New York. This is a enormous hostel, with a lot of guests... Most of them older. The location was very very good, three blocks from Colombus Circle, just by Central Park. The room was ok, but nothing special at all!... More

My mom and I stayed here for a week. We had a bunk bed room, and the mattresses were comfy. However, the sheets were only changed once throughout the week we stayed. The room had ants, and housekeeping threw away our leftover food we had brought back from dinner the previous night. Besides the constant smell of wet carpet in... More
