Our rooms were not available on arrival as apparently they didn't exist and this is not an inexpensive hotel for a family of 6! We spent a couple of days separated as a family in different rooms and eventually got upgraded to a spectacular suite which surpassed our expectations. The frustrating thing was the ability to commit and deliver on... More

Just returned from a special trip to Manhattan and stayed in a corner suite at the Waldorf Towers. The suite felt more like a fine home than a hotel, and the staff was unfailingly professional and welcoming. Whitney, our assistant in selecting the suite, was extraordinary and made a special effort to greet us personally upon our arrival. The Tower... More

The Waldorf Towers is definitely a treat. With its own separate entrance, it is truly a hotel within a hotel. The service was excellent and the rooms were very spacious. Would also highly recommend the Guerlain Spa which was very special.

All big cities around the world have at least one of them: The grand old hotel; often they offer only a name, a glitzy lobby and high prices, but this one, the Waldorf Astoria of New York, remains grand in every sense of the word - including the lobby! From the building itself and its location down to the impeccable... More

After looking and looking for a hotel for a family vacation in NYC I finally, with trepidation decided on the Waldorf. Other reviews said it was dated or criticized the lobby check in process etc. I could not find one fault with the hotel. It exceeded all of our expectations. Beautiful, elegant, classy and top notch service. Beds that where... More

I did enjoy my stay in this landmark hotel very very much. All the staff is extremely friendly and the view from the luxury guest rooms to Midtown is breathtaking. Chef concierge Michael Romei is the good soul in respect of guest relations and made our stay an unforgettable one. I'll be back for sure during my next NYC visit... More

For those who can afford it, this is the pinnacle of New York luxury accommodations. The staff could not be more welcoming. And the hotel has avoided the rundown aura that grandes dames establishments of its type often exude. The mid-town location on Park Avenue is also a plus.

I was super excited when I found out I'd be staying at the Waldorf. After all, it's a NY classic and even though I have lived in NY all my life I have never stayed there. I also was under the impression that the Waldorf was top of the line in terms of luxury. Then when they upgraded us to... More

Made a reservation at the Waldorf Astoria and upon check in, was offered an "upgrade" to the Towers for $100 more. Asked what the benefits were and we were "given" free Internet and access to the Astoria Lounge for complimentary drinks and breakfast. We asked if it was a continental breakfast or something better and was told it was like... More

The Waldorf is in a great location. Stayed in the Towers in a large 2 bedroom suite. No fridge, microwave or coffee maker which seem odd for a room of this type. Room service was inadequate but hotel staff was great!
