My second time to stay at Waldorf recently and now my new favourite hotel in NY. Classic but very comfy decor and space on rooms is above the norm in NY and gives a 'home away from home' feel. I stayed in Towers this time and enjoyed great views from top floor and corner room. Every staff member I met... More

My two sisters and I stayed four fabulous nights in legendary Waldorf Towers. Please discover this registered landmark with the lovely and tour docent Karen. The Waldorf=Astoria and Towers come alive with sweet Karen's extensive knowledge and provides an understanding view of another era.

A truely great hotel with friendly efficient staff. Beautiful rooms and public spaces and a great location. Close to restauarants, shopping and the subway. Based on NYC hotel room prices this is a great value for a hotel of this quality.

An amazing classic hotel, but now riding on its past name? Hopefully the new owners can turn things around as at present the hotel feels like a 4 (breakfast 3 star), definitely not a 5 star. Visited from England for a week, renting a suite at the Waldorf Astoria Towers - were left somewhat disappointed.. Positives: An amazing lobby, nice... More

Old fashion glamour and charm. You can "feel" the history here with the pictures of all the famous people who have stayed here. The staff are truly impeccable! There is room for improvement, like having 24 hour Room Service. Otherwise a Wonderful stay here with Wonderful memories made.

we stayed at the hotel in 2000, having been upgraded on arrival to the Towers. the breakfast selection then was nearly as wide as Oscars and the facility on the 26 floor was open all days and early evening. food selection now restricted and closed at 4pm. also no afternoon teas in the park avenue foyer. still good but lost... My daughter and I have just returned from a four night stay at the Towers. On arrival there was a bit of a kerfuffle regarding our room. We were however an hour early in arriving from the airport for a 3.00 pm check in. It was suggested that we go to the 26th floor for afternoon tea which we did.... More

The hotel lobbies are spectacular but the rooms are dilapidated. I am very disappointed as I expected more of the Waldorf Astoria. We complained about the room and were moved the next day. Rooms on the higher floors (35 and above) seem to be in better condition.

stayed in the tower suite- room 32T. the room looked old and tired. looked like my grandmother's apartment. for a vip/luxury suite in Manhattan, it surely didn't live up to the competition. bathroom layout was incredibly cramped. in fact, one had to be a contortionist to reach the toilet paper. the shower stall was so small that I literally couldn't... Originally booked a room at the legendary Waldorf Astoria, but asked for a paid upgrade to a towers luxury guest room. It was beautiful beyond words, from entering the hotel on its East 50th St private entrance to its well adorned corridors to its luxurious, enormous guest room... everything was nicely appointed and extremely well furbished. The room and furniture... More
