Stayed over X-mas break so perhaps you can discount some of the letdowns. The Towers lobby is smaller, and more private. Check-In was brisk, and I was upgraded to Penthouse suite overlooking Roosevelt island. Excellent room, comfortable, plush, everything worked. Until I looked for the fridge. The room had no minibar. I can understand if a minibar is empty, but... More

This was always somewhere I had wanted to stay and worth the splurge! Had a brilliant suite on 39th floor of the Towers part of the hotel and loved being able to treat ourselves. It was really big, with separate lounge, dining room and dressing room as well as of course big bedroom. Bathroom was older style but we felt... More

NYC during the holidays is a fantastic experience and the Waldorf Towers makes it magical. It's a gorgeous, historic hotel with a perfect location to walk to Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Park Avenue, Fifth Avenue shopping, Central Park and the Empire State Building. The Towers rooms are large enough for a family to stay comfortably and the breakfast... More

Waldorf Astoria IS New York City. After being welcomed in to this enchanting hotel with open arms I was left asking, "How can one visit New York without experiencing one of its most storied hotels?" Each room is custom-tailored to fit your mood and inspiration, wisking me away to memories of my travels around the French countryside and favorite places... More

We had a truly wonderful time, helped by us staying in the Waldorf Towers, upgraded to a suite. There are benefits and drawbacks to going in "off season" (second half of Jan and all of Feb), benefits being less guests, so more upgrade chances, more chance of getting a seat in Harry's Bar and less queues at checkin / out.... It is hard to describe in words how amazing it was to stay at the Towers of the Waldorf Astoria recently. To see pictures, but then actually see it in reality took my breath away. I could not speak. It was a special weekend in New York with friends and The Waldorf treated us so well. Natalie gave amazing service... More

There are many great hotels in New York but there's something about the Waldorf that makes it the quintessential New York vacation hotel. It has a grand "old art deco dame" opulence that sums up the vibe of this part of Manhattan. We have stayed on numerous occasions now,the last time being with our 9 and 13yr old children. The Waldorf did... More

My parnter and I recently got married and chose New York for our honeymoon destination. We spent 5 days and 4 nights and had the most fabulous, amazing time! We booked to stay at the Waldorf Astoria and when we arrived mentioned that it was our honeymoon to then be upgraded to the Towers! From the moment we arrived we... More

There are so many decisions to make while visiting New York—places to see, things to do, food to eat, etc., but the best decision we made while planning our trip was to stay at The Towers of the Waldorf Astoria! From the moment we walked in the door, we were incredibly well taken care of. A staff person even showed... More

The Tower side of the Waldorf Astoria is a big step above the other side. I stayed in a normal room back in December and submitted a mixed review. We had several issues that last time. Due to the fact that I had meetings in one of the Waldorf Towers Suites, I stayed in one as well. WOW! This room... More
