We transferred to the Waldorf last minute as a result of an overbooking issue at our originally selected hotel which relegated us from a suite to a small standard room (for four people!!). The Waldorf took us in last minute and graciously upgraded us from the one bedroom 550 sq. ft. suite we reserved to a very large luxury suite... More

Booked a Suite for my wife and daughter to celebrate our daughters 16th Birthday. It was a Mother/Daughter stay. From the minute I booked the suite with American Express platinum Fine Hotels, I rec'd emailed from the staff ! Upon checking into the Private Towers reception, they were offered a complimentary upgrade that is part of being an American Express... More

I am a regular towers guest over the last 18 years - it's a home away from home for me - personalised service plus fantastic staff and concierge service more than compensate for old world furniture and fit outs. I will not stay anywhere else in nyc.

We reserved a suite and we were upgraded to a very large one bedroom. What a fabulous gift! We arrived at the Waldorf after a very unpleasant check in at a different hotel which is known for service yet was unable to deliver. The staff at the Waldorf are excellent. The service is unmatched. The beautiful rooms are authentic, clean,... More

Lovely lobby and restaurants. Rooms are oversized and nice. Bath need plumbing repairs, leaks in bath and shower. We had a 1 bedroom suite with a couch that opened in Living room. Lots of closets and A/C was terrific in NY in June.

I stayed at The Towers for 8 nights in June 2015 as part of my 50th birthday celebrations. We arrived from Australia to find we had been upgraded to a suite with a birthday cake and personal birthday card. What a fabulous welcome. The staff were efficient, friendly and helpful during our stay and we had a wonderful holiday in... More

Living at the Towers for a week was everything I hoped it to be. Elegant, discreet, but available attention when required from the many helpful and smiling staff. I see The Towers as a hotel on top of a hotel as your floor will be at a minimum 27th up to 42nd. It was fantastic to be in a spacious... More

We just finished our second stay at The Towers of The Waldorf Astoria and have already booked a return trip for our family holiday in the upcoming Australian summer. We are so enamoured with the property that we booked a three week stay this time. After experiencing The Towers, I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. The Towers delivers the... More

Where do I even start? Prior to our trip I contacted Ms. Abir Tebbo at The Towers and asked for special breakfast accommodations for my severely autistic daughter. She immediately responded for more information. She then followed up personally with a phone call prior to us even leaving for the trip. Upon arrival we were generously upgraded. This is an... More

Stayed at the Waldorf Astoria NYC two weeks ago. You pay a bit more for this hotel but of course you expect a higher level of service/comfort.....unfortunately this is not what I received. I was placed in a room adjoining a suite that was being used for magic shows open to the public. The level of noise (cheering etc) was... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
