We visit NYC every year in February for a long weekend to celebrate my husbands birthday. We used to stay at different hotels. Six years ago we started staying at The Towers of the Waldorf Astoria....and we haven't changed hotels since. We always have a beautiful suite. We love the old charm & history of this hotel. The service is... More

Stayed for the second time in the Towers at the Waldorf on Park Avenue in Manhattan. The room I stayed in was flawless. The bed was amazing, that I may try and find this brand for my home. Turn down service was nice with clean towels at this time. Highly recommend this if you want a first class stay in... More

My wife and I spent two nights in the Towers for our first ever trip to NYC. We arrived on Friday, 1/22/16, the day it began to snow and snow and snow (27" total). The room was spacious and clean and met our expectations of what a room should be like in a grand hotel. We took advantage of the... More

Dear Ruqaya A, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback regarding your recent stay. We should have had a doorman in place; it sounds as if you came in through the Park Avenue entrance and for Towers guests we always suggest utilizing our private Towers entrance, which is well equipped for luggage movement and staffed at... Our suite was spacious and gorgeous with decor that took you back in time. The extremely sweet, and friendly staff go above and beyond providing impeccable service that cannot be found anywhere else. Waldorf-Astoria of New York, probably the most illustrious name in the hotel trade, has a total of 1235 rooms according to statistics, but it is quite unique that only 181 accommodations on the top floors belong to the Towers of Waldorf-Astoria. The Tower, it seems, is marketed almost as a separate entity, and with such a small number, it is... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
