I wasn't there long as I arrived late and departed very early. Not able to get any coffee or food at the time I was departing. It might be a good idea to have something for those folks that leave before 7am in the morning.

We stayed three nights in a fabulous suite over this last weekend. The drawing room was enormous and beautiful furnished. Wish we had had more time to enjoy it. Everything about the Towers experience was faultless. Thank you concierge Michael.

As a diamond member I was upgraded to one of the suites. Very spacious and definitely worth it. The hotel is situated close to many attractions, but is most often used by business travelers. Service is excellent and internet was free. The lounge serves very nice breakfast, but service there may improve. I liked the steakhouse inside the hotel, which... More

We stayed at the towers to get away from our busy lives.. had a weekend off; so decided last minute to visit NYC with our 3 month old boy. Booked a king bed suite at towers and booking was quite easy. Also booked a massage and a facial for myself at the Guerlain spa on 19th floor. Check in was... More

A lovely hotel with classic new york charms and lines. The staff were attentive. I booked last minute and got an excellent rate in the Waldorf Tower. The hotel's location on the east side worked well for business purposes. A minor room issue was handled promptly and professionally.

During our eight days stay at The Towers of The Waldorf we had the opportunity to live in a double room, a one and a two bedroom suite. A suite really makes your holiday so much more comfortable. If you are planning a trip to Manhattan then the Warldorf is the most central hotel you can find. This historical building... More

Besides the rich history that the Waldorf of NYC is known for, the hotel has been maintained and updated in a very “friendly” manner. The main lobby has kept its magic since I remembered it first over twenty years ago.

It was my birthday and I found this wonderful deal on BA.com with Waldorf Hotel. Being our very first visit to the hotel we were given special treatment; they upgraded our room to the Tower block on the 41st floor and view from our room was excellent. We were also given complimentary cocktail vouchers to redeem for my birthday. In-house... More

Many "grande dame" hotels have not aged well. A little shabby; indifferent service. Not so with the Waldorf-Astoria. It was magnificent. The hotel is huge -- an entire city block, but well run (generally well run, some criticism to follow). The staff is helpful and available, without hovering or fawning. Being in the hotel is like being transported back in... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
