We have stayed at a lot of hotels in New York City and wish we had found the Towers sooner. From the moment you arrive you are treated like royalty. Upon check in Krissy was the perfect welcoming host and took us from check in to our beautiful room on the 36th floor. Everything was very clean and welcoming. Our... More

I was looking forward to staying at the Waldorf Austria it's reputation and image was very attractive. Additionally, As a top tier Hilton member I was expecting beyond the typical attentive treatment. Yet, the receptionist was a cold fish, we recieved a basic room and even a late checkout was not available. The room was OK size for three and... More

I stayed at The Towers for 5 nights and really enjoyed it. Room 40H4 is spacious , lovely decorated and gives you a magnificent view at the Chrysler building. The room was very clean with lots of space, a huge walk-in closet and a fine bathroom. Breakfast at 26th floor came with a decent selection of food and coffee. The... More

Recently my daughters and I stayed at the Waldorf Towers in New York City. Upon arrival, Mark, the front desk associate upgraded our room. He was polite and professional and made us feel special. What a spacious, beautiful room. Also, Graham, the concierge, was extremely helpful by recommending restaurants and making reservations. He also helped us find a jeweler for... More

Without too much experience of New York hotels generally, we found the Waldorf to be a great place to explore NY as tourists. I reckon on a good night's sleep being the most important thing if you are doing the city thing, and in this regard the Waldorf did not disappoint. I would recommend spending that little bit more and... More

I spent only one night at the Towers, as the guest of a friend, but I was so pleasantly surprised. It's lovely to have a private entrance on 50th St., and this entrance gives the Towers a wonderfully intimate feel. I prefer smaller hotels over larger, so had never really considered the Waldorf Astoria to be my kind of hotel.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
