Overall, I give this a 4.5 out of 5. Only concern is that they cut the AC off in winter and our room would not go below 72-74 rang. Too tasty for me. check in was good however check out was a little sloppy. stayed in towers and it was tougher to catch a cab than at the Main hotel.... More

I live and breathe hospitality in my own hotels, and I arrived November 26 with high expectations- hoping to have room service create a "home style" thanksgiving ensuite for our party of 8, and a memorable "surprise" reception to announce our daughter's engagement to our NY family the following saturday. My daughter wanted to have one more "A" suite stay... More

From the moment of my arrival I was treated like a Prince. The staff laid out all the luxury options available to me; and was promptly available at my every beck and call. The property itself is huge. It is perfect if you seek privacy and perfect if your're looking for an upscale, classy enviorment to have a drink or... More

I always stay at the Waldorf when I visit NYC. It is by far my favorite hotel. This past weekend was my first stay in the Towers. Excellent!! We had a two bedroom apartment. My brother and sister loved, loved, loved it. Angel and Jessica were amazing. I will definitely return! Job well done Waldorf.

Having spent three nights in the Waldorf I was expecting a nice room when we moved to the Towers for our last night. I was wrong. This room was jaw dropping. Grand piano, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, views across to the river and round to St Patricks. Opulent and dramatic.

Great Hotel, rooms nicely appointed. The staff was very attentive needs and very courteous. I would return. There are three restaurants located in the hotel. We ate at the Bull and bear which was scrumptious. I had the cold shell fish platter and the Sea Bass.

We had a beautiful stay at the Waldorf Towers. The suite was clean and luxurious. The staff both warm and professional. Special requests when making the reservation such as providing distilled water for a CPAP machine and an electric cord were graciously provided. Our room was upgraded. The feeling is a home away from home. Nothing negative. We did not... More

To date, this King Suite is the most elegant room in which we have stayed. Entry hall, large sitting room, lovely furniture, bedroom and bathroom. High ceilings with chandeliers throughout. Certainly much nicer furnishings and decoration than the shabby, faded elegance of the main Waldorf Astoria's rooms. While perhaps one night was not sufficient to test the service, it did... More

In NY, it is hard to find spacious and well-lit hotel rooms: our suite was at the 30th floor and had so many windows that it was full of light. Very comfortable living-room, many wardrobes and cabinets in a separate powder-room, comfortable bathroom with Ferragamo luxurious amenities. Fast, separate check-in/out but communication with the beautiful Waldorf lobby. Nice breakfast/tea room... More

I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived on the property to the time of my departure. Each staff member that I came in contact with was quite friendly and more than willing to assist me. The location of this facility is excellent.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
