This is a slightly dated Hotel built over a carpark. Ther is a swimming pool, that was closed during our brief stay. The reception area is dark, but the service is warm, and Poonan was most helpful when we arrived by car. The room was adequate, with a slightly faded feel, but was clean enough, and the beds were comfortable.... More

Being in NYC for a show at Javits, this hotel fit our needs perfectly. There are no frills (no in-room safe, but there is a safe at the reception desk) and it's certainly not trendy, but it was surprisingly clean and bed-bug free. Added bonus: in-out parking privileges and the fridge/microwave. The staff were friendly and helpful, really no complaints.

Have stayed here many times when I need the basics to sleep. Since I was here for a late night show, I booked this again. The room was basic, though the microwave and refrigerator are always an added plus. No free wifi, but I didn't need it. I was able to get this room for $200 a night, if you... More

I stayed in this hotel last week with my family. I really have to say that this a well hidden hotel, very clean and the housekeepers are great keeping up with making sure the rooms kept cleaned. But, if you are the kind of person that likes to be treated with respect and friendliness from the Front Desk employees, do... More

I have been using this hotel for the last 15 years, never been disappointed. However, they are under renovation. The staff are friendly, polite, helpful and accommodating. I appreciate all the amenities (location, frig, microwave & garage). At times I used the garage at others I did not. Once I forgot couple of items in the room, when I called... More

This is advertised as a value priced boutique hotel, and by midtown standards it is lower than most. That said, it is in serious need of upgrade on some of the most basic items, handicap accessibility being a major item. They have installed plywood ramps covered with carpet over stairs to comply with the accessibility act, but they are steep... More

The rooms were nice sized. Mini-fridge and micro wave in the rooms. Bathrrom was tiny. The place was spotless....you could of eaten off the floor! They do have parking in their garage...I didn't use as I came on a bus. It is on 42nd street so you can just walk right up to Times Square. 2 blocks from Port Authority.

Horrible, threatened to kick us out when we inquired about a different room or partial refund due to broken ac! When we checked in, we set the ac to the lowest, 50 degrees. When we came back 9 hours later the room was still at 80 degrees! I called the front desk and the Indian accent front person sent a... More

Stayed for five nights at the end of Feb 2015 and was very happy with this hotel. It is in an excellent location, and whilst it is old it is not run down. We were on the seventh floor and found street noise minimal - however the walls are paper thin! All in all very good value for money.

Stayed in February for 4 nights great value great kocation and wonderful staff. We really enjoyed our stay room was spotless and we walked everywhere from hotel. We brought a fold up scooter for our 7 year old which worked a treat no tired little legs. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks to all the staff!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
