The room was clean and spacious and the rate for a 2 night stay during the holiday season was reasonable especially considering that the parking was only $20 a day(though it used to be free). This visit was the 3rd time we've stayed there and have not been disappointed yet. Would definitely stay there again. The location is perfect for... More

Wont recommend this place to anyone planning to put up in and around times square, A very average place though the charges were very high in compared to the condition of the room and services. The area was very noisy , the service was very very pathetic. Overall please avoid it.

This hotel is not a fancy hotel or fancy location, HOWEVER, if you are looking for a clean and safe place to stay for very reasonable rates, this will fit the bill. We got an internet rate of $105 per night, and paid $20 a day for parking. For two nights with taxes and fees it came to just under... More

Just got back from a two night stay and I guarantee we will be back. I was there for an event at the Javits Center. It about a 5 block walk or a quick taxi ride. Not a bad walk to Times Square either. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Yes there is a $20 charge for parking but... More

Location is great!!---walking distance to time square -broadway-central park-subway-grand central station- empire state building and so many more sightings... Parking--underground and $ 20.00 a day The Rooms-standard looking room-- very dated and old.... I kind of felt ewwwww.... there were mouse traps under the beds--thankfully no mice in them!!!! I will say that NYC does have a lot of mice... More

For many years the Travel Inn offered the almost unheard-of perk of free, on-site parking in Midtown. It's a perk I really miss having stayed here a number of times over the years! It set the hotel apart from the many, many discount hotels in the city. The hotel is still a good bargain much of the time (the price... More

this hotel made everything about my first trip to new york perfect! its very hard to find a reasonably priced hotel so close to the middle of times square, especially with private bathrooms. the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. i would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone

Stayed at the Travel Inn from December 19th to the 23 Rd. This was our first trip to New York so I wanted something that was within walking distance to Times Square and other attractions but we are also on a budget so I wasn't sure it was possible. This price was great for the location! 10 minute walk to... More

Good midtown location close to West Side Hwy. for easy access in and out of NYC, with great onsite self-parking for only $20/night (a real bargain in NYC). Only a few blocks from Times Square hotels and major subway lines and easy access to cab service or walking to midtown tourist sites. Rooms are spacious by NYC standards and having... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
