This was our 3rd stay at this hotel, and we will definitely keep returning to this great place whenever we are in NYC. It's not a luxury-type of accommodation...there is no room-service and there is some traffic noise from the street....this is Manhattan, not a country inn. It is clean, a diner on-site for a good, decent, well-priced breakfast ,... More

I remember my first to NYC around 1986. It was a different city. I have been to NYC over a dozen times since then and since my usual Hotel was booked for the weekend I wanted, I picked this one as it was close to the Javitz Center. It is the same one I stayed in as a teen. I... More

We stayed two nights, October 6th & 7th. The place is a dump! The carpet was disgusting & the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I ever slept on. The unit was freezing cold & when we told the front desk their response was "we haven't turned on the heat yet". The worst part of it all was when I... More

I found the hotel better than I expected and close to Big Bus Tours tours in Manhattan. They have a secure place for luggage if you arrive early in the day and want to tour. The deli next door is good for breakfast. I would stay again and suggest it to others. I was going on a cruise.

We stayed 1 night, had an issue with the headboard. They were sending someone up immediately to fix but we told them it could wait. They are very friendly staff. The neighborhood wasn't as nice as the other hotel we stayed in a couple blocks closer to Times Square. That is my only complaint. Nice sized rooms at good price.... More

I rented two rooms Oct 03rd thur the 5th. The location was perfect, that's the only thing I can say. My bed felt like I was sleeping on a box spring, my room was cold, heat didnt work. Housekeeping cleaned my room and tossed out my phone charger and ring also the TV remote. The staff found my charger but... More

Good prices for New York. Excellent location. Easy walk for most activities. Very central for lots of restaurants. My room was recently upgraded and was very attractive, extremely clean, and very comfortable. I was on the front of the building and was not bothered by noise at all. I am a senior female traveling alone and felt safe at all... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in late September. Rooms clean and comfortable. Excellent location. Within walking distance of most of New York's tourist attractions - Times Square, Broadway, Empire state building. Also close to the piers and water taxis. I chose this hotel on price and it turned out to be a good choice. Staff were very helpful.

I always stay at the Travel Inn when I'm in NYC. It's a great location, affordable and also offers free parking. I was upgraded to the deluxe room and the room was outstanding. All new furnishings, etc. I will continue to stay at the Travel Inn when visiting NYC!
