The price was good. Only $20 for parking each night. The hotel could use some updates, it doesn't look modern at all and the bathrooms are very small. But it's in a good location. We were able to walk down the street for a lot of activities.

The hotel is simple and does seem to be slowly decaying, but is much cheaper than rivals. Beds are good, rooms are clean. Big TV too! The view from the hotel is stunning (the New York skyline) and it is positioned conveniently, a half hour walk from the Empire State Building and a <10 minutes walk to Madame Tussauds and... More

The location is superb. If you are driving in they have on site parking in a secure garage for only $20 a day which is amazing and the hotel is only a few blocks from the Lincoln Tunnel so it is very easy to access. The hotel is only a few blocks from subway stations and Times Square so you... More

I have stayed at the Travel Inn in NYC twice, once in March of 2013 and once in March of 2014 and I have not been disappointed. Although it is a bit older and a bit run down, it is not a terrible place by any means. The rooms were spacious and any problems were fixed right away. The location... More

I was asked to come down to the city with a friend and her mother to show them around, I suggested we stay here, at the Travel Inn. My last review for this place still stands true, nice and clean rooms, friendly staff, quiet (for the city). The only difference is that the parking is no longer free... but still... More

The room was clean and spacious and the rate for a 2 night stay during the holiday season was reasonable especially considering that the parking was only $20 a day(though it used to be free). This visit was the 3rd time we've stayed there and have not been disappointed yet. Would definitely stay there again. The location is perfect for... More

Wont recommend this place to anyone planning to put up in and around times square, A very average place though the charges were very high in compared to the condition of the room and services. The area was very noisy , the service was very very pathetic. Overall please avoid it.

This hotel is not a fancy hotel or fancy location, HOWEVER, if you are looking for a clean and safe place to stay for very reasonable rates, this will fit the bill. We got an internet rate of $105 per night, and paid $20 a day for parking. For two nights with taxes and fees it came to just under... More

Just got back from a two night stay and I guarantee we will be back. I was there for an event at the Javits Center. It about a 5 block walk or a quick taxi ride. Not a bad walk to Times Square either. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Yes there is a $20 charge for parking but... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
