My son and I are so grateful for this comfortable, convenient hotel!! We stayed there for three days to see Manhattan this week (March 2015) and I want to say this is a gem. In a city where reasonably priced rooms in a good location can be unappealing, the Travel Inn room we stayed in was generously sized, clean, well-cared... More

We arrived very early on Xmas eve after an all night flight from our last holiday destination Vancouver with no sleep, and even though we were told initially that our room would not be ready till much later by the front desk gentleman, a lovely young lady also behind the counter spoke to him and then he said we could... We got a double/double room in March and were very pleased with the experience. Very clean, quiet on the "pool side" (no noise issues from 42nd Street). Bathroom was fine. Parking is convenient and for $20 a day, a great amenity. If you are looking for inexpensive accomodations in a very convenient location, you should not go wrong here. Would... More

We visited Theater Row and stayed at this hotel. The location was great and having the parking garage right there for $20.00 was excellent. Great service and nice rooms at a fantastic price made the 3 day getaway very enjoyable. Stayed there for our New York annual trip and will continue to do the same next year.

I have stayed at the Travel Inn Hotel numerous times. I used to pick it because it had free parking, but unfortunately that is no longer the case. But besides that, it is still a nice hotel. The Travel Inn Hotel is in a convenient location on West 42nd, just blocks from the Javits Center. You can walk there from... More

Myself, my husband and our daughter stayed here for a full week in February half term. After reading the reviews I was slightly apprehensive, however, I was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful. The rooms were basic (but who spends time in your room when you're staying in NYC) and cleaned everyday!! We... More

The price was good. Only $20 for parking each night. The hotel could use some updates, it doesn't look modern at all and the bathrooms are very small. But it's in a good location. We were able to walk down the street for a lot of activities.

The hotel is simple and does seem to be slowly decaying, but is much cheaper than rivals. Beds are good, rooms are clean. Big TV too! The view from the hotel is stunning (the New York skyline) and it is positioned conveniently, a half hour walk from the Empire State Building and a <10 minutes walk to Madame Tussauds and... More

The location is superb. If you are driving in they have on site parking in a secure garage for only $20 a day which is amazing and the hotel is only a few blocks from the Lincoln Tunnel so it is very easy to access. The hotel is only a few blocks from subway stations and Times Square so you... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
