It was our second family stay at this great NYC hotel. We chose the Waldorf Astoria for our second visit to NYC because it's one of the only hotels in the city where smoking rooms are available. We opted for an upgrade to a room with a Boudoir, which was a great choice, since we had had a good rate... More

Everyone has heard of the Waldorf Astoria so when my wife and I had the opportunity to stay there we had to do it! The location was good and walking through the doors the entrance hall is fantastic! The room we had was very big, clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful whenever we asked for... More

This was our first stopover on a three week tour of the US, and we were there for 4 nights. We needed two rooms for our family of 5, and had got a great rate through Expedia. I happened to be in New York on business a few weeks before we were due to visit, and popped in to see... More

We had a great experience. When we arrived the staff upgraded us to a suite and gave us free drinks. Our room was surprisingly large for an old hotel. The staff was always willing to direct us in the right direction. The spa was wonderful and and accommodating.

Great, great service! nothing beats the service at this great hotel. Location is perfect...right smack in the city BUT without the noise of Fifth Av.....the bed is luxurious and the view from my room of Park Avenue was just perfect!

Stayed 2 nights, great rooms, clean and large, got rollaway bed for kids, good service from checking staff, lovely atmosphere, but have given average rating as expensive for what and where it is. - no swimming pool, expensive parking, concierge ok only if they thought you were worth it!! But worth staying here just to be able to say you have!... More

Our room was unbelievable. 2 double beds, a separate dressing area with 4 full length mirrors & the most beautiful bathroom- original from the 1930s. Deep tub beautiful sink & original tile. Dream come true. My daughter set up the mirror room as her own dance studio

We went to NY for a business trip for my husband. We were booked into the Waldorf which I've never stayed at. (husband has). The name Waldorf Astoria always conjured up top notch hotel for me but that was not the case. It wasn't that it was horrible its just that its very old and needs to be updated. The... More

Very friendly and welcoming staff in this beautiful hotel. The spa is perfect for relaxing and distressing. When the staff found out it was my husband's birthday they gave him drinks vouchers for the bar, a thoughtful touch.

Great deco experience, full of authentic old charm, with top class service. The beds are so comfortable, and the grade of linen is high (as you would expect). Even though the charm is fading in some areas, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again!
