It was a wonderful stay. The services exceeded our expectations. Every employee we interacted with was truly kind and helpful. The room was small and older, but nicely decorated, clean and beautiful. The lobby and common areas are beautiful and full of history. We love the location. It is easy to walk to Central Park, Broadway, many restaurants, Empire State... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Waldorf for a long weekend near Christmas. The hotel in general was great especially the lobby, restaurants and bars. I would say however that the rooms are not worth the money and could do with renovating. The location of the hotel is great and I would go back to try the restaurants again,... More

The Waldorf=Astoria is my favorite NYC hotel. I like the architecture and the history. I also like how they tell their story through displays and archive photos all over the hotel. I found the room very comfortable and if not huge a good size for such a large hotel.

We recently spent a weekend at the Waldorf Astoria - our room was in the tower section. We had a luxury room with king bed on a high floor. It was not billed as a suite but in fact we had a separate sitting room, very nice. The hotel lobby, bar, and so forth are all beautifully preserved from the... More

I'm an NYC local but a friend recently came for a visit and we decided to stay at a hotel in Manhattan. We picked the Waldorf because it's so historic and we expected a very high class experience. THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF. Everything feels old and a bit seedy and it's extremely overpriced. We paid $450 a night... More

We arrived at the hotel very early after an all night flight and were so pleased to be offered a room a few hours later! The employee who checked us in was wonderful and we really appreciated his warm hospitality! We will definitely return next year and will highly recommend the Waldorf to family and friends. Thank you!

We have just returned from a five night stay in the Waldorf Astoria NY. Initially I was very cautious about staying at this hotel again after a disappointing visit over a decade ago, where the emphasis was on being rather too shabby, than chic. However, with the choice not being mine, I found myself visiting again and I'm actually really... More

Had booked two rooms - one a double and the second for 3 people.. For the price they charged (over $250 per night for the double and $350 for the triple) the hotel sucks big time!! Our triple room which was supposed to have two large beds, actually was smaller in size than the double room.... and had two smaller... More

The restaurants are outrageously expensive. The rooms are small and worn. It's a very busy hotel that appears to cater to groups -- both business and tourists. I had to stay there for work. It is not someplace I would ever choose to stay. I had major issues with the heat in my room -- as did my colleagues. I... More

We stayed here for two nights. The front desk was friendly although check-in took quite a while. We stated it was our mini-moon and they gave us free Wi-Fi (gee, that was romantic). Hilton Honors was noted and we also got our bottled water at no charge. The good - location. Conveniently located in Midtown East on Park Avenue, just... More
