I stayed at the Waldorf with my mum to celebrate my birthday. The hotel is just fabulous in every-way, we had a suite which had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and was pure luxury! The food was amazing, my only criticism would be the breakfast, they don't tell you that it's a charge for each section, so our first breakfast cost... More

We had a one bedroom suite on the 20th floor which was amazing! Really large - the living room must have been more than 20' long with two large sofas, one of which was a very comfortable double sofa bed. The air con was great and much needed mid-July. The beds and bed linen were just right - I loved... More

So me and my hubby went to the vast nyc for a 4 day break from July 21st till 22nd. We stayed at the Waldorf and had the most amazing time!! The room was soo pretty and every detail was addressed to perfection. On one evening we dined in the peacock restaurant and were greeted by a charming young woman... More

While the public spaces are well maintained, the rooms are in dire need of new furnishings. Every piece of furniture in the room looked beyond worn out. Beds are only changed on your third night. If you have any allergies to products like Febreze be aware that a similar product seems to be sprayed on the bedding to freshen and... More

It's truly a remarkable piece of New York history in one of the best locations in the world! Including everything that is expected from the Waldorf Astoria, clean, large, and everyone was extremely accommodating. The location is in an awesome part of the city, u can walk wherever you want!

Even though I am just a "regular person", I was treated as if I were as important as any celebrity or head of state! The accommodations were luxurious, and all the special touches were wonderful. I had a spa treatment that was indescribably delicious. I know I would love to return and stay again and again.

The public areas are excellent - well maintained and opulent. Unfortunately, this hotel suffers from a serious case of 'big hat, no cattle'. The room we have been give would not even rate 3 stars. The extractor in the bathroom doesn't work and the room is both damp and mouldy. A hotel of this category should be ashamed to let... More

Having stayed several years ago at Waldorf we knew its history and excellent location. Unfortunately as part of a multi stop holiday across USA we stayed here twice for 4nights and then 2nights before flying back to UK and the hotel was simply not up to standard of its illustrious past and poor value. Our first stay our room had... More

We were trying to find the perfect occasion to stay at this classic hotel for years and after looking for a decent apartment for months (we were 9 people traveling to NYC) we did the math and the Waldorf made perfect sense not just when comparing it to a flat rental (with pluses like maid service, breakfast, etc) but also... I stayed last week for three nights at Waldorf Astoria New York. It was better than expected. I had a nice single room. It was large and well appointed. The hotel was absolutely location, location and location. The staff was helpful and courteous. The Waldorf imbues historical elegance.
