The Shoreham is the perfect hotel for people who want to be close to the action, but don't want to break the budget. The hotel is no different then a typical hotel anywhere else in the country, however by NYC standards it is leaps and bounds better than others in it's price range. The location is also 5 stars PLUS...You... More

location is five star! After that it is down hill. We opted to spend more for a suite in order to have a comfy place to sit and read or watch tv. Couch is not really a couch. It is a daybed...totally uncomfortable foe sitting. Other chair was a gimmick. A massaging wonder but not comfy to sit in and... More

The hotel was ok, and just ok really. The rooms are small, and the bedding; mattresses, sheets, duvet, are old and not very clean. The bathroom was small but sufficient. The location is so perfect for a quick weekend if you want to go to the park and Time Square. The staff was friendly, although the maid service did not... More

The hotel was so cute. The room and the bathroom were nice and clean. The bed was super comfy. The hotel staff was very friendly. I had breakfast at the hotel bar and it was really good. Great place to stay and great location.

First of all I would like to say that the location of this hotel was perfect. My girlfriend and I had made our way from rural Maine to nEw York to see Cabaret which was playing on 54th street, so it was an incredibly short walk. The shoreham is also within. Easy walking range of anything else you could imagine... More

A really hip hotel in a fantastic location. Walking distance from Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Grand Central Station, Fifth Avenue, and Central Park! Our room was lovely and clean with a really cool modern feel to it. The bathroom was a decent size too! The hotel offers a really great breakfast option in which you can go through the menu... More

What a find in NY.!! If you can snatch a room in this hotel at a good price don't think about it twice. BACKGROUND First things first, this is a Boutique Hotel in NY. What does that mean? That most rooms are small. You will find that this is the case for most hotels in Manhattan, even the ones that... More

If your looking for Prime position, you have it. If your looking for a clean and comfortable place this is it. As I read other reviews about the customer service I would like to disagree and say that everyone here was helpful. Everyone was pleasant and gave multiple suggestions and held the door constantly. Its a little pricey but if... More

Called twice before arriving requesting simple accommodations and was told no problem. Upon check-in was placed in a room that could not accommodate my request, even though I was assured twice on the phone during separate conversations that it was no problem. Had to switch rooms after one day which took an hour-and-a-half wait after the front desk told me... More

Dear CourtReporterNY, Thank you for your candid feedback. I sincerely apologize on behalf of my team for the service shortfalls throughout your stay. These lapses are certainly not indicative of our hotel. We pride ourselves on kind, proactive and reliable service; and for your stay to fall short of these standards is disappointing, to say the least. Please feel free... More

The only good thing about this hotel is location. The customer service is worse than crapy inn. Especially front desk host has no customer servixe attitude. There is one bellboy who does not offer any help. If you come to nyc for your trip, do not ever stay here. I would not even spend 10 dollars on hotel like this... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
