In a word, it's "GORGEOUS". All of them, entrance, lobby, bar, and room is perfectly designed. In addition to completely meeting our requests, the receptionist offered us room-upgrade without extra fee. Fortunately, we had experienced the beauty of ALCOVE suite. Philippe Starck's sophisticatedly furnished room was definitely comfortable. More over it's so quiet as I forgot I was in heart... More

The location of this hotel is incredible, just off 5th Avenue and walking distance to Central Park, Macy's and the Empire State Building. I went with a friend for a SATC style shopping weekend and could not of picked a better location! The hotel is very trendy and cool and was great sitting having a cocktail in the bar area... More

I booked this hotel while sitting in the airport prior to leaving for NYC, based on reviews online. Believe me, this spot does NOT disappoint! ROOMS: Our room was the cheapest available at booking. Upon check-in, we were given a free one-step upgrade. The room was small but well stocked. The iPads used to contact guest services were a GREAT... More

I recently stayed at the Royalton for the first time. Have loved the hotel for years, having had many drinks at their sleek lobby lounge. Wanting to impress a visiting relative, I booked us a room. We were not disappointed. Is the Royalton for everyone? No but I wish it was (read: it would be an incredible NYC experience to... More

The Royalton has always been my favorite hotel in NYC. Whether you are going just to have have drinks in the lobby bar or stay overnight, the Royalton never fails to deliver a great experience. The rooms are updated, modern and very comfortable. New York hotel rooms tend to be very small but the Royalton manages to do wonders with... More

I stayed here Jan. 15-17 with 2 girlfriends and we LOVED this hotel. It is 2 blocks from Broadway/Times Sq. and about a block from 5th avenue. Very centrally located. We arrived around 10:30 a.m. and our room was not ready. They also told us that something had happened and they were not able to give us the room with... More

Our third time staying at the Royalton for our annual Christmas trip to NYC. Neither of us have anything to complain about. Location is convenient. The front -end service is fine and friendly. The bar and restaurant are terrific, great quality food and cocktails. Room was comfortable, quiet, clean and as usual dark. That would be the one thing we... More

We selected the Royalton mainly because we have used various Morgan Group hotels in the past, for both business and pleasure, and always found them to be first class. On our first trip to NYC, the Royalton was no exception and fully lived up to our expectations. The rooms are quiet and well appointed, the service excellent and the location... More

I have stayed here a few times and the Royalton never disappoints! It is by far the most romantic, cozy, comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. It is the only place I have ever stayed in the city that I do not hear the hustle and bustle of the city outside my room. You go to sleep and wake... More

The Royalton has just been the perfect location for a NYE 2011 trip to New York and surprise engagement to my (now) fiancé. As well as being a very cool designer hotel with a great midtown location and facilities the staff exceeded expectations in every way. Before i give you a review of the hotel (excellent if you read no... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
