Amazing lobby. Very trendy. The food was excellent. The service top level. The rooms have really something special with candles & dark athmosphere. You feel like in a discotheque. The bathroom is also special. Try the bath tube which can be a shower or a large bath. more

Stayed at the Royalton for six nights in early May. All in all the hotel is great, and has a lovely contemporary feel to it. Yes, the hallways are fairly dark but not so much that you can't see where you're going! The public area is very trendy and seems to attract a number of passers-by for a cocktail or... more

The Royalton Hotel is situated in the Theater District/Times Square area of NYC. It is easy to find and the Valet parking is a snap (and also worth it, but it's salty at $52). Valet service took our bags to our room at no extra charge. Check in was the easiest of anywhere I've ever stayed and the staff was... more

Would highly recommend this hotel for those looking for the perfect New York experience! The actual hotel all in all is lovley. Nicely decorated and comfortable. We had a deluxe room with a fire (which you have to call room service to come up and light) The hotel is created with a certain ambiance in mind. This is achieved and... more

Location is excellent. Service is very friendly yet professional. I would rate the staff the best feature of this hotel. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Everybody smiles. Rooms are comfortable although a bit sad as their dominant colour is a sort of dirty-gray. Bed was excellent. The bathroom is ok, shower was fantastic, clean and spacious. I was on... more

I stayed at the Royalton for 3 nights on 18 April 2008. The hotel lived up to expectations and more; A contemporary, clean and beautifully designed hotel. The lobby was stunning and the dark lighting added to the ambience. We stayed in the Alcove suite (room 604) , thanks to a free upgrade. It was large, modern and a pleasure... more

Spent three nights in this hotel in April. First trip to the big apple and therefore a little wary and apprehensive. Nevertheless, we booked this place on a recommendation of a colleague as it is very well-placed. Situation - excellent - within walking distance of Rockefeller, Time Square, Fifth Avenue etc etc. Hotel ? - well the chaps on the... more

This was my 2nd stay at the Royalton. I came for a brief stay in late 2007 for business and a bit of shopping. I was coming to New York for one meeting but mostly vacation as my fiancé had never been to the USA before so definitely NYC is a must! I have been to New York City many... more

My wife and I recently visited New York to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The Royalton was one of the hotels that Virgin were doing package deals for from the UK and we booked it on the strength of the reviews on tripadvisor. I can safely say that we weren't disappointed with our stay. The hotel is certainly hip, so... more
