Nestled quietly almost diagonal to the Plaza in Central Park south, it is incredibly located and yet away from the tourist frenzy (what a few meters of distance can make). Impeccable attentive service with rooms that are comfortable but typical of NYC where it is a bit small but just enough. Going for a run? Central Park is in front!... More

I stayed at the Pierre three nights in October 2013 with my grown up son. As you might already know the location is perfect. Everything seems to be at a walking distance, the shops, Moma, Upper east side, Central park... The room: we had a city view room which was really nice but for the size. Both the room and... More

I spent two wonderful nights at the Pierre in New York. I have stayed at many of the leading hotels in Manhattan and I can safely stay that the Pierre is the best. Every little detail has been thought about and I look forward to my next stay shortly.

This was out third stay at the Pierre. Our previous two stays were exceptional, as is evident from my glowing reviews. As a matter of fact all our other hotels stays are inevitably followed with "this is lovely but it's not the Pierre". So when planning a night in the city for a special occasion I didn't hesitate which hotel... More

The Pierre is in an unbeatable location, the service is over the top impressive and the beds/linens/toiletries are amazing. Note that if you really like the bath products, you can't buy them from Molton Brown because the scent is formulated just for The Pierre. So if anyone wants to send me some of those bars of soap, let me know!... More

I just spoke with Antonietta Tardugno, the manager in Reservations. She was very help and went above and beyond the call of duty and provided excellent service. She was flexible, understanding and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel.

What a hotel!!. The Pierre made our anniversary stay in New York fabulous. The only problem was that the hotel was so nice that we never wanted to leave it. We had to drag ourselves out to enjoy the sights and sounds of New York City. The hotel has luxury written all over it. Every single person who works there... More

It was my second visit to new York. Rooms are not that great. Food was good but the Disappointing part was the service. They told 1 hour to get my order to my room. Thought they apologised for the same. it is centrally located. Overall experience was average.

Stayed at the Pierre with my husband for three nights and had a wonderful time! The rooms are small but they have everything you need; the restaurants are excellent; the service is impeccable - Jason, the concierge is extraordinary!!!

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
