Excellent hotel with amazingly good staff. Right opposite Cental Park. Easy to travel to midtown. I stayed here for 5 nights in October and loved the place. Only regret was my room package had drink vouchers which i realised only when i saw the bill on check-out. Staff never informed or offered the vouchers. But its a small issue and... More

Being in a busy city like New York where everyone is always on the run always makes anyone feel that he must be in a hurry too. Amazingly, although The Pierre is quite big, the feeling you get as soon as you step in - back from the buzzling streets or even from an evening stroll - is that you... More

Always my favourite in nyc. Great location. Beautiful room and amazing employees. From check in to concierge it's always a pleasure. Anytime you are I'm New York give it a try. Worth every penny. Easy access to the park for early morning run. Great view. Very good breakfast in hotel restaurant and great appero in the bar in the evening.

Planning an engagement weekend as the one proposing can be stressful. Everything is supposed to go according to plan and I personally had high expectations. The Pierre Hotel made our weekend a fairy tale. It was absolutely the best place either one of us have ever stayed. We were given an upgrade to what we felt was the most spectacular... More

Where to begin! We chose the Pierre for our 6 day stay during which we were married in the City. From our arrival the staff were brilliant. Each person we came into contact with was polite, friendly and very helpful. The hotel exterior, lobby and reception areas were warmly decorated for the festive season. Somehow the staff knew of our... More

Stayed a night in NYC recently at the Pierre. While the hotel has undoubtedly 'old school' charm and 'old school' service, including assisted elevator service, it appears a bit outdated to me. The Lobby of the hotel is nice and rich, the rooms are very comfortable albeit that the A/C was (very) loud. The bath (Superior Room) was deep yet... More

I have been a huge fan of the Pierre in the past...for many years it was THE place for me to stay in New York....I LOVE the history, the old world charm, the grace and the elegance...but I fear it is losing some of the touches that made it shine above the other high end properties in New York. Although... More

When I chose the Pierre I was trying to decide between this one and the St Regis, I'm actually quite happy I chose the Pierre! Location is top notch, just around the corner from Barney's and two blocks away from Tiffany's. The rooms are lovely, they're not as small as some reviews make them sound, I think they actually a... Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
