The room needed attention. Bed was terrible. Ice machine too close to room. Plumbing too loud. Furniture needs cleaning. Stains on the upholstery. Toilet area too small. Manager not helpful with our concerns. Need I say more......

Dear xxxxxxxx653, Thank you so much for taking the time to give us your valuable feedback. Your comments are of paramount concern to me. I'm terribly sorry that the room was not up to our high standards and especially disappointed that the manager wasn't helpful in resolving your issues. I'd like the opportunity to speak with you, understand the issues... More

We drove into the City to shop, see a play, have dinner, stay the night and return home the following day. We arrived early to allow for all of our planned activities. As soon as we pulled up to the curb in front of the hotel we were greeted by the Doorman who promptly issued a claim check for our... More

This was the third time in the past few years that I have stayed here. I love this hotel as it is an elegant, quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of NYC. The staff are extremely helpful and went out of their way for every request and question we had. I love the spacious rooms, great bathrooms and fabulous... More

We stayed at the Michelangelo for a theater trip to NYC. It is very conveniently located near Broadway theaters and Rock Center. Our junior suite was very comfortable, with plenty of room and very quiet. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. There is a complimentary breakfast in the morning but not very many tables, so it helps to be... More

Great location, very kind staff and a well decorated room, with comfortable space for two people and luggage. Reception staff was very helpful, my room was silent and the hotel is walking distance from Broadway theaters, 5th ave and Central Park. Breakfast is fair enough, but few sitting spots. Sometimes you simply do not have available tables. But considering breakfast... More

We've being going to NY for theater for years and always stay at the Michelangelo. The staff is amazingly stabile and they remember us from year-to-year. If you can get one of the upgraded rooms, they are positively spacious by NY standards. A great mid-town location if you want to do theater ... close but not in the thick of... More

From start to finish a fantastic stay. We arrived late on a Sunday evening and was greeted by very friendly staff and checked in by a very friendly receptionist. The room was very comfortable - a corner suite (432 I Think) lots of home comforts a great bathroom complete with TV. The Bed was probably the most comfortable we have... More

We stayed at two hotels in New York this time and Michelangelo is a sure winner. It is elegant (little old, but elegant), everything is so clean, it is perfectly located just middle way between Time Square and Central Park. The staff there is so friendly and helpful. The lobby bar is so nice. One thing which is very important... More

The Michelangelo consistently delivers in comfort and amenities. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, staff are brilliant and location couldn't be better for access to midtown Manhattan businesses, restaurants and entertainment venues. A short walk to Central Park, and easy access to subway and taxis makes the rest of the City close by.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful. We stayed there for eight nights and were fortunate to be ungraded to a junior suite. Even the standard rooms are much larger than many NYC hotel rooms and the location could not be beat. It is located at 51st and 7th Avenue. It was convenient to three different subway lines and was an easy... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
