We have been staying here for 6 years, and this boutique hotel keeps getting even better. The roooms are very quiet & comfortable. The staff uniformly pleasant, helpful, and willing to put in that extra effort. Although there is no restaurant, the bar serves the best bar food in the world. When traveling we almost always have our primary meal... More

The hotel has excellent customer service. We left our jewelry in the safe and the hotel security found it, inventoried the pieces and FedX to us within 2 days. The air conditioner wasn't working properly so they moved us to a bigger suite for the last night. This was after they sent an engineer to try and resolve the issue.... More

Been to this Hotel on a number of occasions and always found the service and the room fabulous. On this particular occasion the room, which was an upgrade to executive suite, had stains on the carpet and the air conditioning did not work in the bedroom. A little disappointed about that but the people there were fabulous as usual!

I've walked by this place many times when I worked around the corner and never gave it any though. When I left the Northeast, and came back to NYC for work, I was put up at The Michelangelo for a week. The lobby was small but very nice, but the room...WOW. The room was larger than your average NYC hotel... More

AC did not work in the bedroom and carpet had a good amount of stains. We've stayed at this hotel on many occasions and have considered it as a 5 star hotel. The reason for the lower rating this time was due to the room we stayed in - it was below average and was an executive suite no less.... More

When you book a room in midtown Manhattan, you know you are going to pay a lot but you never really know what to expect when you get there... Our expectations were exceeded from the minute we walked into the lobby -- a quiet and beautiful oasis in the middle of Midtown! The service was friendly and professional. The King... More

This was our second visit to the hotel and the service, concierge knowledge and location are wonderful. Large and clean room. The only drawback was the small restaurant doesn't open until 8:00 AM, so those of us that need our caffeine must either wait or pay $$$ for room service. However as numerous Starbucks surround the hotel, a caffeine fix... More

This is my first visit at this hotel. At first, I was looking at the Marriott in Times Square but did not want something that busy. The hotel itself is nice. Once there, you are greeted by a very nice staff/valet person. It is a nice quiet reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Times Square. The location is close... More

Great hotel that is centrally located and has reasonable weekend rates. The service was excellent, except for the morning breakfast. The included breakfast is served in a small dungeon-like room in the basement and there are not enough tables to handle the morning crowd. Many people were forced to stand and eat. We elected to eat in the lobby restaurant... More

We were surprised at how large the rooms were for a hotel in Manhattan. We were upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival and the rooms were very clean and the staff were exceptionally nice. Service was excellent.

    Staying in Midtown

    Neighborhood Profile
    Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
