It has been some time since we last stayed here but it is not the same. The staff was excellent with what they had to work with but it is apparent that a big chain hotel has decided to cut cost on something that once was special and unique. Please, please know that I usually do not give bad reviews... More

This hotel far exceeds any expectations. Yes, the location is fantastic! Parking, Times Square, theater district, Central Park, literally a few minutes walk in any direction. Entering a tastefully decorated lobby and welcoming staff was a great way to start. Our suite was not only beautiful but immaculately clean as well. The bed and pillows were so comfortable it's as... I recently stayed at The Michelangelo and was very pleased with the high quality of service as well as the amazing location. When I entered my room I was very impressed with the size and beauty of the space. The room was extremely clean and very welcoming. I was also extremely satisfied with the king sized bed, it was very... More

This hotel is near it all and has great beds, rooms, and above all service. My wife and I had to leave early and they did not charge us for the final day even though we checked out late and were supposed to stay another night. In today's day of a hotel on every corner it is the small things... More

Boutique hotel with great location midtown within walking distance of theater district, Central Park, shopping and midtown business locations; very reasonable rates; large incredibly comfortable and quiet (!) rooms. Italian hotel with exacting luxury standards demanded by discerning European travelers (e.g, comfortable beds, damask and silk bed linens and draperies, beautiful decor, nice toiletries, and excellent personal service). Limited excellent... More

Have stayed at many hotels in Theater District, but The Michelangelo was perfect for us. It's location is central and easy walking to Radio City Music Hall, to most of the theaters, and restaurants in the area. The staff is courteous and helpful throughout the stay. The stay here is comfortable and secure, from check-in to check-out. The rooms are... More

I organized a Key Opinion Leader meeting at the Michelangelo for the second week of December. Despite this being the busiest period of the year, the staff were fully attentive and provided impecable service in supporting my meeting. All of my guests were completely satisfied with the rooms, the service and the conference center. I would highly recommend the hotel... More

I traveled many years ago for business and remembered this hotel as being wonderful. I finally had the chance to return to NYC for fun and my memories were correct! From the moment I booked our trip I received outstanding service! The reservations and concierge staff went out of their way to make sure our needs were met. I had... More

The Michelangelo Hotel is a great boutique hotel with an excellent location. The staff treat you like family and have a sincere interest in your comfort. I truly felt at home while I stayed there. However, I will be limiting my travels to NYC as their current Mayor is making the city less safe with each day.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
