We had booked 2 hotels for our honeymoon stay in New York, a slightly cheaper hotel near grand central and a more expensive hotel [The Michelangelo] where we paid for suite. The hotel was very nice with a great lobby and the room we had (they upgraded us to a slightly larger suite) was great, really good size for New... More

Close to Times Square, theatre district, and subways to anywhere else. Elegant rooms and even includes breakfast pastries. I usually visit NYC from the Midwest twice a year and this is always my first choice.

Celebrating our 50th anniversary. First time in NYC in many years. Couldn't have been more pleased with The Michelangelo. Elegant hotel. Polite, friendly, helpful staff. Fabulous room. Extremely convenient, within walking distance of Times Square, Theater District, Rock Center, etc. Great morning pastries available for guests. We hope to return some day.

The location was perfect to shopping and theaters. The room was quite large with a table and 2 chairs, and king size bed- unusual for NYC. The bathroom was also nice size with 2 marble vanity areas. The room was very quiet, no street noise. The lobby area was spacious and the lobby bar had great staff and options for... More

We always stay in this hotel when we're in Manhattan - and have made plans that focus around using this hotel. The location and ambience are perfect - and you feel like you're in a European city when you're in this hotel. The service is excellent, and even the standard rooms are very large for Manhattan. It's within walking distance... More

Overall, the Michelangelo staff is wonderful, courteous and helpful. Recently stayed there for several days on business. The accommodations are a tad outdated, but unique, very nice and clean. The male bartender was probably the most negative person we encountered working at the hotel, and he was not too bad. The food is excellent and the catering staff was wonderful.... More

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. This is, by far, one of the best hotels we have every had the opportunity to stay. Immaculate, beautiful, incredible staff, beautiful rooms, located conveniently to everything are words that I would describe this hotel. In addition, you will find very high-tech exercise equipment in the workout area. I would especially... More

If you want to be in the heart of the Theatre District & stay at an elegant Classic Italian Hotel that is virtually sound proof from the street noise ~ this is the place! No hustle & bustle ~ just a quiet elegant hotel. On my last visit I had a problem with a matress that was to soft. This... More

Our family enjoyed our stay during our first ever trip to NYC. Rooms were clean and decently sized. Very close to all the action in Times Square and Broadway. Only complaint is that the ice machine on our floor did not work during our stay.
