Location, location, location. Everything you ever wanted, if you were going to stay in NYC for a couple of days, is at the Michelangelo Hotel. We celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary on January 21, and wanted to be in walking distance of the theater district, restaurants that we enjoyed and frequented in the past. We had all of that and... More

The Michelangelo is a lovely hotel. The rooms are very clean and larger than the average in NYC, the decor beautiful, the sheets and bed very comfortable and the shower head in the spacious bath worth getting up for in the morning. The customer service was impeccable. I worked with Augustine, the Reservations Manager, to book the room and he... More

Spent two nights, while on a business trip. The location was very convenient. The lobby was large, with a very active bar. Room was on the 3rd floor across from elevator, which was noisy. We were up graded to a junior suite which was large. I found the decor to be dated, very 80s back lacquer and gray velvet.maybe some of... More

I had a wonderful visit to the Michelangelo. I was attending a conference nearby and it was in the perfect location (if you want great accommodations near Time Square, this hotel can't be beat). The rooms were very comfortable as were the beds, which had probably the softest sheets I've ever slept on. The staff was incredibly friendly as well.... More

We often visit NYC for both buisness and pleasure. This was probably our 8th time at the Michelangelo Hotel in NYC. It is always the Best of everything. And to top it off the staff is exceptionally cordial and friendly.

Very convenient option for exploring Manhattan – location is close to many NY’s highlights and close to the subway station. That makes it a great base for your stay. After long-hours walk you will recharge your batteries on amazingly comfy bed! The room is of very good size and good appointed (sofa chair, desk, wardrobe & chest of drawers, large... More

This hotel is situated in a very convenient area of NYC. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel and will make it my "go to" hotel in the city. The rooms are large and their winter weekend specials upgrade your room and even include breakfast! Love it here!

We stay at the Michelangelo almost exclusively during our visits to NYC and have been doing so for more than 15 years. My family of three recently spent five days in a double king studio room which provides plenty of room for a small family. The room is always impeccably clean, the service meets the highest standards and the room... More

The Michelangelo Hotel is a well-appointed gem of a hotel in mid-town Manhattan. The rooms are good-sized and tastefully furnished, with comfortable beds and chairs. The wi-fi internet access is fast and reliable. The lobby bar is a great place to unwind after a busy day, and most of all, the staff are helpful and friendly!

Perfect hotel, centrally located, great service, beautifully big rooms, a rare find in Manhattan. Love to stay there with family and freinds. Front desk staff is pleasant and welcoming. I never review on trip advisor but I figured this hotel deserves it!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
