This was our third stay at the Michelangelo and we were not disappointed! The service and room once again exceeded our expectations. What we loved the most was that it was truly like an oasis in the middle of a very busy city. It is very quite and peaceful and the staff was magnificent. Each and every employee at the... More

A wonderful stay at a fantastic boutique hotel in NYC. It's very quit despite being on the edge of Times Square. It is close to all theaters and wonderful restaurants. As we arrived, Norma informed us that we would be upgraded to a suite. It was the nicest room my wife and I have ever stayed. The staff are amazingly... More

I stayed at the Michelangleo for a financial conference in NYC. It’s location is fantastic. It is blocks from most of the Investment Banks, Times Square and hundreds of great restaurants. It is also only a short walk to Central Park. The rooms were surprisingly large for a NYC hotel. They are very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also... More

So glad I booked this hotel. We were so impressed when we walked through the door to see the beautiful decor and layout. I had asked for a room away from the elevators having read comments on trip advisor. Consequently our room was lovely and quiet ( apart from the air con which was a bit noisy!!). The hotel is... I went down to NYC to see friends, plays, and museums. I wanted a comfortable room that I would enjoy going back to and a convenient location. The Michelangelo was perfect for my needs. Its location, at 51st and 7th, let me walk to three Broadway plays and take a quick subway ride to Lincoln Center for the fourth. It's... More

Everything about this trip was perfect. We arrived early and the gentleman at the front desk helped us pre-register and stored our bags for us. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Our room was comfortable, clean and huge! It was also the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in!

Arriving at the Michelangelo always starts our annual trip to New York City on a positive note. June welcomes us back at the front desk and makes sure we have a spacious room. If Henry is at the front door, we get big smiles and a hug. (Even when Henry is off shift, we get welcoming smiles). Like coming home... More

My stay was fantastic. I was met by an extremely pleasant front desk associate named June who made me feel welcome from the start. The support staff all around were warm and helpful all around and my room was serviced immaculately by Frema from housekeeping. Rooms are large and well appointed. The location cannot be beat with easy subway access... More

What a great find for our Easter weekend. Centrally located, safe and an European air. The rooms are spacious and did I mention the great mid-Manhatten location. The breakfast room is stark but the coffee and croissants make up for it..You will not be disappointed

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
