After spending hours online checking out just about every hotel in NYC to pick where to stay, including Platinum Fine Hotels, but prices were overwhelming, we got the best deal for the Michelangelo, considered a Preferred Hotel with some amenities from Amex. It was the best decision we couild have ever made!! Staff, Marco, Pietro, Scott, June and Doorman Chris... More

We celebrated a special wedding anniversary at the Michelangelo Hotel this weekend and were thrilled with our stay. We stayed in an gorgeous, cozy suite that added to our celebratory mood. The Michelangelo is a warm, friendly, intimate hotel within walking distance of not only Midtown but also, the Upper West Side. The staff, including doorman, bellman, front desk, reservations,... What a nice place with great taste for atmosphere, friendliness and great customer service. If you look for a place where you can feel home in "big apple" this is the place to be. Everything is very personal and this at all times from your reception to your check out. The hotel has a very warm, but not old fashioned... More

The Michelangelo Hotel is stunning with very spacious rooms, bathrooms and closets. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. This is always the hotel we stay in when my family visits NYC. It is very comfortable for our family stay.

Hotel was great. Rooms comfortable and service was the best. machines in the fitness center top rate. Breakfast left something to be desired though...fruit missing and really not healthy...lots of pastries .. Would be better to offer fruit, yogurt and hard boiled eggs like other hotels who offer free breakfast.

My suite at the Michelangelo was perfect! Every encounter with staff was perfect. The suite was gorgeous. I loved the spacious bathrooms, everything was perfect. The hotel is centrally located, making it a perfect choice for a getaway in Manhattan. This is one of my favorite hotels!

The location is terrific-you can walk to everything. Broadway is just an avenue away. Lots of very good restaurants in the area. Close enough to museums and Rockefeller Center. The rooms are also large for NYC, the bed is comfortable, flat screen TV with lots of channels. They offer a complimentary continental breakfast. Light, but enough to get you started... More

I was there for 3 nights, and I really liked it, the location, the service, the rooms were perfect. My room attendant, Carmen, was a fantastic person, gentle and always aware of my needs. I'm looking forward for my next visit to New York, to stay again in this fabulous hotel

We are enjoying another several night stay at the Hotel Michelangelo. We came here to see several Broadway plays. As I have mentioned before, this hotel is located very conveniently to the theater district. This time, however, I have to mention the extraordinary service we have received from one of their servers at the hotel's Lobby Lounge. We have breakfast... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
