We loved this hotel. We paid under $200 a night and couldn't be happier with our choice. The location - literally 2 blocks from Times Square yet very quiet ! The view- we had a view of nothing but a brick wall but we had the cheapest room available. The view was not important to us. The room was super... More

Room was super tiny but considering it was less than $200 a night and just off Times Square, I can't really complain. Staff was friendly and everything was clean. A/C unit was super loud, but it did keep the room cool. Great location for the price!!

The service and location were excellent. We took a small room, as we had not intended to spend any time in it. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. The complementary coffee was excellent.

My husband and I loved staying at the Mansfield during our recent trip to New York City. It was conveniently located to many New York attractions. It is a small hotel, but nicely decorated and well furnished with all the necessary amenities. Pleasant stay! We loved it.

You cannot beat the location of this boutique hotel. Two blocks from Times Square. Walking distance from Empire State Building, Grand Central, and more. We found the staff friendly and helpful. The decor and ambiance are defiantly boutique, which I appreciate. The bar is great, try the truffle popcorn! The free lattes in the lobby are a nice touch as... More

The bathroom is so small the wash basin is on the outside. The room is very dark. If you want to work in the room, like I did, you will find it is almost impossible to see properly with the very dim table lamp. The air conditioner was really noisy too. I was told they are all like that because... More

Just come back from a week stay it was our first time in New York. After reading some the review me and my boyfriend loved the hotel and the location it was situated in. The rooms and bathroom was bigger than expected after reading review. The girls on the desk was so helpful in helping my sort my hair straighter... More

Fantastic facility. Rooms were large in comparison with other NYC hotels I've stayed in. Staff were fantastic and very helpful from check in to check out. Beds were extremely comfortable and the water pressure in the bathroom was great (again have had iffy-shower experiences at other NYC hotels) Would absolutely recommend staying here for your trip and I will definitely... On a recent business trip to NYC stayed at teh Mansfield as the location was close to everything (just a few blocks to Times Square, shopping, the NYC Liberary and parks. The vintage quality gave the whole place a warm feeling of someplace that had been there a long time and will be there long after your visit is done.... More

Stayed here for 3 nights for our wedding anniversary. Lovely hotel with loads of character. We stayed in room 1002 first. I don't know if I was sensitive to the noise but we asked to be moved. Room 1111 was really good. Good size and not too noisey for being in the centre of new york. Staff were very friendly... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
