The Lombardy is an apartment hotel in midtown Manhattan which is so much more comfortable than the small spaces you typically get. We have gotten either one or two rooms, depending on what's available, and the rooms are spacious. There is always a small kitchen, very helpful if you want snacks or breakfast in your room. The hotel has an... More

Good central location, helpful and friendly staff. We had an apartment, the apartments are a really good size with lots of storage space, a small kitchen and bathroom and a large living area. Perfect for a quiet nights sleep away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square but in a very central location and a short walk to Central... More

We stayed here for 2 weeks at Christmas and new years 2014 with our 2 teenage daughters. Rooms was fantastic (901)with kitchen ,large master bedroom and 2 bathrooms. The staff was a little aloof at 1st but after a few days they warmed to us. Great position.

Great location and room was huge. My family stayed here in December and we had 4 rooms. The rooms are all different but very comfortable and make the stay instantly relaxing. Staff were very friendly and love the coffee shop attached.

The Lombardy never disappoints! The staff is friendly, the rooms spacious and it's like stepping into the past that was elegant and accommodating. No two rooms are alike and the suites are huge. We have stayed her for over twenty years.

I have mixed feelings about our stay. The staff at the front desk was very friendly at check in. We asked for a roll away and it was at our room within minutes. No complaints about them. Wifi was also free. I will say that the bedroom portion of our room was huge. New York hotel rooms tend to be... More

This has become a reliable location for an annual NYC weekend stay. Hotels in this neighborhood are expensive but in that relative scale this place is reasonable, and a good value. Rooms are large; suites are huge. Each room is unique and nicely furnished. Staff is nice and helpful. A genuine boutique hotel.

We were not expecting our 2 night stay to feel so "homey " This is not your typical hotel room in Manhattan with the entrance , bathroom & bed all within arms length of each other! We had large apartment with a kitchen, full bathroom, huge living , two large TVs, dressing room and large bedroom! It is like being... More

Staying at the Lombardy was a great surprise. The good things were the location, the size and the price. We were a family of 5 sharing a two room family suite. All beds in our room leaving lots of common space in the other room. Each unit is done up by the respective owner. There was even a complementary coffee/croissant... More

This place was recommended to us by our neighbors. They were originally from New York and travel to New York often. We typically stay when visiting NY at hotels in the center of Manhattan. The Lombardy is on 56th street (Upper East Side) so a bit of a walk to say Times Square...but the walks in Manhattan go by real... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
