I stayed at the Lombardy because I was on a 6-night business trip and I thought an apartment would be more comfortable. In many ways, it was. I had a 1BR apartment that had a small kitchen. It was nice to have a small fridge and microwave, and wifi was complimentary. But the hotel does lack some amenities of a... More

Hello hbkim62. On behalf of the staff of The Lombardy, we wish to thank you for choosing to stay with us. We're happy to learn you were happy with most aspects of your accommodations, and we can't be more apologetic we missed the mark on others. If we can please clarify, delivery of newspapers to the rooms each morning is... More

My parents rented an apartment at "The Lombardy" and invited us to travel with them. I loved the experience. I love NYC, and the staff is very nice. The apartments ( we stayed in 2 different ones) were SUPER nice and well equipped. All good.

Hello, and thank you very much for choosing The Lombardy. We are very delighted you and your parents enjoyed your stay with us. Our staff's #1 priority is our guests. While it is true no one apartment is decorated the same as the other, it's this unique aspect that people love so much about us. We hope to welcome you... More

I've stayed numerous times at this property and really enjoy it's mid town location. It has an old world charm that's unique with today's hotels. Each room is decorated differently and well appointed. Nothing really fancy, just very clean and dependable.

Good morning, bengillikin. Thank you very much for continued patronage at The Lombardy. We are pleased to learn our rooms and suites meet your needs when visiting New York City. It is unfortunate a lower floor poses a risk for traffic noise, but please rest assured the bedroom windows are double-paned to reduce that inconvenience. We look forward to seeing... More

I have visited the Lombardy multiple times and I think one of my favorite qualities about it is each suite is individually owned, meaning no two rooms are alike. They are also very great in size. Every time I've stayed here I have had a magnificent view and great experience. The staff were always friendly and very welcoming. I love... More

great location, friendly staff, large under furnished and slightly dark/dank room. looking out over garbage strewn building at rear of hotel. if you looked around our room, the baseboards were dusty, the back of the bathroom door looks like it hasnt been dusted in months, there is soot seeping in some corroded window frames. it has a feeling of benign... Hello AkaFlaco. We are truly sorry your experience at our hotel missed the mark we aim for when it comes to accommodating our guests. We appreciate reviews like yours so that we may improve upon the quality of housekeeping and maintenance service we provide; and because each room and suite we rent out is individually owned and decorated, constructive criticism... Great location, walking distance to most attractions. Check out the larger suites if travelling with family. I had a room suitable for single or couple, feels spacious with limited kitchen. Plenty of convenience stores around to pick up essentials which is handy given tea/coffee is not supplied. My bathroom was rather small for two but fine for one. Morning coffee... More

Hotel is very clean, best location between Lexington and Park close to all the retail, art activities, lots of coffee shops around and restaurants. Very helpful hotel staff. Standard double room very comfortable and quite large. Didn't try the hotel coffee and breakfast which you can find right next door to the hotel entrance. Only problem was the bed mattress... More

The Lombardy is an interesting place. Very spacious room for NYC including a little closet kitchen w fridge, microwave, toaster over and a walk-in closet. Beautiful lobby and the voucher for coffee and muffin at the attached 9th street Espresso was perfect for a business traveler who just wants some food to take to the office. My room was quiet... My family has been staying at this hotel for the last 30+ years. My uncle, at one point, "owned" one of the rooms. It is conveniently located in the city which is why we always choose to stay here. The staff is top notch, and willing to help in any way. We did have to sign a "waiver" when we... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
