First I'll state that I do work in hotel operations in Nevada. I am not just trying to whine to get free things. I have stayed in other hotels in New York & never had a bad thing to say. For this hotel I was not only disappointed, I felt unsafe. The front desk agents not only issued other people... More

We booked this hotel for our anniversary trip! It was wonderful. The room was a good size and had a mini-kitchenette. The location is close to Times Square and most of the Broadway theatres, but also close to the quieter streets of Hell's Kitchen. The staff was extremely helpful and smiling whenever we saw them. Two small issues to be... More

We chose this hotel due its great location being a couple of blocks from Times Square/Broadway etc (family of 4) We flew up from Tampa and found the reception staff to be professional, but not too welcoming even though we were the only ones checking in, perhaps the cries of our teething 18 month old made trhem anxious. I had... More

Great location. Unfortunately room was not cleaned properly. Lots of items left under the beds from previous guests!!. Had to request it to be cleaned 3 times before it was finally done. Would not be rushing back there.

We had a great stay at the Belvedere - we used Hotwire and got a good price for NYC. The rooms were clean and quiet and the doorman was very helpful getting a cab for us. We stayed one night before a cruise out of the Manhattan port and it was perfect. Also easy walking distance to many attractions, including... More

Good location to major attractions in NYC...stayed 7 nights...water pressure in tub was EXTREMELY low. Took 3 days for maintenance to fix..took over 20 minutes each night to get enough water for a bath...with 4 women in the room, it was a challenge each night for all to get bathed. Had to call 1st night for bath soap, never enough... More

Room was smaller then i expected however compared to other New York hotels it was pretty reasonable and we had 2 adults 2 small kids (4yo/6yo)in there and it still worked well. Location was right next to Time Square without the noise, gym facilities were good, running machines, small weights section. Heaps of restaurants around, room service was phone in... More

Me and my daughters stayed at the Belvedere for seven nights 10th to 17th June 2015.The service was very good and the staff pleasant and friendly. They were extremely hard working and nothing was too much trouble if you asked for help or directions to various sights or needed information on tours and amenities. They were also generally happy and... More

Was there for 4 nights in June 2015. Good sized room, we booked the Executive King. It was clean and quiet. 2 blocks to subway & close to theater district. Would definitely stay there again. There were also a number of good restaurants, all within walking distance of hotel that we enjoyed.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
