We only stayed 1 night for a quick trip to NYC for a show. Room was very clean and actually bigger than we expected in the city. We would stay here again! The shower has a dual showerhead and very spacious.

The staff were professional and attentive. The accommodations were great, especially for the price. Looked and smelled clean. One of the best parts was that it is located on a quiet street right in the heart of the theater district. Hard to believe the hustle and bustle was only a half block down and all around. Short walk to Times... More

Hotel is a little off the beaten track but still within easy walking distance to Times Square and approx 10 mins from 5th avenue. Rooms - beds, are very comfortable and roomy pillows were excellent. Bathroom, quite snub but clean towels every day and shower is great with lots of hot water. TV has lots of channels but not all... More

Full disclosure: I did purchase my night here through hotwire, which sometimes means you get stuck in the less desirable rooms a hotel might offer. Location: Fabulous. Front Desk: Very friendly. Room: Ugh, dingy does not even begin to describe this room. It might have been clean, but I honestly couldn't tell because everything in the room was so old... More

The belvedere is an amazing hotel! Right by times square but away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. Staff are friendly and the rooms are left gleaming every day! Would definitely go back here when I visit NYC again. Only bugbear is that there isn't a shop in there anymore.

To be honest with my review here, we only used it to crash. We didn't eat or drink at The Belvedere but this was only because we left early and came back late every day for 5 days and with so much. Choice right outside, we wanted to explore Manhattan. We paid the upgrade to the Penthouse floor on 17.... More

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Belvedere. It is the perfect location for sightseeing. We utilized the metro throughout our entire visit and you can't beat it's location to the E and 1 line which basically go everywhere. The staff tried to be helpful (and they were) except they didn't return my license at check in and I almost left... More

We go to NYC almost every year for Christmas season. We have stayed in MANY different hotels, this was our favorite. It has an EXCELLENT location and even though it is in the center of things, it remains relatively quiet. Loved the old building. People were friendly and we had no problems whatsoever. I won't stay in a hotel unless... More

We stayed there recently. We checked in very late, because of flight delays, but we were still given great customer service. The lady on desk very helpful and friendly and after a 28 hour day that is exactly what we needed. She arranged for some food to be bought up and quickly pointed out things we might need, doctors, chemists,... More

I had to take a business trip to NYC and thought I would stay at a "boutique NYC hotel" to get a little flavor of the city. The flavor I got was distasteful. The service of the employees in the downstairs was less than satisfactory - none of the valets were outside when I arrived. I had to get the... More
