This is the best Hotel we have stayed in over 10 years of trips to NYC, location, staff, safety and cleanleness. It was within 4 blocks to Bus depot for travel to Woodbury common or Jersey gardens for shopping. There is a ticket office 1 block away for all attractions. Plenty of good restaurants close by especially Patzeria next door.... More

We found the hotel clean and comfortable and the hotel staff were pleasant. The rooms were basic and reasonably sized. The hotel was in a convenient location and close to most of the attractions especially Times square and Broadway. There were also numerous restaurants near by and the ones that we tried were very good.

This hotel is well located on W48th Street corner to 8th Ave. Close to Times Square and shops on 5th Ave. Hotel Lobby is nice but the room we got was quite old and rather small, especially the bathroom. We had a small fridge in the room which was nice but remember unfortunately more the very noisy AC. On top... More

The Belvedere is a good, clean, simple hotel. Rooms are a bit small, but have a small fridge, sink, microwave oven besides the usal amenities found in rooms. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Elevators are small and really slow, but that would be the only real downside. There are two located centrally and 1 on each side of... More

The good point is the situation of the hotel. Just a few blocks away from Broadway. A bit noisy however. AC is humming all the time, even off!! Elevators a very slow and traffix jams are expected every morning after breakfast hours!! The restauration is on ground floor but without any widow on the City, that's too bad. Decoration is... More

First of all, the picture did not correspond with the larger room we booked. Completely different room was given to us, with a noisy window AC unit. There was a gap in the window seal, and in the -22F winter, we could not keep the room warm. When we called the reception, they told us to put one of our... More

Hotel is in a great location (but then so are the other 1000 in the area). Within walking distance to many famous places. The family and friends Italian restaurant about 20 meters from the hotel is fabulous - highly recommend eating here. Most reception staff are not friendly to Australians at all -service could improve there. Room was average. No... More

I was nervous about staying here after reading about the dingy air con, slow lifts, and staff attitude but we had no problems whatsoever. The location is in Times Square which I found to be slightly expensive but prime in nearby attractions. Would definitely stay again.

Friendly helpful staff, great location, within walking distance of Times Square, Broadway, Empire State Building. Lots of restaurants. Had a room with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.
