I booked this hotel for my parents, they enjoyed their stay! They said the hotel is in the heart of Broadway, in an ideal position to visit Manhattan! Rooms are clean and spacious. Their room was on the 17th floor and had a wonderful view. They didn't have breakfast in the hotel. The only thing we didn't like about the... More

The staff was lovely and helpful. Couldn't ask for a nicer crew. Amenities are very dated and not what I would expect for nyc. Bathroom was shabby...no hot water first night, holes in shower walls, tub shower stained where old tub mat used to be. Elevator left us standing in the hall for 10 minutes, until a kind cleaning lady... More

Stayed at the Belvedere after coming back from a cruise. Checked in at 10.30 but the rooms was not ready until 16.00 so we left our bags in the holding room until it was ready. When we got back and checked in it took a rather long time for our bags to arrive to our room. So next time I... More

Perfect location, nice and clean rooms, near metro, acceptable breakfast. Personnel very friendly. Lots of restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. WiFi worked perfectly. The style is according the time they want to represent, so I do not think the hotel looks old. They could improve the AC but it worked fine. I would book this hotel without hesitation in... More

This is a beautiful hotel built in 1920's in the Art Deco style. They say it is a boutique hotel, but nah... It is what it is, and that is good enough for me. Very close to Times Square & Hell's Kitchen, if you like that, but far enough away to be quiet. Some great restaurants nearby too. Skip the... More

The staff was very nice!!! We had two rooms and 1 was very clean and nice. Each room has a small fridge and microwave. The second room the ac was... More

My friend booked our reservation through Hotwire and arrived close to four hours after I did. So I was denied entry into my room (until she arrived) despite Hotwire faxing over to the Belvedere my name, etc. I even offered up my credit card to be able to get into the room. Yes, we got a great discount by using... More

My family of 4 stayed here for 5 nights in May (business & vacation). Here's some pro's and con's: Pros: - Location - This hotel is in just about the perfect spot in mid-town. Close to Times Square, close to the subway. Close to some great cheap eats. Everything was just a block or two away. - Quiet - we... More

Excellent hotel as a base for exploring New York City. Room was spacious and clean and the staff helpful and friendly. We were on the 12th floor and found it to be fairly quiet and peaceful. Perfect location for discovering all this wonderful city has to offer. Would definitely recommend.

Found the Belvedere through Priceline. I was looking for an affordable, good quality Hotel located near Times Square on short notice. We were impressed with the size of the room and the quality of the entire establishment. We were checked in by Ricky who was enthusiastic, generous and a lot of fun. I will recomend the Belvedere to all my... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
