In the deep heart of the city near all the sightseeing e.g. Times Square is just 5 minute (slow) walk. Nearby groceries, coffee places, restaurants with a decent price, Broadway, subway, shoops, MSG, buses, etc... If you choose this hotel, you can walk to all the things instead for buying tickets for MTA, and so on. The Central Park is... More

I found a decent price online through hotels.com for this hotel. I was only staying in New York one night so it was ok. The hotel is close to a lot of attractions so walking in this area is possible. The rooms are beautiful. We had a view of the other tall buildings, real New York scenery. Hotel reception was... More

This is my third time back and love it each time. Now they added a wine and cheese reception in the evening too. I love the people there and the service they provide. The location is great but it is the people who make this hotel great. I would suggest one of the upgraded rooms on the higher floors, totally... More

We could not have picked a better hotel, two blocks away from Times Square, and in the heart of Manhattan. The rooms were clean and tidy, the only downside was the banging noise from the toilet when flushed.

Hotel was great for the price. Friendly staff. We were able to check in 5 hours earlier. I thing the location was great since you can get by subway almost anywhere. Lots of different trains stopped close by the Hotel.

Room very clean this time; accommodating cleaning staff. In town for three plays in two days; the room size and rate were perfect after the blizzard. Chest of drawers were a bit dinged perhaps because of close proximity to bed, otherwise comfy room with great mattress and plenty of pillows. Always enjoy the wet bar features as I mainly eat... Very friendly staff. They offered us the use of a wheelchair which was indispensible in allowing my 83 yr old mom to get around the theater district without having to risk the trecherous sidewalks. This hotel is convenient to the entire Times Square area and theater district areas. Easy walking distance to everything. The concierge was very helpful and had... More

In town for my daughter to attend a workshop. The location was very handy for her and great for us. If you intend on hitting any Broadway shows they are just steps away and plenty of restaurants and free wifi. Rooms were clean and love having a refrigerator and keurig available for breaks and to store Cheesecake. I would not... More

I researched hotels for my visit to NY and whilst this place is a little tired, it is in a perfect location for a good price and has everything you need. Breakfast was ok again everything you need and not fancy. I chose it on the basis there was coffee available in the room! When you have read 30 or... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
