This was our first visit to America and a lot of research went into picking the right hotel in the right location for the right price. We got it about 95% right and only the weather (minus -26C) caused a problem. First impressions were very good, excellent central location, attractive facade, attentive doorman and polite check in staff. When we... More

Location is very important on a holiday, and this Hotel was perfect for us, Just 5 minutes walk to Times Square and Broadway. About another 5 to the show we'd booked at the Minskoff theatre. The room was on the 16th floor with a rear view. The bed was lovely and comfortable a Kingsize as well. The bathroom was a... More

5 nights with my daughter at this hotel while we went to plays and a conference -- plenty of space for us to spread out although the bathroom is tight. Rooms and hotel very clean and friendly service from the minute the first doorman opened up for us. I thought money had been stolen from my purse in the room... More

We stayed for just one night at the Belvedere and were very happy with the room...it was clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating, and we were able to check in early, which was nice. It was a perfect location for us because we had tickets for the Cort Theater, a 10-minute... My husband and I traveled on Feb. 8 for a quick overnight stay to see a show and booked The Belvedere on a chance. Generally when you book online, and you get a deal like we did, it's too good to be true. The Belvedere looked exactly like the photos on their website and through the Expedia booking site. We... The hotel is close to attractions, but on a quiet street. The room was comfortable and the price was very reasonable. Staff were helpful. I would skip the hotel breakfast; service there was so-so and not worth the cost given the other choices nearby. I would stay there again.

Have stayed here before and knew the Belvedere has a good location and reasonable prices. We had two deluxe rooms this time, as my son and his wife came with us. The rooms are a nice size, beds are comfortable, TV works well, and we did not experience any problems with noise. The size of the bathroom is fine, but... More

We stayed here in September of 2014--everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The rooms are small, but for NY, not too bad. The location is great for theatre, restaurants, etc. and not far from the subway. We would stay here again if (when) we come back to the Big Apple!!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
