Pros: * The room was surprisingly quiet (we requested high floor at the back) * Clean and comfortable * Large bathroom with shallow bath * Location: near lots of different train lines, lots of shops including Macey's, lots of food options, 10min walk to Times Square, 10-15min walk to Grand Central Station, Rockefella Centre Cons: * One elevator which we... I really liked this hotel! The staff at the reception were very helpful! They also gave us a free upgrade! And the rooms were very nice! The bathroom was big and clean! The beds were also lovely very comfy! Nice tv and lovely cold water! The breakfast in the morning was only okay, maybe a bit more selection would have... More

We have stayed at the Stanford Hotel quite a few years ago and I swore I would not want to go back. However, this time was different. The rooms have been updated and for the price it was perfect. My husband and I only stayed one night June 18/19. It's location is ideal. Close to Penn Station, Herald Square, Macy's,... More

Ok when us girls first checked in, we were a little nervous ... Lobby and entrance is nothing grand. Our room however was amazing! This is NOT an average hotel folks, there were 4 of us and we had plenty of room! A separate sitting area, a beautiful large bathroom with a shower on one end and soaker tub on... More

We stayed here for 6 nights. Great location. Accommodation is basic but comfy beds and very clean and all that is required in NYC - staff were very friendly and the breakfast was sufficient for us although not much choice but considering its free - saves a few dollars each day!

Great location, nice staff, comfy bed. What more can I say? I felt safe, the room was pest free, and the staff was nice. I'd definitely stay there again. And I'm a huge snob! Breakfast was a bit sparse, but it was free!

I visited this hotel for brunch - so no comments on the rooms. You need to book - but it was well worth it. The menu was great - food fresh and very nice - and any venue that service strong liqueur at breakfast has my vote. A great spot - easy to access and with plenty of dining options.... More

I stayed at this hotel last week with my wife, the room was small but it was clean and had maid service every day the staff were very friendly and willing to give advice on tourist places. The breakfast was very disappointing a few rolls and cakes which had to be eaten off paper plates and cups and the place... More

We were one week in this hotel in Executive Suite. Suite was large (compared normal hotel rooms in NYC) and clean. At least our suite's bathroom was renovated. Free WiFi! Location in Midtown, Empire State Building or Madison Square garden only two block away from this hotel. And subway stations nearby.
