This is a great place to stay. If we ever come back to NY I will be staying again. The bed was comfortable and the shower is just amazing. The hotel is close to everything walking distance to Empire State Building, 3 min walk to Macy's, 10 min walk to Time Square, 10 min walk to Penn Station and MSG.... More

Stayed here twice now it's just a great little hotel. 2 minutes from Macy's and 5 from the Empire state. Rooms are small but perfectly adequate and comfortable. Continental breakfast included. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning.

This hotel is in an excellent location. Macy's is a minute walk away and the Empire State Building a 3 minute walk away. The subway station is on the corner by the hotel. Times Square and Rockefeller centre are a 10 minute walk away or 1 subway stop of $3. Central Park is about 30 min walk or 3 subway... More

We had a junior suite which was double the size of anything else I could find in other hotels for the same price!!!! Boy did we need the space. It was lovely to be able to lounge about in the seating area after a long day walking the streets of NY. Perfect location for Empire State, Macys, Herald Square. Ten... More

This is basic, not a luxurious hotel though the rooms have a good size same with the bathroom.Hotel Stanford is all about location and price. Plus free breakfast and wifi! A minute away from 34th St subway station and five minute walk from Madison Square Station. Shops and... More

Hotel Stanford isn't very luxurious and the rooms are small and there's no view but when we go to NYC during the Holiday Season its more about location and price. The Hotel is located steps away from an entrance to the 34th St subway station which is a major connection point. You can get to just about all the tourist... More

This hotel is in a great location, it is convenient for so many of the tourist attactions. Check in was smooth and swift and the single elevator took us to our rooms. Our room was compact but well equipped with both a bath and a shower, but no view at all. We did not have the free breakfast but did... More

Good Hotel with reasonable rooms, friendly staff and what make this hotel perfect is the location, just a few steps from the main atractions, Empire States, Times Square, Madison square garden, Public Library, 5th Ave. We will repeat in Feb 2016

I stayed here for 1 night on my own in November. The hotel was in a great location within walking distance of lots of attractions. I was upgraded for free to a larger room also. The room was large and clean but was noisy as the surrounding area is very busy. The included breakfast was very basic and disappointing considering... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
