I´ve been at Hotel Stanford twice and it´s in a very good location near Times Sqare and it has a subwayway station nearby. Room service was fine and the breakfast is OK (everyday we have the same food). I recommend it.

the staff is very helpful. it's the best location in Manhattan. people are complaining about breakfast, but it's complimentary - so why are you complaining about? and also, you are in NYC- do breakfast in a good cafe'. definitely will return. the elevator is slow, so be patient.

I booked this hotel through hotels.com (same pricing if you go direct, but wanted to earn rewards) as the last I was here about 5 yrs ago, we had a fairly large room with a bed for 2 and a sofa bed for the 2 kids. This time, I need sleeping arrangement for 3 adults as my daughter is an... More

Nice and spacious room. They were happy to check us in early and the location was really central. Could seem a bit hectic as it's in Koreatown. The free breakfast and luggage storage was also super convenient!

Quite and comfortable room, but renovation is obviously required or at least good cleaning. Space for breakfast is not enough and breakfast quality is average. Very good location and responsive staff and that compensates the issues.

We spend there 8 nights with four family members in a suite. The location was perfect though the room had seen its best days, the beds were small, the air conditioning in hotel made a terrible noice etc. The breakfast was included in the price, we only had it once as we really found nothing to eat there. Also the... More

As this was our first time staying in New York, we had no idea what to expect when it came to hotels. This is a reasonably priced place, with tidy rooms and helpful staff. I also think they read reviews and take into account what people say, because some things have definitely changed since the time some of the reviews... More

A little late in reviewing but as the saying goes better late then never!. Stayed here for 10 nights, room large for NY standards, friendly check in guys, good location (about 5 minute walk from Madison Square Garden) Free continental breakfast (although we never availed, still pretty good to get something to start the day) Would definitely recommend staying at... We were two friends staying for five nights. We booked a month out after our Airbnb was suddenly cancelled on us. We had a twin bed room on the 9th floor. The room was surprisingly spacious - enough room to do some stretching. The room had no view but was very quiet although the air con was too noisy to... More

First time we have stayed at this superb hotel, really well situated, time square only 10 minute walk from hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is served in a bakery adjacent to the reception area through a glass door, it's self service, croissants, bread to toast, muffins, bagels, liptons English breakfast tea, good coffee too. It's just what you... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
