We had a Junior Suite room, paid under 400 dollars a day, and was not worth it. The location is good, but there are many hotels nearby, so could have chosen the Radisson right next door. The breakfast was LITERALLY: bagels, muffins, cream cheese, coffee, tea, 3 apples. All served on plastic / single use equipment, in a next door cafe,... More

This hotel is decent. It's the third time I've stayed in the past ten years. But it maybe the last. It's not terrible, just I don't know if it's worth the price anymore. Location is excellent. It's clean and quiet. The subway is right on the corner and you're in the middle of everything you'd ever want. What was really... More

Wonderful stay for a girl's weekend! Located right around the corner from Macy's and ESB. Staff was helpful and polite. Wine bar is nice and cozy. Hotel needs some updates on furniture but beds and bathroom were really nice. Little on the hot side and thermostat didn't work but well worth the price.

This hotel couldn't be better located. Almost all subway lines are between 1 and 3 blocks away, it is right next to the Empire State Building, and just a few blocks away from Times Square. Unfortunately not everything was right for me: the complimentary breakfast was poor. How com a hotel offers all kinds of bagels, and just one kind... More

Had a great time staying here with my family for a quick trip to NYC. It's got a subway stop very close by that was convenient to get to when it was raining. Front desk staff was cordial and quick to accommodate any requests. The complimentary breakfast was a nice plus as well.

Stayed here for a pre-Xmas trip with my sister. We were in a twin room on the 7th floor for two nights. The hotel really impressed me for how much we had paid for it. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was of average size with a good size bathroom. The beds were really comfy and there... More

Probably the biggest advantage is this hotels location. Quick review: Overall a great hotel in a great location which just needs a bit of an update. If you're not planning on staying in the hotel for long then I strongly recommend this hotel! Extended Review: Travel - We flew into JFK and it took us just 40 min and $58... More

Great trip. The hotel is clean. Our room was very big for a NYC hotel. Staff are friendly. They could be better with local knowledge of places/directions and good food though! The breakfast is a joke! There are only a handful of chairs/tables so you stand in line for over 20minutes waiting for breakfast. The coffee is awful and very... More

The Hotel Stanford is a great stay. The rooms are a good size and clean. The service is good. We were a party of 9 and had several rooms on several levels. All reported that the rooms were quiet. Which is great after a day sightseeing. The hotel uses the attached café for breakfast which consisted of mainly European continental... More

stayed here for 5 nights with friends in December. Was a little concerned before we arrived, but the place is fine! We had a double double room, beds were well made and comfortable. The toilet / shower looked brand new and were exceptionally clean, a big bonus point there. Location is great, about 10 mins into time square and few... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
