This hotel is one of my go-to's while visiting NYC. It's right by Penn Station and within walking distance to so many popular attractions including Times Square, Broadway, and the Empire State Building. I always ask for one of the rooms with free wi-fi....they will happily accommodate. The staff are all pleasant....and the rooms are unbelievable ! This is one... More

We stayed here on our honeymoon early July 7 - 12th and really couldn't complain about anything. The room we were given was fairly small I suppose but was lovely and clean and the decor was modern and bright. The staff were all friendly and helpful and as everyone reading these reviews will know by now the location is fantastic!... More

I was first introduced to this hotel during a stay for a dental seminar and it has been our family default hotel since. It is across from Penn station and conveniently located to local attractions. Walking distance to time square, Empire State Building, MSG, Macy and the list goes on. The hotel staff are very attentive and the room is... More

The hotel is fine unless you need sleep. It must be the door slam capital of the world. I stay in a huge range of different hotels all over the world on average two nights a week. Even a call to the duty manager to request staff don't slam the doors didn't help.

We stayed here on our first trip to New York City. Initially we selected the hotel based on the location being central (based on a map) but when we arrived, we couldn't have asked for anymore. Having flown to JFK, we opted for the Air Train to Jamaica then Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) from Jamaica to Penn Station. Penn... More

This hotel was perfect for our 4 day stay in NY. It is convenient to Madison Square Garden, Chelsea market, Empire State Building and just about any place you can walk. It was clean and very quiet. The restaurant food was delicious and servers very attentive. Plan to definitely stay at this hotel again! I do add that we upgraded... More

Rooms are small but clean and tidy. The thing this hotel lacks is free internet in the rooms. For the price you pay you want free wifi! Overall in a good location with friendly staff. You are bang opposite Maddison square gardens and it's very easy to get around the city on buses and taxis etc.

My mother and I stayed at this hotel for 8 days in June 2014. The location is close to some of the world's finest museums, shopping and restaurants. Central park is only blocks away and easily walkable. We stayed in the junior suite. It was huge by NYC hotel standards for the price. We opted for a grocery package. This... More

My family and I (total 6 of us) choose the Affinia for a 3 night stay prior to taking a Carnival Cruise. We booked a 1 bedroom which consisted of a bedroom with private bathroom and queen size bed. The living area had a pull out couch with kitchenette (stove fridge microwave). They also provided a rolling bed free of... More

We got a free upgrade to a deluxe room, it was huge! The bed is massive too and we had a very comfortable sleep. It is however, very noisy, there is a Fire House up the road and so lots of sirens and horns outside, but hey it's NYC, it's to be expected in one of the busiest cities in... More
