This is a great hotel in a perfect SoHo location. The bellman are friendly and very helpful. This was our second time and we will be back.

First time staying here, and it's great. The staff is super friendly. Our room is like an upscale classy B&B with old fashioned wall paper. And the best yet, room service has a selection of loose teas that they mix upon your request. Breakfast was Assam and Oolong with a raisin scone and strawberry jam. What a fabulous way to... More

Check-in - had to wait 10 minutes to get to the front of the queue, but chap was very apologetic, explaining how it was always a busy time around 6 o'clock (well get a extra person on the desk at 6 then) but he was friendly and helpful. Then I got to the room , opened the door and was... More

Overall very good stay. The hotel is in a great neighborhood and the lobby area is striking / original. The rooms are something of a let down after the cool lobby (smallish, rather drab etc) but they actually grown on you and feel cosy after a while and the bathroom, while tiny, was actually kind of quait and comfortable to... We stayed at the Hilton Inn Manhattan - Soho this past weekend (family of 4), and were very impressed with everything. Considering some of the reviews we read on other hotels in the area, we weren't sure on what to expect, but we were plesantly surprised. The checkin staff and breakfast staff were extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were... More

The Soho Grand has matured along with its clientele. The décor is Steam-Punk, post-industrial luxe. But the hip sylphs who glide the dark halls, hover over reception and open the door in their shades of black and grey are ... nice to you. They smile. It's disorienting at first, but the SoHo Grand is solidly in the mainstream of international... More

Stayed at the Soho Grand in March on the recommendation of a friend and from getting out the taxi the great experience started. Extremely friendly staff (not the usual Fake friendliness you encounter in other places). Hot towell and a glass of bubbly at checkin can't be beaten. I've stayed at numerous hotels in NYC and this is by far... More

We have stayed at the Soho Grand a couple times a year for several years. Its not your usual stuffy uptown facility. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. They always seem to go out of the way to make it just a little special for us. The doormen always remember us and are so cheerful even in cold NYC weather.... More

I was in NY for my job and booked Graqnd Soho... Efter one night of listening to all the sirens from the police cars and ambulances I asked to be moved to a more silent room. BUT THERE IS NO! They moved me to another room but it wass even worse. The hotel has a nice lobby but thats all.

I recently stayed at the fabulous Soho Grand Hotel, it is by far "THE" best hotel in New York city. My room was so relaxing and spacicious, comfort galore. The staff is extremely gracious and most welcoming on every arrival & departure. Step off the elevator to the lobby and you feel as though you have entered the most elegant... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighborhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York, SoHo is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway is teeming with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district – the world’s largest collection of intricate and elegant cast-iron architecture. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city.
