My husband and I stayed at this hotel while we were in New York to run the New York Marathon. The Hotel was very busy with runners but the atmosphere was electric. Even the staff were wearing marathon gear and it added to the excitement of running the marathon. The location is outstanding and the staff excellent. The room was... More

The location is great. Very close to Time Square and the theatre district. The rooms are small, but clean. This is the second time I've stayed here and I will stay again. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This hotel is good for a New York visit ! Close to so much and they do have helpful staff . My only complaint was the crazy busy lobby ! It's a zoo! However the rooms are nice and there are tons of eating options around for you and the family. It's a win for the price but just don't... More

If you want to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, this is an ideal location! However be aware that the rooms are small and expect long elevator lines. The bright spot of our stay was the incredible service we received from Ahmed during our check-in.

Two days in the hotel and in lounge floor. Horrible lounge ( May be a cafeteria ! Not a lounge) Check in in line for 30 to 60 minutes! Very small room and very very small bath room. No service Stay away from this hotel , I paid more 400$ per night for a service of two star hotel!

The Sheraton time square is in a great location and that is about all I can say. The room is small and cramp. Service is so-so. Dining option in the hotel is limited. Thank goodness for all the deli around the hotel (again, its location! Location! Location!) Hudson Market breakfast buffet was a horrendous mess of a bad food not... More

I stayed at this Sheraton to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I could not have asked for a better location. Times Square is just down the street. I was able to walk everywhere. With in 15 minutes I was at NBC, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, St. Patrick's Cathedral, the Gershwin Theater and so much more. The hotel... More

For tourists, this is probably an excellent choice. For me, it was not. My decision to stay here was solely based on a discounted rate that I found online. I normally try to avoid the area immediately surrounding Times Square, but it looked like it was far enough away that I could avoid the congestion if I wanted to. Boy,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
