As a SPG member, we were upgraded to a bigger room with an amazing view over Times Square. We were given water in the main reception and complimentary wifi. The breakfast buffet is fantastic quality and the staff were really chatty! Really pleased with our stay here and would return.

Eight of us (four adults and four children) traveled to New York City for 6 days/5 nights. The primary purpose of our trip was to see the Ball drop in Times Square on New Year's Eve. Our reservations were made 6+ months in advance. We requested two rooms facing Times Square where we could see the Ball drop. We followed... More

Spent a week at the Sheraton with my husband and 2 adult children in September and we were all very happy with this hotel. The Sheraton is in a good position, close to subway and a couple of blocks from Times Square. After staying at the Marriott Marquis two years prior, I feel that the Sheraton is a much more... More

I stayed here 4 nights earlier this month and the entire stay was fantastic! The check in line seemed long upon arrival, which is never fun after driving to the airport, waiting for the flight, flying, then taking a train followed by a cab ride. BUT right away a lady from the hotel brought us a bottle of water. I've... More

For a tourist, Sheraton Times Square is located right at the middle of most NYC tourist spots. Though sporting an "eighties" like feel in the lobby, the rooms are clean and comfortable; perfect for a very tiring walk in and around the city. Sheraton is really accessible; subway station just around the corner, low budget to high budget restaurants are... More

Very good hotel in a great location for visiting Broadway, MOMA and Central Park. Subway stop right around the corner for access to Chelsea Market. Hotel is always busy, so the lobby can be a bit loud and chaotic.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
