It is a gigantic hotel, crowded and sitted in one of the most busiest and noisiest boroughs of Manhattan. We received a really bad treat by the concierge that is right at the entrance of the elevators. We asked about how to get to the lower lobby and to another main conference room and his answers were extremely rude and... More

As many others have noted, the most compelling thing about this hotel is its location. Literally a block from Times Square, its hard to beat, assuming you want to be in that part of town. Also in its favor is relative value. I'm usually found rooms here for just under $200, which in Manhattan is pretty competitive (again, especially in... More

This is a huge hotel in midtown right off times square. If you are looking for location and value than this is a great stay. If you are looking for more personalized service and attention to detail than its probably better to look elsewhere. Rooms were very very small - even for new york standards. Room was clean and had... More

I stayed here as an SPG card holder and was really disappointed by the benefits. To store bags is $4 a bag. This is the only hotel in the world that has charged for this service. The lounge was really average with ok food but expensive drinks. Membership may have its privileges but not here!

Dear GYnEnz, We are disappointed to hear that your stay was met with several frustrating encounters. While we are not sure what type of room was booked, we do try to be as informative as possible on our website in terms of room dimensions, bed types, and in-room amenities. Our Double Room with two Double Beds can certainly accommodate 4,... More

This is a large hotel in NYC which was well priced and very serviceable. The lobby area was invariably busy and noisy as I suppose you would expect in a hotel with 2500 rooms. The room was very serviceable and of course the location is great. No free wifi in the room and $4 to leave a bag does leave... More

The hotel was presented very well at all times, staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Nancy on the tickets section she helped me and my friends with a big bus tour ticket, which was a highlight of our trip. The room was always cleaned to an exceptional standard, all staff very welcoming . Would return again.

4 night city break in New York. Location is excellent - Times Square just a few minutes walk away. Central Park just 5 mins walk. Right on top of a couple of subway lines and a few mins walk from others. We had the Superior king room on the 24th floor. Kingside bed was lovely and we both had excellent... More

In December 2013 I travelled with my family of 8, which included 4 adults and 4 children. We arrived at the Sheraton hotel where it was snowing heaps, and we were helped out of the taxis by the porters. We were a bit early so they suggested we have some lunch and leave our baggage in the room that was... More

We arrived on the 15th feb and was greeted not by a door man or even someone who could help getting our baggage from the car and up the stairs but by a wall of people standing outside and even worse when we managed to carry, push and bang into the hotel we where greeted again by even more people... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
