The hotel is what you would expect from a Sheraton: clean, comfy beds, and good service. And it's in a really good location - close to lots of must-see attractions. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Recently renovated. Pros: location: close to times square and central park, subway station in front of the hotel; room size: good for NY standards; beds: comfortables; Contras: you have to pay for extras ( room wifi, bags storage, packages, etc); free wifi in the lobby didn't work; housekeeping: every time the lady saw us, asked when were we leaving??? Good... More

This is a great hotel to be in the center of everything. Rooms are small but does have everything you need. Breakfast buffet pricey $50, but quiet frankly everything is in NYC. Airport in a taxi depending on traffic $45-$55.

hotel was lovely being honest and the view from the room was great, but getting there was traumatic, the elevators sound like they are older than the combined ages of my parents and might need some servicing, that aside staying there was fine - we went to New York for my partners 25th Birthday and on my booking form it... The best thing about this hotel is the location. Near Time Square, Broadway, MoMA, Rockefeller and much more. We stayed in a club room which included breakfast (very basic), afternoon hors d'oeuvres (nice) and snacks through the day. Staff have been very helpful and attentive. Nice cocktails at the lounge bar!!

The Sheraton is located in a great part of NYC. The room was small but served it's purpose. They had many outlet plugs which was convenient. The bed was very comfortable. The lighting in the room was dim in some parts and there was a slight odor which they came up and sprayed deodorizer to eliminate this. The staff especially... More

Dear An9el_mama, Thank you for sharing your informative review. It sounds as though the positive experiences outweighed the minor room inconveniences, and we are pleased to hear it. You should be notified when something is repaired in your room, and we regret this oversight. That being said, we hope other aspects of your stay were more enjoyable, especially our location... Room adequate and clean and comfortable but there was no place to sit other than a desk chair! There was a safe to store valuables but it limited the hanging of clothing ! Main lobby is dark and dreary Help were just ok. Access from garage was very uncomfortable . Storage for luggage was open with no sense of security.

We were treated very well and for 4 days they took very good care of us. They did give us a tip on where to get some Good Ole New York Pizza but it turned out to be a poor excuse for any kind of pizza. Their were 14 of us on this excursion and the Sheraton was very nice,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
