5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We stayed here in a family room (2 double beds) in April for a family holiday. Check in was amazingly fast and the lobby was very luxurious. The room itself was fantastic, much bigger than we expected after reading other reviews. Only had one issue whilst we were there, with the air conditioning, which was fixed within half an hour... Fantastic location - walking distance to many sights and business meeting locations. Rooms are reliably nice Sheraton quality. My only complaint is that the water pressure in my shower was very low. I would definitely stay at this property again for either business or personal travel.

The location is great as you're not far from Cental Park and everything around Time Square. The rooms a good size for a City Hotel with all the amenities you'll needs - clean and well maintained (super helpful Chamber Maid!). I stayed on the 47th floor so had a great view but this isn't for the faint hearted as the... More

We had booked 3 rooms for 6 people, staying 7 nights. Check in was efficient and lobby area including lobby bar was very appealing. Quite small rooms, but big enouch and with all we needed. Elevator capacity very good. There is extra charge for Wifi in rooms and lobby bar and breakfast restaurant quite pricey. For hotels with this standard... More

Need the subway? It's about 50 steps away. Need a cab? The bellmen will have one for you in an instant. Great location in Times Square, easy walk to Rockefeller Center. Rooms are decent sized for NYC and have plenty of outlets. However, the outlets on the nightstand by the bed may be worn and your iPhone charger may not... More

The hotel is fine - average is not a bad rating. Eveything was clean, service was fine, the restaurant was a little pricey, but you often get that in these hotels. It just didn't stand out in any way. It's a decent chain hotel. Was here on business and if it was booked for me again, I wouldn't complain.

Stayed for a week in February half term and although the temperatures out side were constantly sub zero the hotel was cosy and warm and the rooms surprisingly larger than I would have expected for mid-town New York. Staff friendly and efficient and loved the self service computer to print out your fights tickets is a real bonus would definitely... More

Perfect location for access to restaurants, theatres, and for watching 20,000 people running by in the NYC Half Marathon! This hotel has been a favorite for many years. It isn't the swankiest spot in Manhattan, but how many people really need that? I'll be back - again and again.

This hotel is very centrally located and within walking distance of many New York sites such as MOMA and the Empire State Building. However it also in the most crowded part of the City so if you want to casually stroll around you will be bumping into people left and right. The hotel is huge and so the massive lobby... More

We have spent the past four days in this hotel. It has suited our needs perfectly. Well-equipped room with free in room wifi. It is very clean too. We have been especially impressed by a concierge- Anthony - who assisted us in a friendly efficient manner. Thank you. The hotel is located a short walking distance to Times Square and... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
