This hotel is part of the Starwood Sheraton family. We stayed there using Starwood "points" so I don't really know if it was good value...or not. What I do know is that the staff was way above average in the friendly and helpful department! In a city often faulted for its surliness, that goes a long way for visiting out-of-towners.... More

I have been a starwood platinum for 8 years and have stayed at starwoods all over the world. have experienced crap all the way up to suites with butlers. this place is waaayyyy towards the crap side of the scale. one would think that with the fantastic location that they would renovate and make it a respectable property. its just... We have stayed here twice so far. This is a former Sheraton and still part of Starwood chain. It’s sort of “Sheraton Light”. The rooms and the lobby are Sheraton–like ( including great bed, concierge, bellmen and free WI-FI in Lobby), but there is no club floor, restaurant is only a pricy breakfast place, there are no suites(we were told),... This hotel is a great value. The location is great and the price is second to none. The rooms are clean the staff friendly. If you want a hotel with a bar and 3meal restaurant this may not be your place, but if you want a great location and reasonable price for New York this is your place. More

I had a good stay at the Manhattan, whose chief virtue is price relative to proximity to Times Square, Hell’s Kitchen, theaters, and midtown attractions. I paid just $147 a night for a room in January – prepaid, of course. That’s about half or less than other nearby hotels. Granted, the property is dated, and I don’t recommend walking on... More

We stayed 3 nights and we were able to visit a lot !!!!!!!!!!...Everything is closed and especially the Time Square were you have all you want. The rooms are really big for NY and very clean ( I don't understand why some reviews say the carpets were dirty and the walls !!!!!!!!! that's absurd !!!!!!) This is the perfect hotel... More

Spent 2 nights at the The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel 2days after New Years Eve. The hotel itself is nothing fancy, but the rooms were very clean and quite big for New York. Hotel was in an excellent location and you could pretty much everywhere, right in the heart of time square. Nice time to visit New York, Christmas... More

Location: This hotel was the perfect resting point for our weekend in NYC. While the room didn't face Times Square, we were only one block from the crossroads of the world. Sleeping: Luckily I like a firm mattress, my wife doesn't so she had trouble sleeping. However the room/hallway was very quiet. Pool: We were hoping to relax in the... More
