Location was good but that is the only positive thing I have to say about this place. There was a smell of urine in the bathroom, the tv didn't work, and it was obvious the floor behind the headboard had not been cleaned recently. We were only there two nights and were on a very tight schedule so we didn't... More

We enjoyed our stay here. Great location. Room included on the go pastries fruit and beverage which worked well for us. We particularly want to thank John P from housekeeping. We coincidentally met him one day in Queens when we were looking for directions to a museum and then found him working at this Hotel later that evening. He went... More

Traveled to NYC in December and although location and room were fine, there were still some issues. My house and car keys went missing, no help with finding them. After I returned home tried calling one more time to see if they found them when they cleaned the room and got the run around. Also, elevators were being repaired so... More

Excellent location! The beds were very comfortable, and the staff were nice. On the downside, the hotel is showing its age. Cracked tiles in the bathroom, wiring needs updating. There were power strips in several places.

You definitely do not need to stay in a big chain name hotel to get the experience we did. A beautiful property and impeccable service awaits you at the Manhattan. We were steps away from all attractions and at the end of the day happy to go collapse in our beautiful suite. The staff here was so accommodating and a... More

We stayed here over New Years and we couldn't have had a more perfect location and for the price you cant beat it! We did the option to upgrade if it was available when we checked in. We went from having a two double bed room to a suite. A SUITE in Times Square during New Years, it just does... More

Myself and 5 friends visited New York for the very first time and what a great time we had. We booked the Manhattan in September last year for 5 nights and we could find no fault whatsoever...well apart from the noisy bed rocking Brazilians next door ( good job it was only 1 night of our stay we had to... I just spent three nights and found it to be full of little surprises. Super location. Very reasonably priced parking right next door, with an attached hallway to the hotel. All the staff was friendly and helpful. I met one of the managers named "Lion" twice in the lobby. He was helpful and knowledgeable about the neighborhood. Each day I... More

My wife and I stayed there over the weekend for a quick NYC getaway. We stayed on the 7th floor which was sorely in need of help. Hallways, rugs and elevator were dirty and in need of new carpet and paint. Very noisy hallways! Our room had a very comfortable bed, but the bathroom had a bathtub fiberglass overlay on... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
