I got this special offer online on there homepage if you book with them this package you get 50 dollers on arrival . We arrived late at night so the manager did not got our gift card ready what was sad because I work in the hotel business and I look out a day before on the reservation for the... More

Stayed here with the fam (wife and two teen daughters) and have no complaints what-so-ever! The wife wanted to book a room here with a Groupon for the the week of Dec 27th - Jan 1st. I was skeptical and didn't think we could use a Groupon for a hotel that close to Times Square on NYE but sure enough... More

We were there for 5 nights. The staff is great specially the guys at breakfast station, Dolores, John and another guy that don't remember their names. The staff at front desk and concierge were very friendly too. Though I wanted to have rates for an upcoming trip of my in laws at front desk and couldn't come up with anything... More

I stayed there in September 2015. My first return there in over 10 years. The room was convenient to all attractions of Times Square, comfortable, clean ( cleaner than my previous visit) and had a great view of the avenue. The staff were helpful and always tried to give me a smile. It had free internet access and had people... More

Whatever you think from the photos it isn't true. You walk into the lobby and it looks really nice but as soon as you go up to your floor the carpet is gross and peeling back and the walls are peeling. Same is within the room with the addition of mould all through the bathroom (including the shower head) stains... More

I will start off by saying 99% of the hotel's staff was fantastic, as was the location. The actual hotel was disappointing. The rooms were rather outdated and not super clean. I rented two rooms for my family, both bathrooms had mold in the tile grout around the shower. One of the sinks was unsteady and seemed like someone tried... More

After reading some of the reviews, I was a little hesitant about staying in The Manhattan. The location was perfect, though, right around the corner from the theater where we were going to see a play so we decided to chance it. We were glad we did. Although the hallway on the 11th floor looked a bit shabby, we stayed... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and overall we were very happy with our experience. This is a fantastic location...well within walking distance of many of the places we wanted to see! Staff was super nice and helpful. The only issue we had was on the last night (a Friday night). People moved in next to us and the overwhelming... More

This property is probably decent for leisure travelers who aren't operating on a tight time schedule and need a quiet night's rest. It seemed to specialize in group tours, especially high school students who, understandably, enjoyed loud gatherings in each other's rooms and the lobby. However for business travelers there are so many inconveniences, as outlined below, which are unacceptable... More

We had a wonderful stay in NYC thanks to the staff at The Manhattan! This was our first time staying at the Manhattan Times Square, but it certainly wont be the last. From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted by a friendly bellman, Hector and the shining star was Miss Allison at the front desk. What a... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
