The location is excellent, both for business and leisure. The price was reasonable. But it really needs to work on renovation. Carpet full of stains, the room smells a bit old, like a humidity smell, air conditioning works but it is very old and noisy... And the room was cleaned only at night, when I went out to have dinner.... More

Stayed here for one night for a fleeting visit to NYC. First impression was good, staff were all friendly and helpful. Long wait at the checkin desk but we were allowed to go straight to our room which we were pleased about as it was only just gone 12. On reaching the 11th floor we were quite surprised by the... No TV reception, free long distance calls with the package we purchased cost $1.25 per call (FREE?) and who knows what other charges were charged to us for FREE, no face cloths. Rude manager. We asked for a new room when we realized our TV didn't work. We wanted to keep up with the weather and current events. We were... More

This hotel is descent in the truest sense of that word. We booked via Groupon, so that's how we picked (going for the cheapest, yet still livable). We knew we wouldn't be spending much time there because of our touristing plans, and I honestly didn't want to spend much more time there besides just resting from busy, busy days on... More

We arrived at the hotel late in the evening. The car park is around the corner and you basically drive into the entrance and leave the keys with the valet who then takes it up a series of lifts to wherever they store it! Thankfully, the porter brings the trolley to the car park and takes your luggage for you.... More

Overpriced and dirty. Our fist room there was hair in the bathroom, dirt and dust in the room. We were given another room after complaint still not very clean. Stayed 5 nights and buy the time the taxes and room surcharge were added it came to $1500 far too much for the low quality of stay

This is a very nice hotel. We stayed under the Driver's Delight package which included free parking and complementary breakfast (juice, fruit, baked goods, coffee) and it make the overall experience very pleasant.

I stayed with my wife for 8 nights in May 2015. We had stayed before in this hotel, just when it lost it´s "Sheraton Manhattan" brand. That first time our experience was not great at all, but the location is so good that we decided to give this hotel another chance, with the hope that things improved after the transition... More

I was there in January 2015 and hope to go back soon. The location is excellent (only 3 blocks from Times Square and Broadway theatres) and there are 2 subways stations, drugstores, supermarkets, restaurants and many souveniers stores around. The negative points are no frigde and wifi in the room.

We stayed at this hotel in May 2015. Staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was clean , neat and fully functional. Location was great and in the heart of Times Square. It does need a face lift and pics on the website are obviously outdated.Do however take advantage of the resort service charge of 21 US$, as this allows... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
