We booked this hotel through a local travel agent as it was highly recommended and in a great location, but then we read trip advisor and started to get a little worried. But honestly can't fault the hotel. Room was spotless, comfy bed, warm, great view, lovely bathroom and so close to central park, time square and the subway. All... More

Hotel was in prime local. Close to subways and easy walking to attractions. Our only issue was the lobby and lack of consideration to other guests who may have wanted to enjoy the lounge areas. There was what may have been 1 or many large groups that chose to treat the couches and chairs in the lobby as their personal... More

This is a great budget hotel. Stayed as 2 families with teenagers. Arrived early for check in after a long haul flight and both our rooms were ready. Had asked for a low floor and that's what we got. Yes rooms are a bit dated but they are clean. Location is great very central for everything, Central park, 5th avenue,... More

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. It is convenient to everything but that is about all it has to offer. When we arrived (after being stuck in a cab for almost 2 hours because the cabbie got lost) a bellman came over to help us with our bags. However, when we were in dispute... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
