The staff are great! I booked the junior suite at Christmas to get breathing room while staying and shopping for the Holidays. Lobby is inly fair location is an A+ and staff were tremendous. Did not see any other rooms and I know the junior suite was recently renovated so this rating is for that room and this experience.

Returned today after a fab 5 night trip and will give our honest opinion ...... We arrived late evening and was quickly checked in by a lovely friendly lady and was directed to our room on 20th floor. Wow was our 1st impression ..... A big refurbished corner room with a great view of 7th ave, which was requested! A huge... More

Great location, but rooms are very dated. They are clean but towels are threadbare, Carpets need changing and bathroom needs complete overhaul. To have WiFi in your room you have to pay £10.00 per day which is total rip off. Staff are friendly and nothing too much trouble for concierge on duty. Would be decent hotel if they ploughed some... This hotel is a bit pricey, but totally worth it. I recommends it because of it's excellent location: Near Times Squere, walking distance of few minutes from all Broadway theaters, Moma, 5th avenue, Central park, SubWay stations etc. Clean room and friendly service.

The location of this hotel is excellent. However, the rooms are in desperate need of a facelift. The beds were lumpy, the towels threadbare, the furniture was worn. We could hear everything going on in the next room, conversations, doors slamming, etc. the elevators literally take 10 minutes to arrive, we had to take the stairs several times from the... More

We had a great experience. We definitely came on a very busy weekend but the service was excellent. The staff were very helpful. Jennifer Calixto was extremely nice and made our time in the city very enjoyable by giving us a guideline of places to visit.

Very average hotel. No bar or room service. The Price was right. The room was comfortable with a king bed. The bath was clean with a tub. The location was great. A few blocks from Times Square and Radio City Music Hall and Central Park.

Great position between Cental Park and Times Square (10 min stroll either way). Good size rooms, clean, comfortable and safe. Staff were helpful and knowledgable. Eating anytime at a great variety of place on the doorstep means the lack of anything more than a token offer of hotel food doesn't matter. The lifts serve 22 floors and get frustrating -... More

I stayed for 4 nights and had a great trip. The location of the hotel is its selling point, it is right on the edge of times square. The lobby is nice and beds are comfy, but room is average, towels arent big enough for humans and theres no water/mini bar, the beds were made daily but thats about it.... More

The location is very good and possibly this is what attracts but... The hotel is very tired and in dire need of decorating. The rooms, corridors and lifts are so tired. Our bathroom needed a good clean and we had problems all week with a blocked toilet. So wanted to really like the hotel but sadly it does not meet... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
