When we booked, the information was unclear so we ended up double booking and getting 2 "suites". The staff was accommodating and cancelled one reservation so we didn't double pay. The "suites" themselves are like dorm rooms separated by a tiny bathroom. Overall it was reasonable for one night's stay, but if I was staying longer I would want something... More

Stayed three days, found it to be all the things the advertising says. Quiet part of Manhattan, by ar. Clean comfortable rooms. Great management. Close to subway and all the attractions on the West Side. Loved it. We came from Australia, and I got to say, for the money, it was the best value. Don't expect the Ritz, because it... More

The location is great, central park is a few minutes walk away and there were loads of places to eat and drink nearby on Amsterdam Ave. The metro line was very close so it was easy to get anywhere that we wanted on in NY. The rooms were clean and had everything you needed, although the rooms were small and... More

I usually wait until the last minute to book a hotel as it is usually cheaper. This time I was caught out and didn't want to pay $1000 for two nights in a hotel. We booked a suite which increased our expectations. The rooms were very small and the bathroom between the two rooms was a shock, however the beds... More

Like any New York accommodation, be it airbnb, bed and breakfast, or a fancier hotel, the hotel is small for the price. But New York is pricey, anyway. This was a wonderful stay because of the LOCATION and LOVELY VIEW. AND, we can walk feeling safe and secure because it's on New York's upper west side, which is free of... More

The hotel is pretty basic but very clean! There was no bath tub only a stand up shower. The staff were helpful and friendly! This is a great value hotel in a city that can be pretty expensive for accommodation! It is walking distance to Time Square, close to Central Park and a close subway stop.

This room is very small. Bed was comfortable, clean room and bath. The neighborhood is great for walking, and close to subway. We found it impossible to find street parking. Had to pay $ 40.-$60. A night to park. Desk staff was helpful and friendly.

The rooms are small, but upgrading to a suite costs all of $15 extra. Our family (2 adults, 1 tween) had a full-size bed, a twin and a roll-out plus a mini-fridge and microwave. Shower is teensy, but well-pressured and the bathrooms have been remodeled recently. Even overlooking Riverside Park with Henry Hudson Parkway on the other side, this is... More

The rooms are small but cozy. The Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The area is very safe and within walking distance to public transportation, restaurants and shops. I had a very pleasant stay in spite of the extremely cold weather NYC was experiencing this past (early) December. The hotel was warm and comfortable. They have a breakfast café with... More
