Rooms are poor and tiny. Receptionist were very friendly. Opened the cafe to get me some bottles of water when i was sick in the middle of the night upon arrival. Its OK central placed, not somfar from meteo. At least on Manhattan. Wouldnt go there again unfortanely.

The hotel is in a nice neighborhood location. The rooms were small, not frills, but functional. We had two separate rooms with a bathroom in between. We went to NYC to visit and did not spend much time in the hotel which worked out well. The room was clean and were provided plenty of soap and towels as needed. There... More

This is definitely a bare essentials hotel. The rooms are extremely small, and with the trundle bed and suitcases you likely won't see the floor. The bathroom could definitely use an update and the walls are paper thin. That being said, the hotel was relatively clean and serves its purpose. It's only a couple blocks away from the subway, train,... More

The hotel is not upscale, but I found it to be clean, quiet, and the staff courteous. It was rough around the edges, but I felt it gave it character and the location is excellent. I'd stay there again, especially given the price I paid during the busy Christmas season

Smallest room i have ever been in. Over all the room was clean-ish, the location was very good, and the wifi is free. The lobby is a bit off putting due to the peeling wallpaper, trim hanging off the door, missing paint, and the smallest/ancient elevator. It's cheap and served its purpose. I guess that is good enough.

I have just returned from New York and thought I needed to write this review. My husband and I booked a suite so we thought we could relax a little bit more as this was our second visit to new York. How wrong were we. The receptionist was rude on approach. No information given on surrounding area just given a... More

This hotel is excellently located in a very nice area of mid/ upper west side NYC. The area is prime residential, very near to Hudson River and Riverside Park which goes all the way down to the very bottom of Manhattan. It has great subway access to 3 lines . You can catch crosstown and downtown buses very near. The... More

After reading some of the reviews I was concerned, but my worries soon disappeared on arrival. The hotel was warm which was needed after being out in the cold. Our room on the 11th floor was a suite and for the amount of time we were in the room there was plenty of space. The twin room becomes small when... More

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel over the weekend. Overall it is a great deal in a fantastic location. The room was small but, honestly, you really don't spent a lot of time in your room in New York. The room was clean and staff was friendly. That is the good part. I parked out front of... More

I was travelling without my wife (a woman of higher standards than I!), and wanted an inexpensive place close to West End. Riverside Towers fitted the bill. The room was incredibly tiny (it was about 2m wide), and quite tired, but it had microwave, fridge, robe, bathroom, and (which is more than a lot of other much more expensive places... More
