My daughter and I spent one night so we could be up early to get in line for the Live Kelly and Michael show. The room was very small, but it was all we really needed. It was very clean, especially the bathroom! Dealt with three people at the front desk and all were very nice and friendly. Check in... More

Visited in March 2015 for Spring Break with a small school group - This hotel is very small and very minimal, but clean and adequate for getting a good nights rest. Plus breath taking views of the Hudson River from our room (suite= 2 rooms attached by an adjoining bathroom). Any other place in NY you would be paying at... More

The hotel was a bit scruffy looking compared to the online photo, and the rooms were very basic. It put us off initially and we wondered if we had made a big mistake. However it was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly helpful and there were great places to eat nearby, and only 2 blocks to... More

Location is awesome and cost was even better. Neighborhood is safe and was easy to walk around at night. Very close to subway, History Museum and Central Park. Drove into NYC and will advise everyone (DO NOT DRIVE!) Parking on the hotel site said if you cruise around the block for 5 or 10 mins. you could fine parking, 2... More

A great location on the upper west side, this is good budget accommodation for Manhattan. My room was small but you could tell that from the photos on the website. It's clean but old and a wee bit beat up, eg marks and scratches on the wall, but it was just fine as a base to explore NYC. I gave... More

This is a converted college dorm. We had a double room, each with a small bed with a bathroom/shower in the middle. For the price, in the Upper West Side you can't beat it. But don't expect any amenities. Staff was friendly. Great location of course near countless restaurants and shops and Riverside Park.

You want to stay in NY without being ripped off? You want to stay in an area which is safe, quiet and, in parts, picturesque? Then Riverside Tower is for you. Rooms are a bit like a student dorm - but, hey, we never complained about them did we? Everything else was fine - close to metro and other attractions.... More

This is a basic, but clean hotel is an excellent location. It's about a 15-minute walk to Central Park, around the corner from a Subway station, and a block away from Zabar's. Although the hotel does not have a breakfast spot, there are plenty, including Zabar's only a few minutes away. I'd also recommend the New Wave Cafe on Broadway... More

When we booked, the information was unclear so we ended up double booking and getting 2 "suites". The staff was accommodating and cancelled one reservation so we didn't double pay. The "suites" themselves are like dorm rooms separated by a tiny bathroom. Overall it was reasonable for one night's stay, but if I was staying longer I would want something... More

Stayed three days, found it to be all the things the advertising says. Quiet part of Manhattan, by ar. Clean comfortable rooms. Great management. Close to subway and all the attractions on the West Side. Loved it. We came from Australia, and I got to say, for the money, it was the best value. Don't expect the Ritz, because it... More
