Excellent hotel and location. I stayed there a few times for both business and leisure. Staff is always kind and responsive. I usually have several items delivered to the hotel and everything is taken care vigilantly. Rooms are, in most part, spacious and always impeccable clean. I highly recommend this property for anyone visiting NYC. Dinner at their restaurant is... more
The hotel is located at 7th and Broadway, a`convenient walking distance to a lot of attractions and in Times Square. The check-in area/small lobby are located at street level. You have to take the elevator to the 3rd floor for the Lounge/Restaurant/Concierge/Business Center Kiosks/Guest Room Elevators. This provides additional security and adds to the cozy and quiet atmosphere of the... more
Had an enjoyable week stay in New York at this hotel. Very friendly service from all staff. Particular thanks to the hotel concierge, Erick who was very welcoming, helpful and gave great tips and advice on attractions, restaurants and he even me a lesson on how to use the tube. Would recommend highly and return. more
My adult daughter and I spent three days in NYC for shows and sightseeing. The location is great! You are right next to everything. We even found a store right across the street with hot and cold salad bar plus all kinds of goodies. We were right around the corner from the restuarants and shows we had chosen. The valet... more
We spent 4 nights at the Renaissance as a "three generations girls trip" -- Grandmother, mother and daughter. We had a tremendous time at the hotel. Great location with the Grayline bus stopping just outside the door, the subway within the same block, the TKTS booth 1/2 block away, and lots of Broadway shows & restaurants within easy walking distance.... more
Stayed 5 days in NYC at the Renaissance. I normally do not stay in Times Square - but this was my kids first trip there and were excited at the prospect. The service at this hotel was excellent. We arrived before noon, and our adjoining rooms - which I had arranged by calling the hotel directly 2 days before arrival,... more
I just got back last night from my first trip to NYC. This hotel is perfectly located. You are literally in the midst of it all. The heart of times square is less than a block away. The rooms were nice. The bed/bedding was so comfortable that I wished I could take it home with me. The bathroom was gorgeous.... more
Although we only had a short four day stay at the Renaissance Hotel, it was very enjoyable. The hotel was situated in a wonderful part of New York City and was very central to everything that we needed. The staff had wonderful manners and were always quick to help if we needed it. As for the hotel itself, there is... more
Sandwiched between TKTS (discount theater tickets) and M and M World, the Renaissance NY Times Square is a terrific hotel in one of the most desirable locations in America. The check in entrance was deceivingly small. The lobby is actually on the second floor and sits over Broadway. It has a bar and is surprisingly quiet and relaxing. The building... more
