Stayed at the Renaissance Times Square in March, 2015 for a one week work trip. So, glad I booked the Renaissance at the last minute and cancelled reservation at the Wardof Astoria with my other colleagues. I am a Platinum Elite Marriott Rewards member, and I was upgraded to an awesome room overlooking 7th Ave/Times Square. The bright lights were... More

Stayed here while taking the family to see Les Mis. The room was larger than normal and big by NYC standards. We are a family of four, we were able to get a roll away bed in the room without being cramped. Service was prompt and the staff was always willing to help. Both our calls for extra bedding and... We just love this hotel-great location and amazing views! Despite being in the heart of Times Square-the rooms are quiet and large! Check-in was easy and quick. Big thank you to Omar the concierge-greatly appreciate your help with our boarding passes!! We will definitely return to this hotel!

We stayed at Renaissance at Time Square. It was in the heart of Time Square. We saw the full size of beautiful LED bill boards while having meals in the dinning room, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel is beautiful, clean and convenient to every where. The bedroom is nice, unique, clean and very roomy. Food is good, except our... More

Pretty impressive hotel in the middle of Times Square. We found the hotel staff to be very friendly. Whenever we had a question, they were available to answer it. Valet parking can be expensive- $65 every 24 hours. You do not need your car though! Many restaurants, subway and shops very close. Taxis are plentiful! We have stayed here many... More

I travel to NYC Time Square a couple times a year and stay at different hotels. This by far was one of the best! I checked-in the day after Valentines Day 2015 for one night. If I had more time I would have stayed two-three nights. It was conveniently located with an adult (boutique) atmosphere. The view from the restaurant... More

Great location in the heart of Times Square. You are near all the theaters and many famous sites. The hotel itself is wonderful. Main lobby on the 3rd floor which is very well appointed...the staff at this hotel are so helpful and kind that I didn't want to leave. The bar area with the views of Times Square are amazing... I stayed here after completing a cruise for one night. I was extremely impressed with the service, the room, and the property overall. The room was very clean and well maintained. I can't say anything bad or negative about my stay. Thanks for a great stay!

Cool hotel. Went to bar after recommend by mate. Food was good great cocktails. But you don't go here for anything but that view. Wow only place with the right Times Square view away from the madness. Went as two couples had dinner then friends had to go see show. We got two bottles of prosecco and sat chatting for... More

I stayed in New York City for the first time at the Renaissance hotel, with my sister. The location was great, being in Times square, which is in the middle of the city. The hotel itself was great, the room was clean and the staff were great. The only problem concerning the rooms are the thin walls. Apart from that... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
