My family of 5 stayed here for two nights. We had a junior suite with a pull out sofa and king size bed, which was a perfect choice because it gave the kids some space from the adults during the small amount of time we actually spent in the room, but it also helped at night when the kids were... Well located just east of Lexington Ave with it main entrance on 47th street its a great location. If you're a Starbucks fan then there is one on the ground floor exiting to Lex Ave. Rooms are a typical size for NYC hotels, well furnished with a comfortable bed. Bathroom small with shower in bath, reasonable pressure and temp. Noise... More

The hotels décor picks up on a combination of its famed guests Marilyn Monroe, Joe DiMaggio and the era of jazz. Every evening there is a quartet of jazz in the lobby area; whey cool. The staff are not just pleasant but efficient and accommodating. The rooms are gorgeous, clean and appointed with décor to carry out the theme. This is... More

I stayed here two nights on a business trip and found it be a good spot. It's a quick hop over to Grand Central Station to go to the market there and not that far a walk to Central Park. The hotel itself is trying to be hip, but comes off fairly basic. The room was small, but it's NYC... More

I liked my stay in this hotel. The hotel just went through a hugh renovation and is now worth the name 'design' hotel. The rooms are small (but that's the case in every NY hotel), but very well decorated and comfortable. I slept like a baby, so the mattress was perfect ... There is a indoor Starbucks where you can... WOW...great review. Thank you. Yes, guest rooms in NYC can be on the cozy side especially when compared to other cities. However, I am very happy to hear that you overall stay was great. Not sure when you last visited, we have just recently began offering our platinum and gold elite members complimentary continental breakfast in our morning lounge just... More

I just checked out of the Lexington Hotel earlier this morning. I come to NY often for business (this was my 3rd stay at the hotel in less than a year). From my first visit the last year, the quality of the hotel has gone down alarmingly. As a Marriott Gold Rewards member, I was certainly expecting better quality and... More

This hotel is in a great location! Staff was very helpful and the rooms were nice, good beds, decent sized bathrooms. Loved that is was close to the subway and you could walk in less than 20 minutes to the theater district. Would stay here again! There is also a diner and Starbucks attached to the hotel, which was awesome!

We stayed at the Lexington over Easter. It is true that the check in line is long, and it took us 5-10 minutes to check in. BUT, the front desk staff were fantastic. They saw that we had two small children and organised for a mini-fridge and coffee machine to be place in our room. We had a king bed... More

As others have mentioned, the hotel location is great and the rooms are what you'd expect for NYC. The king room is around 300 sq ft with a bed, side tables, and desk/chair with flat screen tv. The bathroom optimizes the crammed space and has a shower / tub combo. The Starbucks near the lobby is a nice bonus. I'd... More

Thank you for your review! We're glad you like our "great" location, as well as our "nice bonus"! As we were built back in the late 1920s, our guest rooms - and bathrooms - can be considered on the smaller size, but as you mentioned, we make as best use of the space as possible! We hope to welcome you... More

Great hotel and in a good location. The staff were welcoming and the place is pretty upscale. The brand is a Marriott property so expect good service. The rooms are spacious for NYC and are clean. Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
