Nice rooms restored to period and reasonable rates for a trendy place. If you enjoy restored to period boutique hotels put this one on your list. More fun than an average Marriott. The lobby is a nice place to people watch and catch up on your email.

A good location for visiting attractions in NYC. The rooms are comfortble and a good size, the bath is a little small but it was nice to have the option of both bath and shower. The lobby is nicely presented and the staff are friendly. There is a baggage hold where you can store your luggage for $2 per bag.... More

This hotel provides a great central location near a lot of places you will want to go. Not far from Grand Central, Rockefeller, Broadway or Central Park. Fantastic staff - just a great stay at this hotel. Worth every penny spent (NYC penny) and will stay there again!

Stayed at the Lexington for our anniversary and really enjoyed our room and the overall space. The lobby was always brimming with energy (possibly because it's the only place with free wifi). The mezzanine featured some rather fun "pods" that you could sit in and plug in your preferred music-playing device for a little surround-sound personal party. I'm not sure... More

Fabulous staff, clean and comfortable room, solid amenities, great lounge. Convenient to all the major attractions in the city. Thanks to Nicole for making our time in NY relaxing and memorable. Close the the best bagels in the city too.

Room was comfortable. Bed very comfortable. Disappointed that wifi only available in lobby and mezzanine. Hotel location could not have been better. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. Rockefeller center, Times Square and more all within minutes walk. For our visit we walked to tourist spots and picked up the hop on hop off bus... As a frequent traveller to NY I have had stayed a good number of hotels in midtown. Initial impressions were good, busy lobby, straightforward check in but it went downhill from there. Even by NY standards the room was small, possibly smaller than the W Hotel on Lexington. The room itself is reasonably well appointed...however there is obviously no sound... More

Of course being built in 1928 and in a major section of NYC may result in some of our rooms being small compared to today's standards, we apologize. Also, we apologize for the noise... More

First impressions are promising. A large open plan lobby woth comfy seating, tables and a bar area. However the rooms (standard double) are small and the bar expensive. Ok, so I know this is NYC but $45 for a glass of water, one beer and one G&T? Really? In room wifi was little sketchy. However room was clean, no complaints... More

I stayed in this hotel on Mon night. I arrived approx. 12:30am Tues morning. Was assigned room 530. I heard noise outside. I thought it was temporary. It was continuous. I called he front desk and was assigned room 429. This room was even better. The noise coming out of the vent was so loud, it was like staying on... More
