This was a beautiful old renovated hotel in Marriott's Autograph Collection of similar hotels. Very clean. Comfortable bedding. Well located. There's a Starbucks in the hotel! They do seem to get some large groups, which tends to overwhelm the staff at times, so a simple request for extra towels can be completely neglected, but overall nice hotel. We'll be back.

Small but very cute rooms rooms. Considering this is an older hotel, there are modern touches and a Jazz motif that blends both old and new throughout the property. Even though the queen room I was in was small, there is smart use of space, furnishings, and mirrors that makes it seem more spacious. It's cozy, homey, and trendy all... More

When I checked in they informed me it is a Marriott hotel. Very pretty lobby and recently renovated. It seems Marriott took over a year ago and as one manager informed me it is a "work in progress". Well, that should not be at my expense! Service problems again and again - no voice mail in my room, inadequate telephone... More

If you're visiting NY from afar and especially with family and you get a good rate ($200) then this is probably a good deal. Starbucks off lobby. 2 decent restaurants connected to hotel. Location is great for the tourist. If you don't fit into that category - I come to NY regularly but not always for work - then not... More

Nice property with a good vibe. The art deco lobby is nice. Check-in excellent. Room was great on a high floor away from traffic noises, it was well appointed but cramped. The bathroom was something else, it gave new meaning to the word TINY. We are talking UNCOMFORTABLY tiny. My room number was 2107 - avoid the 07 numbers unless... More

Looks like it has been recently renovated, so rooms look great and new, very very nice lobby, friendly staff. Overall perfect hotel comparing to crazy NY's pricey hotels this one is a real gem! Would totally recommend! Keep in mind that almost no hotels in NY offer a good view, so just keep the blinds shut :)

Got a room on the 21st floor, away from the sounds of traffic. Our room was by the elevator but was still very quiet. Room was small, as expected in NYC, but clean and with all the amenities you need. The elevators were fast, never had to spend time waiting for the elevator. Also there is a Starbucks connected to... Arrived on August 9th for a one night stay. An easy 5 minute walk from the subway station after flying into LGA. After taking the quick express bus from LGA to the subway staion our total cost was $2.50 per person. Unlike prior reviews the staff could not have more welcoming. Our Platinum upgrade was a larger king room with... More
