I stayed here approximately 7 times this fall. It's in a great location. Close to everything but not too close that you are swamped with crowds. The rooms are small (but this is NYC -so it's expected). The rooms & decor are unique, making it feel like a boutique hotel. One area for improvement - I knew I would be... More

We stayed for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, this hotel is really well-located in NYC, many places are easily walkable, the staff were exceptionally helpful and cooperative despite being overworked with endless people and luggage and questions - parking is expensive, but competitive with other hotels, very crowded in the lobby area because that's where the wifi is and it's... Stayed here for a quick Christmas getaway with the wife. Great lobby, full of life and people having a nice time. Check in was extremely efficient, room was clean and done nicely, a bit small for a long stay. We had drinks in the lobby and met one of the hotel managers, Jamie, he was great, extremely accommodating in every... More

Stayed on business at the start of December - whilst it was likely priced in advance of Christmas, one night was $549. This hotel is very basic. The room I had was OK but very run down and tired. The sheets weren't well fitted or tucked in every night so by the time I woke up in the morning, they... More

Stayed here running up to Christmas. Staff were wonderful and very helpful and accommodating. The room was small but clean and well appointed. We would have liked a small fridge and some drink making facilities but we managed without. The location is great because everywhere you would need to get to is easily accessible but it's far enough away from... More

I couldn't think of anything wrong with this hotel. If it fits your budget, I'd recommend to anyone. Brilliant location, friendly staff and comfortable, clean, modern rooms. From this location your could walk to Central Park, the Rockerfeller, Empire State Building and Times Square very easily within 15 minutes.

we were here the week before Christmas and had a great time. Room is a good size (especially for NY) and was kept clean every day in the morning by friendly people. The bed was good. I liked the lobby where you can have your breakfast from the Starbucks next door in the morning or have a drink in the... More

1 night stay at this property as a result of failure in hot water and heat at Hilton Manhattan East Hotel is relatively small but is quite artistic. The decor had a funky feeling and feels very chic in a historical building. While rooms are a bit on the small side, it is well appointed and good for a comfortable... More

Very convenient location and a hotel with class. It's very busy. I highly recommend to try to check-in as early as possible and use the phone app if you can to check-in, too. We noticed there are lines in the late afternoon for check-in's. While most are not able to accommodate early check-in's, it's worth the shot to try to... More

Stayed 1 night during the Holiday season. Location is excellent - within a short walk of Rockefeller Center/Radio City, etc. The hotel lobby is very nice. The hotel bar is also very nice. All of the personnel that we came into contact with were very nice. The rooms are small (but that's the standard in NYC). My one issue with... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
