We stayed here for 3 nights & we absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic & is very central to everywhere - Times Sq, Rockefeller Centre, 5th Avenue. The room was compact but was totally fine for what we needed & the decor was classy & welcoming. The service from all the staff was fabulous, from the minute we arrived... More

I'm a discerning traveler with near-weekly visits to New York and have stayed in every range of hotel. Location, Location: You're sandwiched with Times Square on one side and Rock Center on the other side, and I could just roll out of bed and walk to work in a snap: easy peasy. I cannot tell you how many times I... More

We always prefer a smaller boutique style hotel when visiting a city and so chose the Sanctuary based on excellent reviews on TA. Our 6 night stay was fantastic and definitely enhanced our experience of New York. Location is spot on, within walking distance of many places of interest and close to the subway if necessary. Also good to be... More

Stayed here for 1 week. These guys are the most helpful friendliest people I have stayed with. Nothing was too much trouble. The Rooftop Bar / Resturant and downstairs Resturant served great food and drinks. The best location with easy access to everything. Highly recommend them.

This boutique hotel was the perfect choice for my first trip to New York. We chose it based on the location and the value for money. The hotel is a short walk away from various subway stations, times square, magnolia bakery and Broadway theaters. Continental breakfast and WIFI were included which is quite rare for NY hotels. The staff are... More

The second you walk into the hotel you're already amazed because it's so beautifully furnished. The staff couldn't be more helpful if they tried. 100% customer satisfaction of the staff working. The roof top was like something I've never seen. The bartender Tasha felt like our best friend by the time we left. Extremely good customer service and friendliness. The... More

Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful staff (especially the concierge service). Nearly all tourist attractions are within walking distance and if not there is a metro station nearby. The complimentary breakfast is more than adequate with scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, numerous pastries, porridge, various breads, tea, coffee, juice etc etc. The reception area also offers free tea and coffee... Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Also the location of the hotel couldn't be any better. It was overall very clean and modern! It was very reasonably priced. This hotel made my first trip to NYC even better.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
