The hotel is really very good and really well located. Rooms as large and updated. HUGE TV (but who needs a tv in NY), extremely clean, well taken care off. Bathroom is very nice, although some fixtures need fixing (nothing major). The place is also abotu location...great location. Two blocks from Central Park, few blocks from Central Square and many... The stay at Park central has compelled me to leave a review for the hotel.....except the location the hotel has all negatives and weird rules..... 1 A compulsory charge of $ 28 per night for gym, wifi access and cloak room whether you use it or not. 2 restrooms at the lobby work with room keys...... Which means the hotel... More

The Park Central provided the perfect home base for ourselves and our two kids (aged 7 and 9). Located just a few blocks south of Central Park and a few blocks north of Times Square and Broadway, we were close to everything we wanted to do (or to transportation to get around). There's a great diner across the street for... More

Had a great stay at the Park Central. Hotel is very close to Times Square and Central Park. Hotel was clean and the rooms were large enough to accommodate 2 tall teenage boys, my husband and myself. Would definitely stay here again.

Cant really fault the hotel at all. We had two rooms which were spotlessly cleaned everyday. Great bathrooms with toiletries. The boys used the gym a few times. Thought the smell in reception was fresh, nice bar area although prices a bit steep (as expected). Asked for a coffee machine and it was in the room when we arrived and... More

Travelled with my wife & baby son of 13 mths to NY for a few days. My wife booked this hotel 2 mths in advance & had well informed the hotel of our little boy. There was a restaurant, menu, pictures etc all advertised so why even ask. Well what she did ask was would there be milk available for... More

I am writing this review as I am sitting in my room! We stopped by New York after traveling to the east coast for a few events. I've read some poor reviews on various sites but decided to stay at Park Central anyways since the price and location were good. Big mistake! We arrived at the hotel past midnight after... More

The hotel seemed very nice, we booked a premium room and was a bit disapointed that premium rooms start on 11th floor and that's the floor we end up on. Was hoping for a room on a higher floor. An issue also occured with the room on the 2nd night of our weekend stay. Water started leaking into the room... More

Having been living in New York on and off for the past 15 years, I must conclude that this stay at the Park Central was a pleasant, and positive experience, in the sense that the room is huge. The room size is at least 500 sq ft, and the location of the hotel was central to Central Park, and most... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
