Great location, I was pleasantly surprised by the room quality - though small, it was comfortable. The staff were generally very helpful but two in particular were very helpful at the front desk and concierge (Ms Carolyn Smith & Julissa Delacruz respectively). I was very disappointed in the gym though, it was not only small it had limited equipment and... More

I wanted to stay here because of the history and the reviews we read. We are very familiar with NYC and have stayed in hotels all over the city for the past 25 years. To start off with, it was a Friday afternoon at peak check in time and they only had TWO agents. The check in line was back... More

We took our kids to NY for their first visit in May. We chose the Park Central for it's location and based on website pictures and reviews. The lobby was lovely and smelled great so we thought we were off to a good start. However the room we were put in was directly in front of the elevators. Not exactly... More

We stayed with our 10-year-old in July, had a great experience. Room was large for Manhattan, esp. at the price point. Our room on 11th floor was clean, updated, and quiet. No complaints at all on accommodations. And the location is perfect for Central Park, Times Square, Broadway, Rockefeller Center, and is well-situated relative to many subway lines. Only complaint... This hotel was in a good location, close to Times Square but without the crowds and noise. Customer service was good and the rooms were clean and good size for NY. But, you would think with such a big hotel there would be room service which they did not have.

My husband and I recently stayed in this hotel and it was awesome. We really were central to everything. We walked just about everywhere and the subway station was right there as well. The hotel was very luxurious everyone was nice and everything was very clean. The only complaint I had was the little store was super expensive, but that's... More

This hotel is very nice with a wonderful, helpful staff. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were sparkling but had a shower only, which was fine but I know some people prefer tubs. The location was great for Central Park and Times Square. There are subway stops nearby. I would definitely stay here again. There is a... More

Unbeatable location, lots of restaurants around the hotel, close to Times Square, and right next to subway station. Good price. It's considerable cheap with a place in this location. Not very quiet at night probably because I was on 5th floor only. Comfy bed and tidy.

Even if the price is a bit high, rooms are nice and well equipped. Staff is professional and efficient. The best about this hotel is its location near Central Park, in front of Carnegie Hall and 10-15 minutes walk from Time Square !

The hotel was great, we received a complementary upgrade as it was our anniversary so we had a higher floor. The room was clean and light, and overall we enjoyed our stay. However we also stayed in another hotel whilst in New York which felt much more personal and we felt much more welcomed by the staff. So perhaps this... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
