Typical 3 star hotel, nothing special. Great location though! The rooms are tiny, two doubles :( The ice machine/vending were not working on three floors we tried. Cheap for new york though. The worst place I stayed in NYC, try the Affinia Manhattan or Embassy Suites, same prices but MUCH better! more

This was my first time in NYC and was not sure on which hotel to stay at. I am glad I chose this one. Hotel is located about 3 blocks from Central Park, Right next to the subway out the back door, very close to 5th Ave for shopping and Time Square is close enough to walk to. Rooms were... more

I have stayed here many times over the last several years. While many hotels are nicer, I haven't found a better hotel for the money when traveling on my own nickel. This is a 3 star hotel, comparable to a Sheraton or Hilton in all but rate. I don't bother searching for low rates in New York and just book... more

(Date of stay - June 29-July 4) Having read the hotel reviews before I got there, I was expecting the worst. This hotel seemed like the best deal out of all the other packages that I looked at on Expedia, and the location was the best for our needs as well. It is close (5-10min walk) to TImes Square AND... more

An ideal hotel for the family or group booking with friends. No frills but good sized rooms. Located in a central location ideal for Parks,Midtown and the West side. Great staff, very good Theatre booking service,1st rate and better than some of the more high end hotels. Only minor downpoint would be the lift, takes ages! so do as we did and... more

We arrived early and were able to check in at 1:00! (I called ahead) We wanted to make the most of our stay so right after checking in we headed out to explore the city. The location is great! The subway is right next to the hotel, Times Square is a few blocks away and so is Central Park! We... more

It's a nice hotel. The rooms are clean, and the service is very good. It was significantly cheaper than some of the more expensive ones in the city. I thought it was a great value. more

On the corner with a yellow subway line and a Starbucks! What more could you ask for? Its within easy walking distance of Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Carnegie Hall... just to name a few. Room rates were good and there were just a few minor issues such as our keys quit working late one night for no reason... more

Together with friends we were for one full week in the Park Central hotel in NY. The room was fine, the staff throughout the hotel was always polite but not effective when a problem arises... at check-in we had to wait for two hours at five in the afternoon because the room was not ready. Also by mid week we... more
