This hotel was great it was located near the theatres, Central Park, Time Square and 5th Avenue. The rooms were clean and the hotel was beautiful. The staff was very pleasant and most of all the price was much more reasonable then any other hotel in the area and just as good. We would recommend this hotel and will definitely... More

I made a reservation through my points from my American Express Platinum card and the attention that I received was not the same, that if I had paid directly to the hotel . I got a room with defects and bad location very noise, close to the elevador. Definitely, in the future, I will not repeat this hotel

Park Central is in the perfect location...just blocks away from Central Park, Broadway, Rockefeller Center and Carnegie Hall. There are many excellent restaurants in the area. The hotel is fine. They have recently updated all the rooms with new showers, bedding, etc. The bathrooms are very small but adequate for showering, etc. Internet was painfully slow. Bed was comfortable. Lobby bar... Our Mother/Daughter weekend was enhanced by our perfect room with plenty of space for four grown ladies and a large bath (by NYC standards)...and after a day of walking and dinners out we slept like queens on the perfect beds and the sounds of the city were drowned out by the fan we controlled next to the window-blissful nights of... My wife and I stayed there for 4 nights. Room was nice and a good size with a great bathroom. Only 5 minutes walk from Central Park and 10 minutes walk from Times Square. Lots of eating places in the immediate area although these were expensive. Take a stroll to 9th and 10th avenue for better options.

Such a beautiful room, wonderful location! A little on the pricey side but the room is worth it. My only complaint with the room itself is that no matter how many lights/lamps we turned on the room was always very very dark. Everytime we tried to use the wifi it asked for a email address, upon entering our email address... More

I just stayed at the Park Central NYC solo last week for 5 days and it was great! Park Central is well located (and well maintained) so that you are not on top of "too loud" Broadway/Central Park/Shopping but in short safe walking distance to your 7th Avenue/56th Street home at the Park Central Hotel/NY. Subway N/R is at the... More

Very close to Central Park and within walking distance to many places. Hotel was remodeled not long ago and is very nicely decorated. The beds were delicious. We did not get maid service so we reused towels which were kind of damp. We liked the little market in the lobby where you could buy snacks.

We stayed at Park Central for a Bachelor and Bachelorette Party. We're from New Jersey so we weren't looking for anything super nice, just somewhere we can sleep so we didn't have to drive home that night. We were very surprised at how nice the rooms were! Everything was clean and modern. We had a great experience with the hotel... More

We really enjoyed staying at Park Central. It's a terrific location and the rooms are quiet, comfortable and nicely done. We would definitely stay here again. We were in walking distance of Broadway shows, Central Park, Union Station, Metropolitan Museum of Art and Carnegie Hall was across the street. Great restaurants were located near the hotel too. The hotel itself... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
