Service staff training and staffing are very positive since the renovation. We were greeted with a smile by the bellman. The front desk person that checked us in had very positive restaurant suggestions. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. Overall, location across the street from Carnegie Hall was good Recommend for a weekend getaway

I have previously stayed in this hotel before the renovation & had such an amazing holiday that i decided to come back and stay in the newly renovated Park Central & i was not disappointed. Beautifully renovated & my room was big for a NYC hotel. I was on the 17th floor with beautiful views of the city. Perfect location... More

I love older New York City Hotels, especially when they get a redesign! An unexpected weather travel delay, found us getting routed to NYC for a night. We love Molyvos Restaurant across the street, so the location was perfect, with Central Park, Times Square beckoning in either direction. From the moment we entered, every staff member was kind and accomodating.... More

Been twice to this Hotel, & will be staying there again in March 2015. We can't wait. Centrally located in the heart of NY & walking distance to Times Square, the theatre & shopping. This will definitely not be our last time in NY & definitely not our last time at The Park Central Hotel. We love the ambience &... More

My girlfriend and i stayed here 5 nights in februari 2015. Hotel is Very good. Nice rooms, perfect location. Few minutes walk to central park and times square. Its a expensive location (5 dollar water in deli, 6,50 in hotel!), so bring youre own. Staff could get better. Ar 16.00 check in, there was a big line and only one... More

The hotel is perfectly situated on 7th Avenue and when you walk out of the hotel you can see Central Park to your left and Time Square to your right. This is a well located and inexpensive hotel, with spacious rooms. There is no restaurant however and I wish there was at least a coffee maker in the room. There are many places to eat nearby however. Staff was pleasant. Nice fitness center. Will stay there again.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
