We had a very pleasant experience staying here last weekend. The lobby is inviting, staff is friendly and the location can't be beat if you're going to see a show or just want to be near Time Square. The rooms are compact, but for the extremely reasonable price we paid, what would one expect in NYC? The beds were very... More

I've been in a couple of botique hotels here in NY and around the price range of what Paramount is at. This is by far the second worst hotel I've been in. The room is so tiny and the bathroom especially the sink is so cheap looking and seems flimsy (seemed to be made of some aluminum metal). barely any... More

Just left the Paramount yesterday after a 3 night stay. The location of the hotel is awesome. We were there for the plays and a bit of tourist activity. We only used a taxi once and that was because it would have been a ten block walk in the rain. The hotel is dead center in the Broadway. Service at... More

Our room was so tiny it was pathetic - even by New York standards but the worst part of this hotel is the bad service. It was raining like cats and dogs, while we were at the hotel, but we were not allowed to borrow an umbrella even though the doorman had 3 umbrellas available. So bring your own if... More

Please allow me to apologize that your room was not what was expected. Our rooms do tend to be on the cozier side of things due to the location and historic architect, however, we have various sized rooms that may have accommodated your needs better. As for the umbrella, it is certainly not our intention to not allow our guests... More

Although it was nye 2011, the service was fantastic, the security, the decoration of the room. Food is a bit expensive but you got a Dean and DeLuca as well as many pizza places around. I just would recommend a little more control on rooms. We got there at three AM and they gave us the key of a too.... More

amazing lobby. tiny rooms but efficient. tiny elevators.great location and worth the money but it could have been cleaner....my bed sheets didn't fit the bed. if I was going to stay in time square again I would most likely try out a different hotel. over all this hotel was nice and very original.

The Paramount is a great hotel for the Big Apple. It's your typical small room but very comfortable. Nice, clean, comfortable place to lay your head. You can't beat this location. The lobby is extra sleek with a DJ :)

Room was ready earlier than promised. Very convenient to Times Square. Subway station, restaurants, and large drugstore within walking distance. Modern decor. Room was very clean. Hot water and heater worked well, which was appreciated by this southerner during frigid NYC nights. The price was very reasonable, and I would stay here again

To start, the service here was fantastic. From the moment we walked up (helpful bellman) to the check-in process to the housekeeping and restaurant staff, everyone we encountered was super friendly and helpful. Even the night time "security" by the elevators asking for a room key was nice. Others have complained that is weird, but I like knowing the extra... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
