Just returned from a four night stay at the paramount after a two week holiday in US. It was the worst hotel of the trip. With the exception of one person, staff were unfriendly. We had a problem with our ac and complained on the second day and an engineer was sent up - this did not solve the problem.... more

The hotel is in an ideal location close to 5th Avenue and Times Square (nothing to really do in Times Square but). The room is seriously tiny with a decent sized bathroom. The rooms are missing a lot of the finishing touches, doors are really old and don't look like they can stand much, the tv was an old 14/17... more

What can I say but th location to this hotel is absolutly perfect. Just a short walk (100m or so) to Time Square and in the heart of the theatre district, opposite Billy Elliott. I would most definatly stay here again and would recommend all my friends/ family to stay there. The rooms are small, but this is compared to... more

We stayed at the Paramount in June for five days and it was just perfect. The location was perfect, beds comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. We were three adults in the room and there was enough space for the three of us and our luggage. We paid $150 per night....it was just perfect! more

After booking the hotel I read a lot of the reviews and began to worry. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. We had a King Deluxe room. The room itself was somewhat small, but that is to be expected in NYC. It was incrediblely clean and the Air Conditioner was quiet and very effective. The front desk staff,... more

My spouse and myself have spent one night last Sunday at the Paramount NY. We have booked our hotel on Orbitz and the deal sounded very good at a first glance ($140) as it was supposed to be a 4 star hotel very well located. We have been extremelly disappointed when we entered in the double room. It was an... more

To begin with my AC did not work. There was no guide to tell me how to call the front desk. There was no ice bucket and I could not find an ice machine. Perhaps the guide they never provided would have told me that the 4th floor had the only ice machine in a 17 story hotel. After almost... more

We booked to stay for 3 nights in June and thought the hotel looked pretty good on the web site. We got a good-ish deal on a King room which included breakfast so we were quite chuffed with ourselves. We mentioned when booking that we wanted a room with no feather pillows etc due to an allergy. So after leaving... more

The location of the Paramount is superb - about 3 minutes from Times Square. It is true that the hotel is undergoing renovations, but these only affects the lobby and the bar, but not the rooms, which are all newly furnished, clean and comfortable (we were a party of three in a family room on the 11 floor) and we... more
