We stayed at the Marriott Marquis for five nights for our first wedding anniversary. We originally wanted to have a beach holiday but opted for something different and certainly weren't disappointed! We were lucky enough to have a view of Times Square from our window with the Empire State appearing in the background - fantastic. The lifts (or elevators) were... More

Came to New York all the way from sunny Edinburgh - Scotland for my 40th birthday, MM was fantastic, the whole hotel was always immaculate and the staff were falling over themselves to be helpful. The room was spacious, beds a little too soft for my liking but the linen felt very luxurious on my poor tired feet at the... More

I spent 5 nights at the MM with my wife and my 9 years old daughter. Everything was perfect! Great location, room spacious and clean,a terrific view on Times square. The staff was extremely friendly. Absolutely no problems with the elevators.I reccomend this hotel, specially if you travel with kids, for them the MM is like Disneyland! Volubilis. MILANO (ITALY)

I almost made the mistake of booking another hotel, just to revisit some of my old haunts in the City. I am so glad that I didn't as the Marquis was the perfect host. They have overcome the nightmares of getting stuck in the elevators between floors and the endless overcrowding and waiting on them. The new system worked perfectly.... More

If you are going to go to New York's Times Square for New Years Eve then THIS is the hotel to stay in. From about 3pm onwards, the Square is full of revellers and closed to anyone else. The Marriott gave us a specially-printed room-key for the night which counted as a pass that allowed us through each of the... More

Having never stayed in a Marriott before, and not expecting much we were pleasantly surprised. My husband and I took our three daughters for one night because my husband had a business meeting very early the next meeting. We had 2 connecting rooms. Usually our hotels of preference when staying in NYC are W Hotels. The meeting was at the... More

My first ever visit to New York was spent at the Marriot Marquis. This was a "special occasion" family break between 29/12/2007 and 2/1/2008 so we were here for New Year. We had asked for a low floor with connecting rooms and these were duly waiting for us on the 16th floor. The rooms were luxurious and huge with fantastic... More

OK, so maybe this isn't the place to stay if you're on a strict budget, but quite honestly then NYC may not be the town for you! This is one very pricey city! The Marquis is a very upscale hotel right in the heart of the theatre district and some of the best eateries NY has to offer. For the... More
