Hotel delivered what you would expect from a major Downtown hotel. Outstanding front desk person. She found out that it was our 35th wedding anniversary and sent a bottle of wine and chocolate strawberries to the room. Revolving bar at the top was worth a visit once. Central location can't be beat.

As my husband says, it costs to breath in Manhattan. However, if you are going to stay, stay well. Be comfortable. This is the second time we have stayed here and both times have been very good. The service is excellent. Check in is quick and flawless and this property is huge. Moving up and down the elevators (27 floors)... More

I was here on business for 2 nights. I don't really see this as a business hotel, but if you are seeing a Broadway show or want the cool NYC vibe, this is a good choice. Pros: My room had a direct view of Times Square. Made for cool pics. The room itself was very large for a NYC room,... More

This is a very beautiful hotel with a prime location. Of course there are pluses and minuses. Being right near Times Square is simply Great. Having a view of Times Square from your window makes your stay much more enjoyable. Having a decent size room with a King bed in a location as Times Square is nice. But all this... More

We are a family of six, we stayed for three nights in August. As soon as we arrived the staff were fantastically helpful. They made sure our rooms were next door to each other & sorted out all our luggage. We had great views of Times Square from our rooms. The hotel also has a bar The View on the... More

Thank you for choosing our hotel and taking the time to provide your review. It's wonderful that we were able to make your arrival seamless and that you got to enjoy many of the different amenities that we offer. Stayed one night and everything was great. Staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Couldn't ask for better location. Rooms were very nice. Probably could use a little updating but it didn't bother us as we don't stay in the room much. LOVE the Marriott beds.. So comfortable. Overall a wonderful experience and I can't wait to come back.

Our family visited NYC to see the holiday light show that can only be seen during this time of the year. It was a whirlwind 3 days, but it was worth the craziness!! We loved the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. Perfect location for us. We walked pretty much everywhere. We upgraded to a Times Square view room. We had... More

Honestly, I wasn't a big fan. I didn't order any room service, but did order food and had it delivered via Seamless.com, I just had to go down to the main elevator bank/security desk to pick it up. Huge fitness center. The bar/lounge on level 8 has amazing pizza if you're hungry late night and want to pay about $30... More

It was worse than Motel 6. No style, no rhyme nor reason. Food was terrible, although I did not go to the sky high, high end? restaurant at the top of the Hotel. Staff was nice enough and its location is superb. To think I paid around $500.00 a night is insulting to me. You are in the center of... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
