Its probably the best name around Times Square but I guess its more like a very well maintained building rather than it being a hotel - that too having Marriott in its name. I am sure the founders or management probably have not visited this to take a critical look for over years. I found the entire staff at this... More

The New York Marriott Marquis is located in the heart of times square.. We had upgraded to a 'corner' room with a view but the view was of side streets and parking lots. Luckily after speaking with one of the agents at the counter we were relocated to a beautiful room with a great view of times square which was... More

The Marriott Marquis is literally situated in the heart-beat of the Big Apple. Located on Times Square, Broadway, the theater district and "restaurant row" on E46th Street, it is ideal in location of one likes activity! The rooms are well appointed, clean with all the amenities. The staff is professional and helpful, despite being one of the busiest hotels in... More

This hotel in the hart of times square is really good, Luz from front desk especially, she was always willing to help us and make our stay the best, personal and warm service from her. The hotel is clean, house keeping really good, the gift shop, modern elevators. It was a shame to see the attitude of a receptionist (she... More

Took my mom for her 75th birthday to NYC for the weekend. I have been to NY before and wanted to make things as easy as possible for mom. Although the facade is under construction on Broadway the hotel was very clean and organized inside. We breezed through reception and were given our rooms with early check-in no problem. These... My sister and I stayed at this hotel from May 15, 2015 to May 18th, 2015. It is the BEST location in Times Square. Everything you need is at your finger tips. We walked to Central Park and it was not far. We took a cab to Chinatown and decided to walk back to the hotel, that was far however... More

Perfect location with great service and easy access to trains and bus. Easy walking to lots of activities. The street is alive day and night. Learn the elevator system right away--you put your destination in on the wall and need to remember which elevator to use. Beds are good, rooms are clean, taxis are there all the time.

Liked the hotel. Marriott has a certain look and feel. The front desk gave us a free upgrade to club level because we were staying a week. The location was great, right in the heart of Times Square. The only thing that we didn't really like was that the hotel was so busy that it felt like we were still... More

Marriott Marquis is an excellent hotel in Times Square in New York City. It has the supposedly only rotating restaurant in New York, a very popular late night spot. We ate there for dinner and Sunday Brunch. They have a fixed menu for dinner at a price of $84. The brunch was $57. Excellent service and food. The hotel itself... More

Perfect location in the heart of NYC. Lots within walking distance and very convenient to public transportation, theaters, and shopping. The service was excellent, food was good. Our room was very comfortable, spacious, and had a great view. We'd stay here again when in the area.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
