We spent July 3-7 at the Marriott Marquis and had a wonderful stay. The service at the front desk, concierge, and housekeeping were all excellent. Though located in the heart of Times Square, it was very quiet and restful even on a holiday weekend. The room was very clean, spacious, and attractive. We were in NYC mainly for theater, so... more

I cannot praise this hotel enough. I've traveled the world and stayed at what I thought were 5 star hotels. NONE of them came close to the Marquis. The service was the finest I have experienced. I found a deal -4th night free-and jumped at it. I've always wanted to stay here and I was NOT disappointed. From the room... more

What a great hotel. It is located right in the heart of Times Square and within walking distance of most theatres, shopping, David Letterman (Ed Sullivan Theatre) etc. We booked a package with a standard room. I called a couple of days early and said that I would be interested in an upgrade. I didn't see the room that I... more

We have stayed at other hotels at Times Square, some much more expensive, but this one is a keeper. Perfect location and has everything we wanted, unlike some hotels that have a bar that does not serve food. We will go back to the Marriott Marquis every visit to New York. more

I stayed here with 3 teenage girls. We booked two rooms. When we checked in they didn't have any rooms close together only time square view rooms for an exra $100 I had requested this when making reservation months ago.. I wanted to keep an eye on them so I took the upgrade. Glad we did the view was incredible.... more

My first reaction staying here was: "Wow, what a lot of tourists!" and was kind of worried that I'd be awake all night listening to people partying in their rooms, street noise, etc. But that wasn't the case. My room was on a high floor and well insulated against noise. You heard some stuff, but once you draw the curtains,... more

I accompanied my husband, his colleagues and their wives to New York on 18.06.09. All of us, plus all of the other conference guests (300+), stayed in this hotel, which also hosted the event and several of the receptions. All in all I would most certainly recommend this hotel. It is in a great location and pretty central for most of... more

I stayed here for 1 night, for a business trip & was VERY occupied w/ the business...all conducted within the hotel. so no great recollection of many things about the hotel, but I can tell you: - The room was nice; think I had a King bed - No view worth remembering, which is disappointing when you're in Times Square... more

I love the location of this hotel - the view outside my window was directly onto Times Square. And being able to walk right out the front of the hotel and directly onto Times Square and all the nearby shops and restaurants is very convenient and not to mention quicker by not having to fight cab traffic. And if you... more

Plain and simply the best hotel in Time Square. Best lobby bar in time square with the best TS views, roof top rotating restaurant bar, 40 story lobby atrium.....It is located right in the heart of time square. At check in I was given an upgrade to a suite which was an amazing blessing considering we were traveling with 2... more
