We stayed here very recently and it was amazing. We got put into room 4312 (43rd floor out of 45) which was nice but the next morning my dad had a cold and was burning up so my mom and I moved rooms but my dad stayed in 4312 and my mom and I got put into 4508 (Top Floor)... More

We traveled to NYC for my daughters sweet 16. It was her dream to see NYC decorated for the holidays. Despite the full capacity of the hotel, everyone we encountered was super friendly and Helpful. The rooms are huge! And very, very quiet! You can't ask for a better location in the heart of it all. I need to give... More

This is the perfect hotel for tourists. You are right in the heart of Times Square, essentially the pulse of the city. You have easy access to Broadway, many great restaurants, and there is are subway stations within a few blocks to take you everywhere else in NYC. The hotel itself is huge. Service is very good, there usually is... More

Evidently this is the largest hotel in New York and is well located in Time Square. However there are some issues due to the large clientèle. The double bedroom was adequate but in a four star hotel I would have expected a bath and a shower to be provided. The bathroom floor was clean but not squeaky clean and clearly... More

Really liked this hotel... Clean... Spacious rooms and awesome location right in the middle of times square. The entrance was being renovated which was a bit problematic. I will sure go back there. There is an awesome bar with a magnificient view.

Times Square location is unbeatable if you want to see some shows and famous landmarks. Hotel is swarming with employees to help with anything and everything. I've never seen a concierge desk so fully staffed. My only disappointment was the View, their rooftop buffet restaurant which was overpriced for a scant set of offerings.

My wife and I stayed here Dec 7 to Dec 13. It is in the middle of everything! Right on Time's Square, a short walk Rockefeller center, a short walk to Harold Square & a short subway ride to the 9/11 Memorial. The staff were always helpful. The hotel is top shape. And to top it all off they have... More

Spent an amazing 5 days in New York for the Greater New York Dental Conference and I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Right in the middle of Time Square which was the perfect location for doing anything in the city that never sleeps. The staff were incredible, the lobby bar was so cool and we met one... More

My wife and I stayed here for about 7 nights as my wife had a conference there. This is an excellent location for theatres, places of interest, Empire State Building and famous streets such as fifth ave and Madison ave. you don't need a car in New York. Subway to ground zero and buses everywhere else. Lots of places within... More

From the Marriott Marquis, you can walk just about anywhere. Great location in Times Square/Theatre District. Friendly staff and predictable, comfortable Marriott stay. Great bed after enjoying the city all day and returning tired. Great views. We had a corner room, so the views were even more expansive. It is a very busy hotel to be sure, but look where... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
