Hotel is situated on 39 street, so it's very easy to reach also from the airport. Very clean, because they clean it everyday although it's an apartment. A kitchen is nice to have to make coffee during the day. It was also very warm with the heater.

I guess I can see how this place appeals to certain travelers -- students, vagabonds, bootstrapping entrepreneurs. Was in NY for business. A day trip turned into an overnight and I needed a room last minute. Took a chance on a 3 star "deal" on Hotwire and this is where I landed. I was immediately concerned when I looked at... More

I ended up staying here after a blind Priceline bid. The room is huge by NYC standards. It comes with a four-burner gas kitchenette, a small dining area, a couch/tv area, a queen bed and a decent sized bathroom. While the finishings are a bit dated, everything was very clean and well-maintained. It is close to Grand Central and walkable... More

Having read many of the reviews for this hotel on Tripadvisor we spent 5 nights there in September and were extremely happy we chose it. You couldn't ask for more helpful and friendly staff on Reception, especially Santa in our case. We were given a Junior Suite without asking for an upgrade. Okay, the decor in the room was a... More

This was our second stay at Murray Hill and it was an overall pleasant experience as before. This was a rather last minute booking and we were doubly pleased when we found that we were upgraded to a king suite. The staff is very helpful and attentive here, striving to personally resolve any problem. We had a problem with our... More

The Murray Hill Suites where perfectly located near Grand Central for our escape to Flushing Meadows for US Open Tennis and an easy walk to Broadway for a Play. Inexpensive for NYC and nice friendly staff. The large rooms are a bit dated with tiny bathroom but you get a kitchen and the most comfortable bed I've slept on in... More

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and got a brilliant deal. The room was huge, bigger than most New York apartments, and included a sofa, dining area and kitchen. The staff were really helpful and the location is amazing. Would go back tomorrow and would highly recommend.

For the price, the convenience of the location is hard to beat. I always use Grand Central station as the starting point to go around the city and it is only 3 blocks away from the hotel. The rooms are classified as suites and are spacious. Mine had a kitchen. There is some street noise that comes into the room,... More

I'm a native New Yorker that relocated to San Diego two years ago. This trip back home was going to be filled with lots of emotion. I'm happy to report that staying in a hotel that made me feel like I was just coming home after a long day at work made me feel like I never left. I'm looking... More

We have stayed at the Murray Hill East Suites several times over the years and have never been disappointed, and we were not disappointed on our most recent trip either. It is a great place to stay in New York City for a reasonable price. My wife and I have tried similarly priced NYC hotels in the past and have... More
