Not a bad option for the price we paid. The suites were spacious, although very dated. Our junior suite could have easily slept about 5 people, comfortably. The suite also contained a kitchenette area, although there was no microwave, toaster, or can opener. The coffee maker looked like it had seen better days. The room was pretty clean, but the... More

Top notch value close by everything with easy access to Grand Central Station. Quiet, tree-lined block with plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. Whether one is staying overnight or a week or more, Murray Hill East offers outstanding comfort at an affordable price.

Still a great place, great location, 3 blocks from Grand Central Station and centrally situated for walking in every direction with shops, bars, banks, restaurants, etc, all within one block. We had requested a Studio suite but was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite (Room 905) on check in at no extra cost. The kitchenette was sparsely equipped and I... More

I have been so many times to New York and have been living in different hotels. What you learn is that there very often is no connection between price and quality. This is the hotel I would like to stay in - in the future - after the experience I had with them three nights. Yes, it is old. Yes,... More

The good thing about this hotel is that it is located next to the Grand Central Station, not only a touristic place, but also a metro sation, wich makes it easy to go to other parts of the city. Also, it is in a walking distance from other places as the Empire State Building, 5th Avenue and Times Square. The... More

Okay so it's not brand new and fitments are rather dated but for clean, spacious accommodation in a great location I would highly recommend this hotel. All staff were friendly and helpful. We were 4 friends sharing and had two rooms plus well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Two double beds and one king sized comfortable bed settee meant two had... More

We stayed at this 'suites' hotel in mid-may 2014. Rooms were large, cleaned daily. There were plenty of local shops and eateries. When we were there they were experiencing an early hot spell and the air-conditioning didn't really work which made the nights uncomfortable as if you opened the windows the noise of the street would keep you awake. But... More

Well, my room was great and big. Location is very good. However, by the price of this hotel they should provide free wi if to all its customers. There are usually a lot of people in the lobby area using the only spot of free wi fi in the whole hotel building.

My wife and I stayed here for five nights in early May. We booked it through priceline.com and got a good deal. When we checked in we were upgraded to a junior suite which is basically a one bedroom flat with a lounge cum dining area, a bedroom with queen bed and a kitchenette. The kitchenette comes with a fridge,... More
