Very easy check-in with Marriott's mobile smartphone check-in app. Room, on the 32nd floor, was perfect in every way, except the TV reception, via satellite I believe, was a bit fuzzy. Large group meeting in their banquet facilities did not seem to faze them. Hotel has an on-site Starbucks and a FedEx Office Center. Their restaurants and bar were very... More

Excellent reception! Mr. M.Lyerto, op.mgr., is very nice and welcome me very very good. (pls. apologize if I write his name wrong.) And very much appreciate Ms.Andrea's hospitality at first sight. Fortunately your hotel has got these 2 valuable staff who make your hotel impressed me.

Very expensive. No free internet in rooms only in lobby. Driving directions to hotel very complicated and unclear. Got my own directions from map, no problem. Room ok but drapes were falling off rods. Concierge never showed up in 3 days. Front desk not helpful. It was clean and a great location for 9/11 museum. Also close to Hudson River... More

The rooms date from Marriott's rather bland design era and are large but nothing special. The hotel restaurant is a burger bar with a pedestrian menu--one night closing time was at 1030 (so much for the "city that never sleeps"). The lobby bar was closed more often than not during our stay. That said, the staff is excellent. The doorman... More

I had a nice 22nd floor corner room, slightly larger than the average Manhattan hotel room. Front desk service was good and chocolate cookies inidividually wrapped was a nice touch. Concierge was someone you had to wait on from the front desk staff. What turned me down was somewhat overpriced mediocre food available on premise. Menu limited to burgers, in... More

Great hotel for the 9/11 Museum and other southern attractions. Not far from China town or Little Italy. Had a great dinner at the recommended Bobby Vans. Room was nice size, bed very comfortable. Room in pristine condition! Fitness center was spectacular and my run along the Hudson River was fantastic!!

I was here for a legal conference this month. The rooms were nice ... We upgraded to a higher room for a Hudson River view for $20 more on the 36th floor, which was worth it. Service in the rooms was good, and the hotel was well maintained and tasteful. My only complaint was poor banquet food. I ate two... More

The service at the hotel was great starting with the doorman and continuing with the check in process. The concierge was also helpful. Maid service was nice and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. I will stay here again when I am in NYC.

There are Amazon views of anything in just about any room. From WTC which is only a few blocks away, to lady liberty, to the Empire State Building. The room was very clean and SPACIOUS room for New York City. I would definitely stay here again and highl recommend it to anyone, especially Marriott elite members.

This is NOT a "premier" property with "style and sophistication" as stated in the hotel overview. The hotel is in need of upgrades and I believe the general manager has said in response to other reviews that they are scheduled in early 2016. That being said...Here are the Pro's and Con's: Pro's: Location Location Location..Battery Park, South Street Seaport and... More
