Great location for leisure travellers. Staff is tired and hotel need an update as well. Comfortable rooms. Good wifi. Breakfast is ok. Go to Zuma (in front of the hotel) for an amazing dinner. One of the best in the city

Stayed four nights at the Madison towers during our tour of the states, the bedroom was a decent size, the bathroom was nice, the blankets on the bed were spit thin and it was minus five degrees outside. No free wifi. The heater in the room was so loud we had to turn it off at night. However location wise... More

4th time in NYC and stayed at this hotel at the end of March for 5 nights. Some of the reviews had me a little uneasy but people tend to exaggerate and I wanted to make my own mind up. We got a great deal so it was definitely worth trying - especially with the central location. Check-in was very... More

We read a few bad reviews about this hotel and I must say we were not looking forward to our stay. How wrong can you be, we had a very comfortable stay. The only complaint we had was the noise, I don't think the glazing is as good as it could be, also the heating system was very noisy. It... More

3 days with friends at the end ffebuary. We had a corporate fare that land us a very small and tired room, no free wifi. The room had a noisy old heating unit the bed blankets were airplane like, thin and made of fleece. The front desk did not engage at all with the exception of a young gentleman. Great... More

The hotel it's self is very nice and the staff were nice when we got here. Breakfast is not included and I wish it was. When our flight got cancelled the women at the desk was very rude to me and when another couple came I the desk she was very nice. Most of the staff was friendly except for... More

We arrived at the hotel at around 2 pm. We greeted by friendly reception staff and given our room keys. We were in room 1070. The room itself was small but suited our needs perfectly as we were only using it as a base to explore New York City. As said in previous reviews the room could do with being... More

Location was great. Need to upgrade; TV, AC/Heating unit, Bathroom. Need to add; Coffee maker, Refrigerator. Housekeeping was good. Some members of the staff very rude, no professional. Need to include free breakfast, because hotel restaurant breakfast very expensive

Great location and good breakfast (23$) but that's about the only thing positive about this hotel. Don't be tricked by the NH brand name. The rooms are not nice (dirty carpet and old furniture) This is nothing like the European hotel branch. I had a horrible stay with security issues (people could enter my room with their key, reception gave... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
