Room was small but adequate. Kept clean daily although cleaners seemed annoyed if we came and went through the day when they were working. Shower was hot and bathroom clean. We didn't use the restaurant as we weren't sure they had one...all other service was good including storing bags before and after our flights and also concierge help with booking... More

Let's start with the good stuff: the room is clean, the shower has hot water, and there are no bed bugs. That we know of. Everything else... Less exciting.. For instance, the extremely unfriendly and unprofessional service at the front desk (if I ask you to clean my room, I don't think I need to return to my room and... More

We booked this hotel a few weeks ago. We were hoping the weather would not be too bad in NYC, and wanted to wait to see if we were still able to go. But after the state of emergency for NYC and a travel BAN were announced, we knew this trip was impossible. However, Jolly Madison didn't agree. They refused... More

It's was fine Hotel. Room condition, Service, People were really great. But the location isn't perfect for me. Especially when i use subway. If you were staying in summer or spring it's will be fine location.

The hotel was a typical three star outside the sirens and horn honking of Times Square, but within walking distance. The quiet neighborhood, which seemed safe enough, was a plus as was the competent staff. The cleanliness was fine and the room/hotel were a bit worn as expected for three stars. The bathroom was twice the size of typical mid-town... More

We stayed here for one night on New Years eve - as the price was pretty reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. The next day we moved to Times Square. Check-in took forever. Rooms are really old. Rooms appeared to be clean. Bathroom toilet was not clean at all, really disgusting that the cleaners cannot do a better... More

I had two nights by myself so I wasn't looking for anything fancy and I tried Priceline Express. I was suspicious at such a low rate but wanted to keep the budget low. The location was perfect--nice walkable shopping and a few blocks from Grand Central. The clerk who checked me in was friendly enough and perfectly polite while also... More

The hotel is in a good location as it took about 10-15 minutes to walk to the Macy's area. There was no free wifi, no tea/coffee making facilities and room was small. I wouldn't go back to this hotel but if you need just a basic place to stay then this is it.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
