You get what you pay for. It's clean and efficient spaced. You don't pay top dollars so don't expect super modern rooms our lounges. But the location is what makes it worth the money! Walking distend to Broadway and time square. Nice friendly and helpful staff. The wifi works good and is free all you have to do is sign... More

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, the room I stayed in was on the 7th Floor and was pretty quiet (except cleaners banging around and generally being louder than they should be from 8:30am through to around 5-6pm) and for the odd siren which I presume you would hear at any level. The room was dated, like something... More

The room was small, cold with thin blanket. Photos of room were totally misleading plus when we checked in, the front desk said we were being upgraded! I wouldn't want to see the other room. Not an attractive or particularly comfortable place to stay but It did seem pretty clean and the fellow at the check/in was pleasant. Convenient location.

This was expensive at over $300 a night; but it is midtown New York after all. I had a superior room, and imagine that a normal room must be like a Travelodge. It is described as Italian style, but it's the dullest Italian I've seen. The bedroom was cold when I arrived, with a thin bed cover and an old... More

I decided to stay here on my *very* short trip, mostly because this property consistently shows up as one of the least expensive when searching for NYC hotels for my clients (I'm a part-time travel agent). I've been hesitant to book anyone here until I knew for myself what it was like. Having only stayed in one room for one... More

Had a 3 days stay, Not worth the price which I paid for that. Location is OK, but the room is too small, and not very clean. And the air condition made a big noisy! I would not choose this hotel for next visit in NYC.

The pictures on the website and the hotel room I walked into, were completely different. Total shock when you are expecting something else. There is also a TON of construction going on right outside the hotel, so no matter what room you are in, you will hear it. Much smaller than the New Yorker for around the same price as... More

We stayed here Sunday-Wednesday. The hotel from the outside was gorgeous, very Christmassy and looked very elegant. Inside it was just as nice, there is a lovely Christmas tree at the end of the lobby, and the lobby itself was very clean. The staff on reception were very helpful and friendly. As I was calling home my boyfriend asked if... More

We arrived Thursday afternoon at the hotel after a long flight and were dealt with straight away by the front desk and in our rooms within 15 minutes. The room I thought was very good for the short break we had planned, king sized bed, clean bathroom, tv and fridge and only thing I felt was a let down was... More

I have such mixed thoughts about this hotel. Prior to leaving home I had to make a call to the hotel, it was after hours their time which I didn't realise at the time (it was 15 minutes after their online reservation closing line) The customer service representative was so very rude to me and completely put me off and... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
