Excellent Hotel, very well located (upper east) with large rooms, confortable beds and pillows. Nice location to walk or to jog. 4 blocks from central park. Very close to subway station. Ideal for couples or families. Each room has a kitchen with refrigerator, oven and stoves so you can have breakfast or prepare lunch or dinner. There is a deli... More

The front desk is superb for making you feel comfortable and special. This is my 8th time staying there and is the only hotel I would even consider booking. The rooms are very spacious and immaculate.

Wonderful small hotel. Converted apartments, so each room has a small kitchenette and seating area. Room is lovely respite from city, a place to relax, unwind, eat breakfast and entertain guests. Also a great neighborhood. Close to good restaurants, museums and Central Park.

The Affinia Gardens was a hotel we chose because of the proximity to a hospital my husband was going to. I would go back anytime I was in NYC. The room was very spacious. There was a nicely equipped kitchenette. We had breakfast in the room in our PJs which was very relaxing. Felt like our own NYC apartment There... More

This much space in any NY hotel is pure luxury. The hotel is totally laid back. Staff is helpful but not over the top"in your face." Having a full kitchen saves a lot of money on breakfast. The bed was super comfortable. It really felt more like living in a great doorman building than a hotel. Loved the place and... More

We had a great time at Affinia Gardens in New York. It was a big room on a very good location. We had an excellent service with good staff like Pedro and Kris. We would love to come back and advise this hotel to other people.

We stayed here in the summer as a family of five. We loved the location; close to a subway line, short walk to the grocery store and bagel shop; we were also able to walk to central park from here. Spacious room, clean, reasonable price for NYC. Decent fitness center Great coffee in the morning located in lobby. Would definitely... More

Kitchen with full size 'fridge (which they'll stock in advance if you want) can be a big plus. Quiet, good bed, genial staff. No real room service, although you can arrange for delivery from a couple of places on the block (be careful of the fare at "Jackson Hole.") No bar.

This is truly a jewel of a boutique hotel. The staff if all friendly and committed to making you feel at home. The rooms are roomy and comfortable. There are good restaurants in the neighborhood and if you want to go somewhere nearby, cabs are plentiful for just a 1/2 block walk. We have stayed here twice and enjoyed it... More

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were huge, clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's a convenient and fun location and the price was right. I would highly recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again! my only complaint, and it's a very small one compared to all the benefits, is that the room... More

Hello elizabethbG6892PV, Thank you! Noted on the room temperature, sometimes it is a little tough when we experience temperatures in the middle, we work to ensure comfort but sometimes we fall a little short. Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
