We spent a week at the Gardens. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, that included a bedroom with two queen beds, a kitchen and a living room with a pull out sofa. I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. My wife, though, thought the room could use an update. To be honest, the kitchen looked like something from the... More

Spent 5 days at the Gardens NYC, found the staff to be extremely helpful prior to our arrival, which continued the moment we arrived through to our departure. The hotel is in a great location, quiet neighbourhood, good restaurants and just a short walk to central park or the subway for access to all NYC attractions. Good apprtment size room

This is a real find on the Upper East Side (64th Street). Lovely, spacious, clean apartments complete with stove, fridge, microwave, large beds, down pillows,, bathroom with amenities, iron, ironing board, large closets, even a laundry room in the basement. What more could one ask for? The staff is charming -- friendly and helpful, especially Michael. Kris, and Nigel. I... More

Having stayed at so many other places in NYC, I can't believe how large the rooms are! Such a great location to Central Park, shopping, and the closest you can get to the subway on the UES... will definitely be back!

I stayed at the Gardens NYC for 1 night on my wedding weekend. The service was top notch. They were able to grant me an early check in so that I could get ready there the day of the wedding (Now, this is not a guarantee and is entirely dependent on the amount of guests they have on a given... This is the perfect hotel if you are visiting Marymount. It is sort of like an apartment. I stayed here last year and returned with my family this year. It ended up okay and it's a nice, clean family hotel. I love the kitchenette and the large room, and Opheila (our room maid) was very accommodating. We had asked for... More

Our family of 5 had a fabulous time staying in our Junior suite with patio for 4 nights while visiting New York City. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by Vasylyna who quickly offered us the suite with a patio instead of the one-bedroom we had booked. The patio was amazing!! So nice to have an outdoor... My husband, 4 children & I stayed here earlier this month & the staff couldn't have been better. Our travel agent had mucked up our booking, but the Gardens team went out of their way to make things right & make our New York trip memorable. Thank you

Perfect room for a family in NYC! Our experience here was fantastic. Only a few minutes to Central Park and the subway, so getting around is very easy. The rooms easily accomodate a family with 3 children, beds were very comfortable and sofa bed was very nice. Earplugs were provided for the NYC noise at night, but the location was so... More

I stayed at Affinia Gardens when I went to NYC for treatment at Sloan Kettering for cancer. The rooms were delightful and the staff was excellent. The hotel is located next to Sloan Kettering which made our stay much easier and convenient. We highly recommend this hotel.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
