We stayed here a couple weeks ago and it was really nice. We have stayed here before. Positive - Large rooms Free coffee and tea at the lounge Friendly staff Clean Negative - Bathrooms and kitchens are a bit dated. We were charged a $40 fee in order to check in one hour early :/ that was kind of a... More

This is our first stay at the Affinia Gardens and we will be back. Staff was very helpful, especially Kris our Bellman. We have already scheduled our next stay in December. The hotel was clean (even though it was Pet friendly).

This is perfect if you want quiet. No real lobby or restaurant, not a party or mingling place. Suggest this for travelers just needing a nice comfortable place to stay. Staff is great. Stayed twice so far and the beds and pillows are wonderful. Both times I was just as comfy as my own bedroom. Also like the vanity shelf... More

Love the gigantic apartment style rooms with kitchens. We stayed here for a weekend conference and loved the location -- close to yummy food, fun museums and while it's a bit of a trek to midtown, it is a fun walk! I think my favorite hotel in Manhattan.

The location is very good for those interested in the museums on the upper east side or galleries and shops on Madison Avenue. The hotel is well-maintained and the service is very friendly and courteous. The rooms are large and well-appointed. The pricing is dynamic, and, so, if demand is high so too are the prices but if demand is... More

I recently went to NYC with my sister, her daughter, my daughter, a friend, and her two children. We booked two rooms and the front desk did their best to give us two rooms close together. All rooms have a kitchenette, which is a nice feature since there were 7 of us, and eating out is expensive. Kris, the bell... More

My husband and I stayed at the Affinia Gardens hotel last weekend on a whirlwind trip from CA to see the Yankees. We picked this location as it was my husband's first trip to Manhattan and we wanted to be able to get out of the thick of things while still being in the City. It was perfect. Nice quiet... More

Dear Leah R- What an exciting trip to the city to see the Yankees play. We would agree that our location is certainly one that allows for great sight seeing as well as a centralized location in a quiet neighborhood. Put that together with our large rooms and kitchens and I think it is a winning combination. I will be... More

Affinia Gardens is a must stay hotel on the Upper East Side. Besides location and first rate facilities and amenities, the staff make the difference. Pedro Hilario the Front Desk Manager, Nino the Front Desk Clerk, Chris, the Bell Captain, and others whose names I cannot recall at this moment, made my stay a truly memorable experience. Affinia has become... More

We stayed for about a week in one of the terrace rooms with two adults and two small kids. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The terrace rooms offer nice outdoor space for dining or sitting. There are plenty of restaurants, stores (including drugstores and grocery) within walking distance. The front staff were great, epecially Kris and Caprice, who were... More
