The hotel itself is standard Hilton fare and needs some renovations but the people are friendly and we love the location. We walk a LOT in NY so we like to stay here and walk to different places but there is also a convenient subway stop that we will use next time to get the luggage from Penn Station to... More

Hotel and amenities were standard but the location was great. No pool found and very limited information about the surrounding area in the room. Front desk staff was very helpful though. Currently going through some remodeling so the hotel bar was makeshift and lacking - to say the least. If you stay here stay in lower floors because if you... More

Hotel location great but customer service was terrible. Felt 'profiled" upon check in. Not welcoming. Problems with payment (business expense). Room not cleaned in a timely manner. Even the guest in line behind us at check out were displeased with the service. Avoid this hotel

I spent several nights in numerous hotels around the globe. I enjoyed most of them, and shouldn't this be the case, I never complain (nor take the time to write a review). I have decided to act differently this time considering that my stay at this hotel is the worst ever. One example: I was woken up around 1 or... More

Overall, the hotel is clean, rooms relatively spacious (for New York), front desk is efficient, but this is new York, don't expect more than that . Location is good for business, however for sightseeing and shopping I would go with a place around 34th st.

I stayed with my wife in the hotel. The location of the hotel, cleanlinesss and standard of rooms is very good. Our special thanks and compliments for Swapna at the Reception Desk. She is very polite, extremelyprofessional and caring... the qualities one requires at the desk. Look forward to staying with you again.

We have stayed at the Hilton on 53rd & 7th various times and have truly enjoyed our stays. They were booked for this past weekend and they highly recommended this property on Lexington. Great location, disappointing hotel. Front lobby greets you with blaring music, better found in a club. Check-in was quick. There was zero security in the lobby. We... More

Another tired NY hotel in a city that bustles and consequently gets away with poor service and a full hotel. Great neighborhood but Hilton has done very little to hide the fact that this facility is old and tired.

Booked as part of a fly cruise package we were very pleased with the hotel. So close to Grand Central Station, Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center and much else. Subway station just to the side of the hotel. Hotel staff interested and attentive. Room and bed excellent. Wifi available in lobby free(20 mins a day) $15 per day in room.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
