Needed a very comfortable place following a very long flight in from Seattle via Newark - wanted to grab a bite and get a good night's sleep. I got it all...slept well and had great meetings the next day! Thanks.

I stayed here about a half dozen times over a span of a year and a half for business trips. Overall, it is a nice hotel. Some rooms are better (bigger or have better views) than others, but all of the rooms I've been in have been adequate. They are clean and comfortable and the staff is very nice. The... More

My wife and I stayed here for five days while I conducted business in New York. We originally booked an upgraded room for $600 a night. The room was terrible and had electrical and plumbing problems . They upgraded us to a suite which definitely needed work. The service at this hotel is not very good. It's in an excellent location... Our group of 13 adults and children travelled from the UK, Australia and Bahrain to celebrate various milestone birthdays. Between us we occupied 3 junior suites and 3 double rooms for 8 days. Despite booking 10 months in advance and paying 3 months before arrival the hotel saw fit to split out rooms over three floors which was hardly ideal.... More

Dear Mary B, Thank you for your very thorough review! I'm sorry to read that not all aspects of your stay quite lived up to your expectations. Although you did book well in advance, your reservations were made via a travel agency, who unfortunately never contacted us to let us know that you and your friends were traveling together. Had... Close enough to Broadway and Times Square without being stuck in the middle of it. A short stroll to Central Park and 57 Street shopping. The rooms are a good value, but not outstanding. The staff is personable and very accomodating

The hotel was very nice. The lobby is beautiful, and there are several different eating establishments and bars to choose from in the hotel itself. The hotel is a half a block from the subway entrance and you can get anywhere in the city easily. You are also very close to many historic landmarks as well as some of the... More

Dear PCole83, Thanks for your review. It sounds like you had an excellent weekend! I'm so glad. Next time you're here, try to budget at least a few minutes to visit the pool- the view has to be seen to be believed. I hope you'll keep us in mind for your next NYC weekend! Have a Good One! Great place to stay, we come a few times each year. Easy to walk to The Metropolitan Opera, The Metropolitan Museum, MOMA, Central Park, all Fifth Avenue and Park Avenue stores. Always greeted with a smile, clean rooms, and helpful concierge services. Subway to down town located a few steps away on 7th avenue, more at Columbus Circle.

This was our second time at the parker meridian - my 6 year old & I came from the suburbs for a night away during this long winter - what a great neighborhood & what a warm, warm pool - & the view! Great place to stay in NYC.

We stayed here for a part of our honeymoon and it was really good. Lots of things do do around because of the location, Central park right on the back, a very nice rooftop pool, indoor and outdoor, so we had a really good time.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
