I stayed at a lot of hotels but this one I chose to give a try through word-of-mouth. I arrived and did not have any problems with check in. All the staff members there were friendly so I can't complain about that. I could have stayed at a cheaper hotel but they say you get what you pay for so... More

Stayed here for a few nights back In January to unwind after a hectic Christmas and New Year in Florida. I've stayed in New York a thousand times and have stayed here a few times and can honestly say I have never had a bad visit. From the receptionist to the Bell Captain everyone working here are professional but relaxed... More

I loved my stay at the Barclay. It fit the bill and the staff was amazing. Great location! The beds were comfy. The room was a bit small but we were running around NYC and not in the room long at all. I liked the gift shop and hotel services.

Great location and service. Close to Rockefeller center. Hotel accomdated early check-in upon arrival from a red eye flight. I called ahead when we landed and our room was ready when we arrived. Wonderful!

Beautiful hotel with lots of charm. The staff is superb and the rooms are clean. The rooms and restroom are a little on the small side but you have all that you need. The lobby always smells WONDERFUL! 💐. The concierge was very helpful and getting a cab was very easy. Great experience... Would love to visit again.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel! The breakfast was the best I have had at a hotel. All food was very expensive, but it was also organic, so that was expected. For a nyc hotel it was also very spacious.

Was rather dubious booking online for a hotel in New York as been stung before with less than fortunate accommodations in the past, I need not have worried. Check in quick and efficient, lovely room and location perfect. Would book and stay again next time we are in New York.

Our trip of a lifetime to New York was made even better by being able to stay at the Barklay! From the moment we arrived we were treated like we were special guests and walking into the grand lobby we certainly felt very special. Our room was lovely and very clean and the bed was so soft and luxurious, just... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
