We grabbed the Barclay in it's final weeks before a year long total makeover. It's a bit dated but charming. The location was excellent and the staff were superb. Considering that they're all about to out of work. they were awesome.

The Hotel is a business style hotel so has an executive feel as near to the Major US Banks. Our Room was nice and quite modern, however, the bathroom was fairly small. We did not have breakfast in the hotel as nearby are many american diners that do a great breakfast and fill you for the day! Macy's is a... More

Arrived on Friday, 29th dot 3 nights. I booked it through Hotwire and was a little concerned one I checked all the reviews on here. The hotel is closing mid September for a year long renovation. For the people that complain about traffic noise, this is a large city. If you don't want t hear it ask for a high... More

We had a very enjoyable 5 night stay at this hotel. Contrary to what everyone warned me about the room was spacious enough for three of us ladies. When we arrived the staff "bent over backwards" to accommodate us, by the second day we weren't receiving extra towels or enough glasses for us and on the 5th day our room... More

Our stay at the Barclay really exceeded our expectations. The lobby is very grand, and the whole hotel feels classy and historic. The room itself was very large by Manhattan standards, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. I could have slept all day in that bed! There was a good amount of electrical outlets and the wifi worked very well... More

I went to New York and decided to stay in this hotel as it was close to Times Square and there was a Shake Shack around the corner. We had a nice clean room and we had two double beds with comfy sheets and pillows. The bathroom was very clean and we also had a large TV in our room,... More

This hotel is situated in a great location if you are planning a sightseeing trip to NYC. The room was very clean, hotel staff friendly and helpful. Room only deal so didn't use the restaurant or room service so cannot comment on that front. Short walk to Times Square and Top of the Rock, 5th Avenue. We enjoyed our stay... More

This is an elite hotel brand and we expected an excellent stay for two nights. A very disappointing experience. When you check in you are told that the hotel is soon to be renovated and there has been a reduction in some services, but that they were offering free internet access. The first room was unsatisfactory because of way too... More

HORRID !!!! So disgusting... most unclean hotel I have ever stayed in. The first room I stayed in was beyond horrid. The toilet wasn't flushed. Needless to say I complained. Second room they moved me to, "an upgrade" had hair in the bathtub and dust everywhere. Third room, "a suite" had stains on the sheets. I gave up and switched... More
