First visit to NewYork. Hotel was in a great location, close to Times Square, Broadway Shows and the Subway. Room and breakfast were good. Overall good value. Would have liked a friendlier greeting on arrival. We weren't acknowledged when we were checking out which surprised me. Other staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a pleasant stay and would definitely recommend... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. The location is very close to Times Street. It is just expensive for its location. The rooms are not big and everything looks if tighly fit in it has around 35 floors.I loved the breakfast, though.

This hotel is an easy walking distance from the theaters and other places of interest. The room was pleasant, and the service was excellent. Food is terribly expensive in New York, and having a free breakfast available every morning was a great savings. I intend to stay there again if the occasion arises.

My family stayed four nights over the Memorial Day weekend. The location is close to Time Square and the theatre district. Every member of the hotel staff was exceptionally professional, responsive and accommodating. Our room was also surprising quiet with very little street noise or hotel noise. The room was clean and the breakfast was above average.

It is expensive just because of the location. Overall the hotel looks tired. The breakfast was very simple just sugar, flower and processed meat to offer. They should have signals in the alleys that indicate guests not to hold loud conversation right outside other people's bedrooms as it quite disturbing and disrespectful.

I planned a girls getaway in New York to celebrate mom's 60th birthday and see a Broadway show. There were 7 of us in two rooms. I chose this hotel because it's close to the main Times Square area and the rooms had two queen beds with room to spare. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted and... More

Hotel is west of Broadway District, north west of Times Square, still a good location. The room was good size, the king bed was very comfortable. Hotel is a little tired but the included breakfast is quit good. They changed it up a little every morning for the 4 mornings we were there. Staff was very helpful.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable and very close to Times Square. It was across the street from "Wicked" and within a couple of blocks of 'The Jersey Boys". I travelled with friends and the rooms were plenty spacious for four adults per room. The staff was exceptionally friendly and very helpful with travel advice. A great experience at... More

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Times Square North for a week, and it was fantastic. Many things are walkable from the hotel: Museum of Modern Art, most of the theaters, Times Square, and subway stations are steps away. The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included, and it was pretty good -- different every day, with hot... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
