My stay at this hotel was great! Check-in was fast and friendly and our room was clean and trendy. The only issue we experienced was waiting for the bellman to find our bags at the end of our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

When I travel to NYC and bring a group of students, we always stay here. We can walk to all the Broadway shows, and are close to the subway. The breakfast is great and the beds are super comfortable. The wifi works great, unlike most hotels I visit. Clean, safe, and recommended.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn between 14th & 19th February 2015. I travelled with my 3 female friends and our primary purpose was sightseeing and shopping. I was originally going to give this hotel a 4 star rating, however, the reason for them only getting 1 star is because upon my return to the UK, I discovered that this... More

This is our go-to hotel when we are in NYC. As a grandmother who travels with 2 teenage grandchildren, I like several things about this hotel: convenience (easy walk to Central Park, Rockefeller Plaza, Times Square, etc), good $$ value, complementary wi-fi & breakfast, and the people are just so nice! My request for a certain room (or area) is... More

This hotel is in an excellent location...convenient to the subway, walking distance to shopping and area attractions, and a lot of restaurant options close by, especially on Ninth Ave. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, but the line for breakfast was ridiculous and the cutoff was 10am, which was earlier than any other Hampton I've ever stayed at. They... More

Lawrence is the best! Having been to all seven continents and past owner of a travel agency, I've stayed in all kinds of hotels, hostels, etc. Never have I witnessed such a hands on, caring manager. He was right in there working the very popular breakfast room. There were five of us, two rooms. He certainly helped make our stay... More

We stayed at this Hotel in November last year. The whole experience was lovely - great staff, comfortable clean & spacious room, excellent breakfast. My husband even got a birthday cake & chocolates as it was his 50th birthday. Would recommend the hotel to friends and family, in fact one of my friends with her two daughters has booked for... Kept scrupulously clean by excellent cleaning staff. Reception and concierge staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Free breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food. Free tea & coffee in reception is appreciated too. Try the cranberry & Apple....it's lovely. Excellent location with easy walking distance to a lot of the must do sights... More

Nice rooms. Lots of space to put all of our things. Staff were all great. Held our bags upon arrival until out room was ready, and until it was time to leave for the airport at check out. This allowed us to go and see the city. Breakfast was nice, always being refilled quickly. Nice location easy to walk or... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
