Hotel has direct connection to the Grand Central Station - great if you use the Subway, very convienient. Stayed in King Room, comforable bed, large walk-in-closet, and decent bath size. Beautiful decor. Cleaning staff did a good job. Concierge was not too helpful though, was disappointed about that.

From the moment I saw this hotel I knew it would be something special. The taxi pulled up and I was welcomed by a friendly baggage man dressed in green who escorted me to the reception, the sound was amazing, water crashing down down the lobby waterfall a spectacular start to my stay at this hotel. When I checked in,... More

My family and I stayed at the Grand Hyatt New York for seven days including Easter weekend. We arrived on Good Friday and was able to check in at 9am. Room was a good size for a NY hotel ... bathroom as well. Stayed on the 25th floor. Windows open so we were able to experience fresh air in the... More

The hotel is centrally located and therefore a good place to stay. But the lobby is a zoo, and the rooms are very small, as are some of the bathrooms. I would say some of the rooms are poorly designed in terms of layout. Very surprised to find the absence of a minibar fridge. The saving grace is that I... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights over the Easter break. We had a wonderful time and did not have any complaints regarding the hotel. We had to wait about an hour to check-in on arrival despite requesting early check-in after our flight from London but we didnt mind to much as they honoured our other... More

We recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt New York. The location is GREAT! We were upgraded to a huge suite as well as the Regency Club because my husband is a Diamond member of Hyatt. Our suite was furnished very nicely and updated. The only fault I could find at this location was the housekeeping. When we arrived there was... More

Spent Easter in New York at the Grand Hyatt right next to Grand Central Station for my husband's birthday. Could not fault the hotel at all, staff very helpful and friendly, great location, room was lovely, huge big bed, very clean. New York was brilliant, first visit to New York, been to America many times before. Weather was great, really... More

My husband, daughters and I stayed at the Hyatt on April 21-22 for one night, I was a little hesitatant about the hotel after reading mixed reviews. Good thing I didn't read the one about bed bugs. Our stay was a pleasant one. I did check the beds for bed bugs upon arrival, it's one of my fears, they appeared... More

I stayed there and was bitten by bed bugs. Took them home in my suitcase and still have them. After paying exterminators and removing my carpet I am considering tearing down drywall to treat inside the wall. I have thrown out countless pillows and bedding. Every spring they hatch out again. Total nightmare!

I stayed here twice in April and simply have to rate this hotel as execllent. The decor may be a bit aged but the service was simply outstanding. The recognition and service was everything one expects as a top tier gold passport member. This hotel is outstanding. Hint: When the Grand Hyatt is fully booked an alternative is the Hyatt... More
