I visited this hotel with my mother just after loosing my father. We were looked after really well and the rooms were roomy and comfortable. I had a good card that enabled us to use the free afternoon tea lounge. Lovely hotel that is right next to Grand Central Station.

This was my first trip to NYC. The hotel is adjacent to Grand Central Station, which means you are only minutes on the subway from most everything in NYC. As for the hotel, it was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We stayed for 4 nights, and they never were able to keep a sufficient supply of... More

We stayed this Grand Hyatt two nights when drove to New York. This Hyatt has all other grand Hyatt's amenities, quality furnishing, quiet inside and complete sound proof to the noise even in the busy street. We could see the yellow New York cabs passing over our side of hotel in and out of Grand Central Station, but you wouldn't... More

It is all about location, and for this hotel it is perfect. We did not use the expensive hotel breakfast facilities as a lot of breakfast shops are around the corner. Some of the rooms have a great view on the Chrysler building which is next doors. Rooms are not big but doable with 2 adults and 2 kids. However... More

Location was convenient to many midtown attractions. Rooms were a little "too modern". Light switches were overly complex or maybe I'm too simple minded. Got parking in the garage above GCS for $44.50/night. The hotel wanted $65/ night. This was a big victory in the big apple where you get more than nickeled & dimed on just about everything.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt in New York 4 nights. The location is great between Lexington and Park Avenue. Manhattan's Midtown is New York City's tourist Gem. It is close to the lions guarding the public library, the starry domes of Grand Central Terminal, Broadway Theatres, shopping along 5th Avenue, Central Park and the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA),... Reasonably priced rooms - which if you get lucky can be very large and very nicely decorred; it does seem that you're charged through the nose for EVERYTHING else though, be is at the bar, in the restaurant, at the 24/7 shop... it all just seems slightly more expensive than it should be, even for a central NYC hotel. Definitely... More

We stayed for 5 nights and were upgraded at check-in, and given free wi-fi. Unfortunately the room was adjacent to a 'Club Room' where about a dozen athletes were partying and we asked to be moved. Our second room was an improvement but it had absolutely no view. Oh well, it was very comfortable and clean. The hotel is very... More

This hotel is all about location. Located by the central terminal and just a few blocks walk to Time Square. Didn't have much interaction with the staff as it was an overnight stay. The room service was great ($$$). The only issue; we booked a room with a bath and there wasn't any.

The location was great but for the money I was not impressed. We had a tiny room with absolutely no view. The room smelled like cleaning products and very damp. I had to keep my shoes on the whole time I was in there. The staff was nice. The Westin Grand Central was so much better.
