Stayed here to go see the Macy's Day parade, literally everything was perfect. The suites are excellent for families, provides another room with their own tv, etc. The hotel itself is spectacular, but the restaurant is an embarrassment to the hotel. I tried it twice and everything from the hostess to the servers act like they don't care and it's... More

Stayed at the Grand Hyatt for one night on a Sunday to a Monday. The room I was given was outdated, dingy, and not very clean (there was visible dust everywhere). The bed was horrible, not the usual Hyatt quality. Understood that this is a business traveler, high turnover hotel but management should make sure that all rooms are maintained... More

Good location. Staff friendly. Clean room. Would have gotten a higher rating but for - No soap in shower. Only one bar by sink. Bathroom sink had practically no hot water. No water pressure. Only one drinking glass by ice bucket. The only glass in the room.

If you want to be in the centre of it all, this location is ideal. Grand Central station is next door, you can walk to Soho and Park Av, 5th Av etc. Personally, I didn't enjoy it. I couldn't sleep with all of the noise outside (sirens, car horns etc all night long) I found the rooms noisy too with... More

Location of this hotel is PERFECT! You can walk to many of the popular tourist places which saves you money. Area feels safe and taxi's are hailed by the hotel staff out front of the hotel for you. Definitely more of a "business" type feel. There were probably 3 different business conferences going on the week we were here. Room... More

Me and my husband returned recently from a 5 night stay here. This hotel came recommended and we we were looking forward to staying there. This is classed as a "luxury" hotel (not sure if it's 4 or 5 star; I think it's 5). On first impressions, its a very grand hotel with the lobby being huge with lots of... More

New York Grand Hyatt (Grand Hyatt New York) Review hotel next to Central Station, good service, room was clean but small, D card payment live:. Worth the money. Location? Connected to the beautiful and historic Grand Central Terminal. Perfect for getting anywhere in Manhattan. Pharmacy is across the street, which is always a bonus. Service? We were early checking in, and they were accommodating. They held our luggage while we explored. They gave us bottled water and vouchers for free coffee at the hotel Starbucks. All service requests... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
