My husband and I spent 5 nights here celebrating my 50th birthday. He had called before and the Front Desk supervisor Gino had organised a bottle of bubbly, some delicious chocolate coated strawberries and a lovely hand signed card by all on the Desk complements if the hotel. Very welcoming after a long flight. Check in was quick and simple.... More

I spent one night at this hotel and really enjoyed it. When we arrived, the bellboys quickly took our luggage to the check in area and we were attended very quickly. We arrived several hours before check in, but our room was ready and we were able to go up immediately. Within 15 minutes our luggage was out of the... More

New York - New - New –York, a place I had heard about by so many people, it was a place that I dreamt about going for sometime. My wife’s birthday was coming up and with everything pointing in the right direction, I decided that the time was right to head west and take a bite out of the Big... More

We spent one night at this hotel and had an excellent experience overall. The checkin was quick, the room was spacious for Manhattan and well appointed. The location, right next to Grand Central Station is superb. Bed was comfortable. Prices are comparable to other excellent hotels in NYC. Minor issues are that the shower is strangely designed. It has a... More

This was the 4th time I've stayed at this hotel, We love its location and its friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very large and spacious - we booked 2 rooms which were adjoining and we were very impressed with the size of them - one of the rooms had a dining table which made it perfect to eat... This is the third time that we have stayed at this hotel and each time has been worse than the one before. Though taxi drivers drop you on the mezzanine level with your cases and there are supposed to be bell services at the entrance there rarely are, I loaded our own cases on to the bell trolley and pulled... There's enough to like about this hotel, most of all its location, but the atmosphere is well, ok. The lobby and hotel decor is grey/brown and, ok. Our room was a large king, but had no bathrobes, towels that were paper thin, a phone beside the bed that didn't work and windows that appeared filthy. They seemed to have a... More

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. Great location for walking to theatres, Central Park and one our favourite places Bryant Park. The staff were very helpful with theatre, dinner reservations and general advice. Room was very clean and housekeeping did a good job. Only complaint, bathroom somewhat small with toilet crammed between the shower and vanity unit. We... More

I found this hotel had no value for money. Tiny rooms with no view. It had been renovated but still a very unpleasant place to stay. There is no value for money here. The bathroom is a tiny room and the towels were very bare. Not white and fluffy as u would expect from a Grand Hyatt.

Dear Denise, We are very concerned by your recent experience at our hotel. As you noted, we completed a $130M renovation just a few years ago, which resulted in redesigned guestrooms and suites, the addition of world-class artwork, and revitalized public spaces throughout. However, it sounds as though your accommodations did not meet your expectations. We would very much appreciate... More

Timeless hotel in a great location with a fantastic Club Floor. Located right above grand central, so very convenient to everything. Great service, but maybe the slowest elevators in NYC. Stay at least once of the Club Floor and pamper yourself on the deck with free breakfast, cookies, and drinks!
