What a location - right in the middle of Grand Central station with all its beauty. This hotel is marvellous. the foyer is a sight to be seen and the restaurants offer some really good food. however it is the staff that make this hotel as special as it is. they go out of their way to help you and... We had a group of 6 and we all had very positive experiences here. The customer service was excellent, the rooms were spacious and very clean, and the location of the hotel can't be beat. The first night we were there, they offered a free excursion to the roof for photo ops which a nice surprise. It is right next... More

Stayed at Grand Hyatt hotel with my husband and teenage daughter it was her first visit to NYC and thought this hotel was very central. Our room was nice not huge but ok by New York standards staff friendly except for concierge went once to get some advice and it was too much hassle for her Had access to terrace... More

I recently stayed in this hotel for a three night stay. Lets begin with the check in. My booking was for two full beds and come to find out that since i had not paid the full amount (booked through Hotwire) they could not accommodate what i needed. Instead they gave us a King Bed, for three adults? We were... More

My rating of three was based on the fact that it is average for the tier Grand Hyatt is in- compared to a mid-level three-star hotel, the experience at Grand Hyatt would be superlative. Hotel: What works 1. The location is this hotel's number one asset, being adjacent to Grand Central Station. In inclement weather a hotel guest would not... More

This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in NY. The size of the room is excellent and the design is modern and completely unique. The gym is quite good as well and it allows a full workout for sure. Finally location is of course outstanding, and the staff was extremely helpful and kind. Can't wait to be... More

I have stayed here in the past and besides being extremely convenient (you don't have to leave Grand Central to access) it was just a big hotel with average rooms. Now, the rooms are fantastic! Thoroughly modern, flush with power plugs, comfortable bed, nice big bathroom (with two sinks), sitting area, funky furniture, and conveniences like bedside controls for room... More

Beautiful lobby, good cafe option, average New York hotel restaurant although bar has nice view of 42nd street. King bedrooms are well appointed. Bathrooms small. Charge for wifi! Centrally located next to grand central terminal, easy access to subways, 40 minutes from JFK, Laguardia.

Was there for a conference and the hotel is located in the same building as Grand Central Station so in that sense connectivity is not an issue. In terms of space if you have been to New York City you know if you get a small bath and a bed that is more than enough. The rooms are no exception... More

We recently stayed on the 21st floor for 5 nights in a grand double room. The room was clean and comfortable and serviced very well each day. It was a decent size by other New York comparisons. The hotel is very central and just a short walk to Times Square and all of the fantastic shopping on 5th Avenue. There... More
