Got this on booking.com. Small & older hotel but surprisingly enjoyable. Parking was right next door and discount provided. Very small lobby, but staff was extremely helpful and checked you in right away. We saw a small fitness room on 2nd floor. Our room was very clean. Bed comfy. Temperature controls were spot on. Strong shower. Breakfast complimentary in adjoining... More

This hotel is really nice, quite old world charm, not a modern hotel but very clean and the staff are very helpful. We arrived at about 2pm and our room wasn't quite ready but they said we could leave our bags and come back in about an hour. We walked up to Central Park which is literally about a 10... More

I would definitely reccomend this hotel for your New York stay. So much nicer than the big high rise chain hotels. Mid town location, can walk everwhere, decent breakfast included, older style decor but cozy. Rooms very nice. Feels like European hotel. Front Desk staff excellent.

Small boutique hotel. Great location, clean, comfortable room, no hustle and bustle, fair price. Will definitely stay there again! Mid-town location, walking distance to theatre district and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff.

Older hotel with all the amenities. Large room for NY. Breakfast is continental and adequate. Very convenient location. Close to subway and easy walking distance to attractions. Accommodating reception staff. An enjoyable stay. Would recommend

Just spent a week in New York and stayed at the Blakely . Ideal spot as based in Mid Town and handy for most "attractions". Room big enough and clean enough , breakfast included in the deal and set you up for the day.Italian restaraunt attached to the hotel where we dined on 2 occasions in the evening and had... More

Stayed at the Blakely recently for 9 nights to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We had e-mailed the hotel prior to leaving the UK in relation to transport from JFK to the hotel. The concierge promptly replied with the best mode of transport and prices. We opted for the private car and were met by the driver at the gate... More

We stayed at the Blakely for 8 nights at the end of April/beginning of May. I wasn't certain that this hotel was the best choice for us, but I was proved wrong. The downstairs lobby, though small, was charming, and we loved the library motif throughout the hotel. We even had shelves of hardback books in our room. We were... More

This was our second trip to the Blakely, having stayed there 12 months ago on the recommendation of New zealand friends. It did not disappoint. Pros-small hotel, attractive library like entrance, most helpful staff ( just ask them if they don't come forward), large rooms, kitchenette attached, and a living room area ( small and dark but still extra space... This is now the 6th hotel in New York we have stayed in and rate it as the best. It is small - there was only 8 rooms on our floor - and may not have all the facilities of large hotels but what it offers is first class. We had a 1 bedroom suite - the bedroom was large... More
