Second time in hotel. Cannot fault service or cleanliness. Rooms big, bedding and yield changed daily. Happy hour in the bar, really close to 5th Avenue, Central oark and time square. Brilliant and breakfast included!

Clean sheets/towels daily! Comfortable bed. Photos provided on website by the hotel are representative of the room. No false surprises, which was wonderful. The complementary continental breakfast was sufficient and all of the food was fresh. Good coffee too. Location was perfect for walking to the Met Museum, Frick, Lincoln Center and Times Square. Only disappointment, the room was advertised... More

I know this hotel since de 80´s, when it was called Gorham, and it improved a lot since then. Very nice rooms with a small kitchen and new bathrooms. The staff is very kind and always willing to help and last but not least, the hotel is very central and near to everything. Breakfast is OK at an italian reataurant... More

This was a surprise to have such a large room in NYC for a reasonable price. The room had 2 double beds, lots of storage for clothes, luggage, etc. There was a bar with a small refrigerator, Keurig, and microwave oven, plus real half and half for coffee and tea. It also had a large bathtub that was most welcome... More

We selected this hotel for its location, just 2 blocks from the Carnegie Hall. We were staying one night, because we did not want to drive home after the concert. I made the reservations directly with the hotel about a week in advance. The rate was excellent and I called back 2 days later because I forgot to give them... More

The front desk staff are very nice and helpful. The hotel lobby is small, cozy, friendly. Breakfast in the restaurant next door was very good, quiet, pleasant. Continental was good and plenty on the menu for those who needed more. Oatmeal was GREAT! Rooms are not big, but very clean, very functional with all the necessary amenities, coffee, fridge, snacks,... More

I've just returned from four nights at The Blakely, New York. It is a charming little boutique hotel, ideally situated in midtown, just across the street from City Center theater, close to Central Park, and the Museum of Modern Art. I booked via booking.com and got an excellent rate, but upon arrival was put into a room facing the back... More

We loved the BLAKELY! The location was perfect! The best part of the Blakely was the friendly staff. That was my 6th trip to NYC and by far this was the friendliest staff ! The room was very clean and we enjoyed the microwave and refrigerator in the room. We were in town celebrating my daughter's18 birthday and we had... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
