This is a great location in terms of getting around NY. Walking distance to Times Sq, Rockefellar Centre, Central Park and good subway connections. Concierge staff are great, Edwin was really helpful and they arranged for my sons backpack to be Fedexed on to us. Rooms fine for NY but the buffet breakfast is poor and the waiting/managing staff in... More

We stayed at The Blakley for 6 nights on a New York city visit at the end of July. What a great hotel. The rooms are a good size for Manhattan, the kitchenette is more that adequate and the staff are all top notch. Check in was fast and no hassle and very friendly. We had a room on the... More

We love the Blakey as it is the perfect boutique hotel. The location is convenient and within walking distance to Times Square and the theatre district. Rooms are small but adequate. The customer service and attention to detail is excellent!

Good location, right next to a subway station and a short walk to MOMA and other attractions. Not too many interesting restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Very intimate with attentive and helpful staff who were happy to multi-task. The rooms were nicely kept and clean. Bathrooms were well appointed. Coffee bar and mini fridge in the rooms. We had a... Would thoroughly recommend this place to stay when you go to New York. Nice, spacious, cosy rooms, most with double beds. Right on Times Squares' doorstep - could not ask for a better location. Breakfast was brilliant

When we arrived at the Blakely it did not appear like much but it turned out to be a gem starting with the greeting and help form the concierge to the happy hour at the bar. We booked a junior suite room which was very roomy with a separate living area, plus a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave in the... More

This hotel is wonderfully situated within midtown Manhattan. It's rooms are nicely appointed with mini-fridge, wet bar and microwave. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Would absolutely seek this hotel out to stay again! Thanks Blakely for a terrific stay!

We stayed at this hotel in December, as we wanted to go ice skating at Rockefeller Center. We found a sweet deal on line for $100 off per night at The Blakely, so we jumped on it. We were not disappointed. First of all, the hotel is at an awesome location. You have walking access to Rockefeller Center, Times Square,... More

It's an unassuming hotel with a quiet reception and location considering its in the heart of Manhattan. As a family of four we found the family room suited us well. We booked it because of the mini-kitchenette facility which was useful when our boys wanted to reheat some food or have a hot drink. Our room containing two double beds... More

I would like to thank the staff of The Blakely hotel for how well my wife and myself were looked after during our recent stay here. we were at the front on the 16th floor, so no outside noise problems, rooms were clean and comfortable. I thought the front desk and the lads around there were extremely courteous, friendly and... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
