We got a room with two double beds. It was very small and a bit outdated but perfect for what we needed. The location is the hotels best feature.. just steps from the subway station, theatre district, and tons of fabulous restaurants! Smack dab in the middle of time square! I would stay there again and recommend to others!

Everything at the Edison was wonderful. My wife, teen daughter and I spent several nights in a signature room and had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was great. The hotel addressed the minor issues we encountered thoroughly and quickly. We would definitely stay again.

My family and I stayed here before Christmas. We are frequent visitors to NYC and thought this hotel was in the perfect location for the theaters and Times Square. Upon arriving, we turned our cars over to the valets for safekeeping. We were charged $65 for 2 days of parking since we were there over 24 hours. Two months later,... More

We really enjoyed our stay. The Staff were lovely. The doormen were always cheerful and helpful considering they were standing outside when the weather was well below zero! Our rooms 704 and 706 were very comfortable, cleaned daily and spacious. Ideal location to explore everything New York has to offer. The rum house attached to the hotel, but run separately,... More

Dear AnneOsprey Thank you for the wonderful review. It seems you experienced all the Edison has to offer. We thank you for your kind words of our staff especially our Doorman. They are a bit challenged during our extreme cold temperatures, but despite it all they continue to provide amazing service with a smile on their faces. Our staff will... More

We just got back from a trip to NYC and spent 5 nights at the Edison. I had read a bunch of reviews and was a little nervous so let me say - to literally stay half a block from Times Square, you couldn't ask for a better choice! From the moment we checked in they were great. The doorman... More

Firstly I cannot fault the location. However the hotel staff in general leave a lot to be desired. There was plumbing work going on and although the drilling and hammering started early in the morning, our room had no plumbing issues. However the hotel asked us to change rooms anyway due to the plumbing. This was done by a letter... More

Most hotels boast about their location but it would be hard to beat Hotel Edison's if you want to be close to Times Square and its attractions. Staff were uniformly helpful and whilst my room was on the small side, it was comfortable and well equipped. Water pressure in the shower was impressive ... I like to be 'sand blasted'... More

I loved where the hotel is situated, right in the centre of the Times Square. Beautiful interiors. Loved the music and the complimentary wine and cheese during the week. I've been having a few complaints. To start off with, the staff is rude. Non compliant and rude staff. We stayed on the 22nd floor. The room had two queen size... More

I have had a Great assistance at the reception by Mrs. Justyna. She was very kind and competent! She explained everything and made it a pleasant stay. The room was quite small but the location is unbeatable ! 1 min from Times Square at the heart of NY

Great location for Times square and for all the shows. Staff were very helpful they even got me a fridge for my room as I needed it for medication! Room was spotless and cleaned daily. Although there was building work going on we didn't notice it ( we where on the 10th floor). The only thing I would say, was... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
