Location is great but everything else isn't! Staff is rude and not welcoming. Our room was smelly and the ac wasn't wiring correctly and the staff was not willing to move us to another room. They told us the hotel was full but later did move us. Obviously the hotel wasn't full! Wouldn't stay here again regardless of the cheap... More

This place is garbage!! The service is garbage, the rooms are garbage, the matresses are garbage, about the only that isn't garbage is the location. In fact the location is GREAT! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a fine gentleman at the curb. We had loads of luggage and he was quite helpful. However, a few mins later we needed... More

Location:Perfect My boyfriend and I spent the weekend in NYC and found an extremely cheap deal through Retailmenot.com on this hotel for 2 nights. We were paying $118 a night to be right in the middle of Times Square. We had heard awesome reviews of this place, but in the end, we were really just looking for something close by... More

The hotel is located as close as it could be to the time square. very comfortable and centralized. This is an old building and the hotel maintenance wasn't that good. They didn't give us the room we ordered and they were not that cooperative in changing it and the room was not very clean, The service level was not consistent,... More

Our first visit to the USA an older couple so after arriving at New York following 8 days in Indianapolis a tranquil place in comparison it was a culture shock. The hotel was so busy, but I have to say they did us proud. All the staff were friendly and obliging, the whole thing was run to precision. The hotel... More

Stayed at this hotel with a friend to see a concert in NYC on Monday night July 21, 2014. Located next to the W Times Square, the location is ideal for those who want to be towards the west side, theatre district, and Times Square transportation options. Check-in took quite a bit of time - seems everyone arrived at 3... More

Second time staying at the Edison Hotel and we will stay there anytime we are in New York. Location is perfect. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. Loved the wine and cheese night with the live musicians. A lovely surprise. Yes the rooms are small but it's New York, you only need the room to sleep in anyways.

As others have said, the rooms that are not remodeled are old and dated. The rooms were smaller than we experienced at the Hampton Inn on 8th Ave previously, but fine by New York standards. The air conditioning worked well, but was VERY noisy. We wore ear plugs at night. However, I would say that since the hotel is so... More

Lovely staff, great location in the heart of times square, a stone's throw from broadway and a few blocks from central park. We received a welcome pack as it was the first part of our honeymoon, which was a nice touch. Yes rooms are quite small, but who spends time in there other than sleeping in New York?! Definitely enjoyed... More

I stayed a week in this hotel with two friends last September (2013). I was looking for a comfortable and clean hotel in the heart of New York. And that's what I got when I stayed in this hotel. Just 20 metres from the tribune of Times Square, this hotel offers you comfortable rooms, a friendly and helpful staff and... More
