Stayed for four days for a couples city break. Hardly used room which was small but very functional. Don't expect the ritz here. The Hotel is in a superb location, staff are polite and efficient doing their best in a busy environment. Rum house cocktail bar atmospheric but you pay for it. Overall great Hotel for budget travellers. NYC is... More

This is my 6th time staying at the Edison Hotel in Times Square. This time we stayed in a room with two twin beds. This room was extremely outdated, but for the most part it seemed clean. We couldn't control the air from our room, and of course we went on the only two hot days so far this year.... More

We stayed in one of the recently refurbished rooms and it was great. Everything was new and top notch. All of the staff from the doorman to the cleaners and everyone in between were courteous, helpful and professional. Great exercise room and business center and an attractive lobby. We will definitely be going back there the next time we stay... More

Nice enough place-- rooms are clean, modern, efficient. Stay clear of Hotel Edison Cafe! Service is Horrendous!!! Waitress did everything but throw the food at you. Took off in the middle of our order-- comes back with part of the order--- have to hunt her down for check, only for her to her own tip to our check (why we... More

I stay at this fairly-priced hotel whenever I'm in town for a play. It's walking distance to all of the sights, theatres, shopping districts and has a warm and friendly staff. You can't beat their prices and they have a beautiful lobby and tasty cafe downstairs. I was there a couple of weeks ago and they've added a gym and... More

Stayed here for five nights. We arrived early, however they were able to check us in right away. We booked a Classic Suite and based on other reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. We were on the 15th floor in what appeared to be a renovated suite. It was clean, comfortable, and well furnished (even the sofa bed was comfortable). Both... More

This was our 3rd or 4th visit in several years. Staff is very helpful and polite. Rooms were clean. Location is great! Walking distance to lots of great things in NYC --- Windows open! Rooms were comfortable --- hotel has a wonderful "classic" NYC feel -- not cookie cutter

My reservation was for a Signature Two Queen. I had a view of a wall with the window of another room. So, if we both opened our curtains, we would be looking at each other. I called down to ask if there was a similar room with a better view. "Umm... there aren't many rooms on the signature floors with... More

This was our second stay at the Edison. We last stayed there 6 years ago. We were in the city to see If Then The Musical. We didn't realize Richard Rodgers theatre is right across the street if you exit by the back door. (A huge plus for us!) The Edison is a wonderful place to stay. You can't beat... More

My recent stay at this property for a family vacation was excellent. The location is very good if you have an interest in mid town and the theaters - walking distance to most Broadway theaters. The property was clean, staff service was good and responsive. I also felt very comfortable with the house security arrangements - having to validate that... More
