The rooms are xtremely large as compared to the standard in manhattan. Nice bathrooms and quiet room. Personnel was very friendly. The location is just steps south from Grand station and public library (must see) and Chrysler building and of course shopping too. Will be back again.

Had a great stay at the Tuscany this past weekend. Our "usual" NY hotel was booked so we gave this one a shot. Just a block from Grand Central- easy to get on the subway to go uptown/downtown, and a 15 min walk to 5th/midtown. Loved not having to lug my bag halfway across the city or in a cab/subway!... Stayed here because of the good trip advisor ratings. Very disappointed, however, mainly because of the lack of a good nights sleep. There is no soundproofing in the doors or windows. People in the hall and then their room were very loud at 4 am ruining one nights sleep. Even at other times of the night, each and every night,... More

My husband and i stayed in this hotel for two nights whilst travelling to New York and then to Montreal. We found the hotel very good; clean at first sight although i could see that it was a bit dusty around the windows and the edges of the room; price = not expensive for New York; at least they do... My husband and I have recently returned from a 5night stay at this hotel. When we arrived the staff at the front door and desk were very friendly and helpful and we were able to head straight to our room. The room was lovely and spacious, although the heating made an awful noise when it was on and the bathroom toilet... More

The Tuscany was a wonderous experience, situated on a street between Park Ave and Lexington Ave, it was a great location to enjoy the central location with availability to all of New York. Only two blocks from Grand Central Station the hotel allows one to reach any point in the city through the subway system. The hotel was quiet, comfortable... More

Thanksgiving weekend was our third time staying at the St. Giles (first time was actually next door at the sister property - The Court - during Super Storm Sandy, and truth be told, that is actually what made us St. Giles fans). As always, everyone was friendly and helpful - especially Nakia at the front desk who got me out... More

Would have given this hotel a higher rating, but had an unpleasant experience at check out with a disputed charge. The attendant at the desk was not helpful and management was not on premises at the time, but desk staff said we would be contacted by management within a day. We were never contacted, our credit card was charged for... More

As I tend to overplan every trip I go on, I put a lot of time and effort into selecting a hotel room for my wife and I on our recent trip to New York. Prior to leaving home, I did have a few reservations as to if I had made the right choice of hotel. After all, there are... More

Gem of a NYC hotel. It is a former W and recently renovated so rooms are ultra modern with incredibly comfortable beds and furniture. Really well laid out and designed. Also incredibly clean, not even dust anywhere. Fast free wifi, awesome rainfall showerheads, and luxury bath amenities. Location is perfect for Midtown, can walk most anywhere. And the price is... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
