This place is awesome! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby and elevators were very clean. The room we stayed at was enormous. We booked the Loft and I love our room, especially the bathroom! My husband and I would stay at this place again! We love where it is located, very close to Grand Central and walking distance... I spent weeks and many many hours hunting for the perfect hotel for our stay in the big city. I'm very pleased that we went with the Tuscany, due to their fabulous reviews. Location was perfect I think, could walk to Grand Central in 1-2mins! so many cafes etc nearby, starbux are 2 mins walk, one block either way. A... More

The penthouse on the 17th floor of this hotel is a superbly comfortable and attractive space. It's 360 degree wrap around terrace is spectacular with fabulous views of the Chrysler and Empire State buildings and even comes equipped with its own outdoor uber grill. It's a great space for entertaining in a very convenient midtown location.

First our room was veeery large, plenty of space, nice look with modern decor, bed was very comfy, shower was great (hot water and good pressure), flat screen tv. No coffee machine but I asked for one and got it in room straight away. There was a fridge. It was well-stocked but you pay what you take. Second, service was... More

Room was not ready despite my calling them twice to inform them of our arrival. Dirty floors and carpet. Fake nail found on floor. Manager came and took pictures and room cleaned thoroughly next day. Breakfast sucked. Desk staff average not very friendly or helpful. Lobby dirty. Great location and room large just poorly run. Could be fabulous with right... More

Dear Katherine M, We are sorry to hear that your experience at The Tuscany did not meet your expectations. I would like the opportunity to speak with you in person regarding your experience. May is a very busy month, and we are fully committed most nights, which often makes an early check in quite difficult. Though we do our best... More

The hotel is nice, it's clean and everything you need. It's in a very good location, just a short walk to Times Square lots of little restaurants close by, but also a bit out of the way which is nice. Reception staff were friendly but not as friendly as I feel they could have been, I didn't think they were... More

My husband and I stayed at the Tuscany for 5 nights. The room is very large. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. We stayed on the 4th floor, rear; and the room was very quiet. We couldn't hear any street noise. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Grand Central Station is very nearby. We'd recommend this hotel... More

As others have said, the rooms are large, comfortable and attractive, the view's lovely and the location is perfect to walk almost anywhere. It's a smaller hotel on a nice quiet street with delicious tea at nearby Cafe Lucid & great breakfast at Penelope's. This was our second stay and we'll be back.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
