My title says it all- Excellent location, friendly staff, spacious room. We had an excellent visit in NY and it was always great coming back to the hotel at the end of the day. Reception helped us with everything from finding a pharmacy to giving us directions to the movie theater. The room was spacious and was well equipped with... More

It was our first time in New York and we chose this hotel having consider its customers reviews at trip advisor. I have to say that we weren't, disappointed at all. We'll be back in our next visit. Totally recommendable.

This is a very nice hotel close to Grand Central and some great bagel and pizza places. We were able to walk almost everywhere, and were obviously close to the subway when needed. Check-in was quick and efficient and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well-stocked. (Though I did have to ask for more... More

(couple late 20's) We stayed here for 11 days from boxing day to the beginning of Jan, for New Year and a Birthday trip. Neither of us had been to NYC before and this looked like a nice place in a good location. We were correct, it was lovely, very modern and no faults with the hotel or the room.... More

We stayed one night at the Tuscany and loved it. We were upgraded to a suite - which was wonderful. The suite gave us extra room to invite friends over and the use of the fridge and microwave were great. The living area was very large with a couch, 2 chairs and a desk and share and a small table... We live in NY and stayed at the St. Giles Tuscany hotel because of early morning business meetings. It was our first time, and we will probably return if we need to stay in midtown Manhattan. The pros: centrally located in a low-key, safe residential neighborhood; near to take-out markets and inexpensive restaurants; near subways and trains; rooms are spacious... More

The Tuscany is very nice inside, good bedding, towels and the rooms and bathrooms are HUGE by NYC standards, well maintained and modern. It's in a bit of a dead zone as far as convenient places to get a quick bite or buy supplies, but it's New York, go a couple of blocks and you have anything you want. Two... More

St. Giles The Tuscany is very nice hotel located in prime area of Manhattan - New York City. Rooms are very nice, big and clean. Hotel staff is very friendly, polite and approachable. All attractions are in walking distance and area has variety of restaurants and small eating joints. So far I stayed at this hotel twice and I am... More

Wonderful position near Times Square. Nice larghe rooms with free Wi-Fi. Breakfast sufficient but not more.... Personnel is very kind expecially at the Reception. If the price would be a little more convenient, it would be the perfect hotel where to stay in New York. Corrado F.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
