We stayed here for 4 nights in February 2016. All the staff were lovely and helpful. They were always on hand to assist and even helped us arrange transport to the airport when it was time to leave. The room was huge, good layout, huge comfy bed, lovely and clean. Fantastic central location for the hotel. Right by grand central... More

The hotel was very comfortable, well decorated and the rooms were big. Location wise it was not close to any major attractions, however it was walking distance from Grand Central Terminal. Service wise the hotel staff were generally friendly and helpful. The only downside I would say is that I had ordered a private shuttle through the hotel from JFK... More

This was our second stay in last four months. Excellent rate and received an unsolicited upgrade. Room was spacious, especially for NYC. Bed was extremely comfortable. Room was very clean and sanitary. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel located on 39th Street between Third and Park Avenues is a little gem. The room was spacious and cheerful. I had a terrific rest-what a great mattress! The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Room was clean. Service was good. Our room on the 4th floor was quite. It would have been more convenient to get breakfast in the hotel. Would certainly return to the Tuscany the next time I am in NY. Thank you!

I stayed here for 6 nights recently. The hotel is average and only worth it if you are getting a deal. It is no frills with hard tissues, average towels. The size of the room is large and furnishings ok. The staff are nice but if you need anything done good luck! I asked 4 times for the same thing... More

I have stayed at the Tuscany a few times now, and every time the experience has been superlative. Since I always take the train down to the city, the location just two blocks from Grand Central makes it incredibly convenient to just hop off the train, walk a couple of blocks with my bag, then drop it off at the... We stayed here for one night after we returned from Los Angeles. The rooms are huge (very unlike NYC hotels) and tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed and fully equipped room. It was a pleasure staying there.

Hotel was 'OK". Biggest issue was they PUMP fragrance in the lobby that is horrible (and all the hallways and hotel rooms). I never understood why hotels feel the need to be so synthetic in their approach to cleanliness.

Just returned from 5 nights at The Tuscany and really can't fault the place. In comparison to other hotels we looked at the Tuscany offers great value, a very central location with only a 2 minute walk to Grand Central Station, the subway links to Brooklyn Bridge, downtown and uptown and walking distance to so many great sights including Times... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
