I have stayed here 6 times. I absolutely love the location of this hotel. i feel like a New Yorker. It has the right mix of local residents and tourism. You are literally 2 blocks away from 42nd street. The local amenities of hairdressers, nail boutiques, restaurants and 3 stacks in a small radius. This is a hotel thats beautiful.... More

Our first trip to NYC for my 40th and we are really happy we chose to stay at the Tuscany. We stayed for 12 nights. Great location, only two blocks from Grand Central station and a 10-15 minute walk to Times Square. We booked a corner studio, our room was on the 11th floor and had a great view of... More

It really is as simple as above. Accomodation and location wise, we cannot fault this hotel. We were upgraded to a Corner Suite (we paid for a Deluxe Double), and my word was it big! More than enough space for the two of use. The bed was so comfortable, as were the chairs in the room. Bathroom was clean, modern... More

Just spent two nights at this recently renovated modern property. My flight was canceled and re-booked directly for a third night at a deeply discounted rate (thank you!!). In both instances, it was a studio room which was huge, quiet and clean - lovely hardwood floors, very comfortable bed, really great shower with wonderful E.Vulcano bath amenities. Service was outstanding,... More

The hotel is very clean very new and equiped with the best of stuff and the room is large. The price is very high concerning what you get!! I paid almost 300 $ for one night withou any breakfast!! And it was a late reservation..a week earlier they wanted 400$ for the same one night.

The Tuscany is a mid-size hotel. It is not luxurious or even particularly chic but is friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent, within easy walking of Grand Central Station. A range of restaurants and cafes are nearby (do stock up on goodies at the Grand Central Station Market for in-room snacking; and Lucid Cafe did a great range of... More

Our 4 night stay at the Tuscany was perfect for our sightseeing trip to NYC. Our suite was spacious, clean and quiet with a view of the Chrysler Building. The staff, especially Shane, was professional and friendly. Do know that, contrary to what was implied in a tour book, the continental breakfast is not included in the room rate. The... More

I've now stayed at The Tuscany twice in the last few months and both times, I've been very pleased. The rooms are clean, well-maintained and a bit larger than your average NYC hotel room. The staff is professional and polite and the location is very convenient. I would happily stay here again and again.

Stayed at the Tuscany last year and wrote my very first review ever. I wanted to let people know how nice it was to stay there. I booked my room with Partrick, the same reservationists that I dealt with last year. Joshua is still there too. It was so nice to be greeted by Shane and Dennis again,at the front... More

The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. When my room key didn't work on my second night, it was replaced very quickly. Restaurant staff is friendly: food and service both good. The only drawback (for me) was the lack of a bathtub in my room. That being said, the shower was very large and had both a fixed and handheld... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
